Another good question to ask is, "Are you born again?" Most JWs will say, "No." Only the Anointed class are born again, accordingly to JW doctrine. Take them to John 3:3 and 1:11-12, and kindly inform them that if they are not born ανωθεν 'again/from above" then they are not children of God and will not see his kingdom, which means they will not be on Paradise Earth (which will be part of God's kingdom).

@@RowanTasmanian We did. It was a small and quiet Thanksgiving weekend. I love this time of year, and hate it at the same time. I love it because we slow down a bit due to the holidays coming up. We take care of our employees and give them a dinner with bonuses, for all their hard work. It is usually a slower time for us which allows us to reflect on the last year and take stock of what God has done for us. Top all that off with a celebration of how God entered His creation to dwell with us, die for us, and rise again for us. It is truly a spectacular time of year to look at all God's blessings. I hate it because every year I have to deal with my wife, who is still JW, and refuses to even have dinner with the family on Thanksgiving. There is NOTHING even remotely pagan about dinner on a Thursday, but she has to go completely out of her way to show her "solidarity" and commitment to her cult. It's frustrating, because she cooks a complete "thanksgiving" meal that weekend prior, or the weekend after. She says "Turkeys were on sale, that's all." When I ask her is turkeys are pagan, she says "No." Shen I ask her if eating dinner with family on a Thursday if pagan. "No." I ask her is being thankful is pagan. "No". So it's the potatoes and stuffing? "No." So doing it all on the same day is pagan? .... ... ... silence..... It's so frustrating. Her cognitive dissonance runs deeeeeeep in that cult. But I try to make the best of it anyway. Hope you and your family is doing well this year end holiday season.

Dear kevinfromcanada, I have learned not to discuss theology with JWs. What I ask about is the shrinking number of Kingdom Halls, the tsunami of court cases re:child sexual abuse and all the dress code changes. They usually refuse to talk about any of those things either so I just tell them that Jesus loves them and that I do too and that they’re welcome to knock on my door anytime.

The elders said it was my fault because I wasn't doing enough for Jehovah and I had no right to divorce her even though authorities got involved, courts ordered a restraining order, and there was a chance CPS could take my kids because of her. When I left, I began researching and dug up a trail of lies, corruption, deceit, covering up CSA, broken families, and destroyed lives by these guys. I found Christ and joined a church and despite it all, He has carried me and saved a broken man. I’m actually a bit sick of even thinking about convincing them that they’re wrong. My boss is a JW and I can’t take him seriously. It’s objectively untrue and completely incredible to have been waiting for the end to happen ‘any day now’ for 150 years. It’s laughable. So ridiculous that they can’t be reasoned out of their beliefs, because their beliefs are so unreasonable to begin with. Like trying to convince a three year old that Santa doesn’t exist.

@user-xo2mp4yf7b That's pretty convenient, isn't it? He's invisible, so his presence can't be disputed and must be assumed? Why? Because the GB says so? But that conflicts with what scripture says about his coming. How will he "come" to execute judgment if he's already here, visible or not? What scripture supports your assertion that he returned *_invisibly?_*
@evanwindom3265
@evanwindom3265 Жыл бұрын
:@user-xo2mp4yf7b Thanks for providing that scripture. It looks like you're basing your response on the definition of παρουσία (parousía), then? Assuming that's the case... I checked the *_first 20 translations_* listed on BlueLetterBible so there was no cherry-picking on my part. All of them translated παρουσία (parousía) as "coming" in this verse, not as "presence". That word is translated 24 times, with 21-22 of them having it as "coming", depending on the translation. The only other verses in the majority of those translations that translate it as "presence" are: "For they say, 'His letters are weighty and strong, but his personal presence is weak and his words contemptible.'” - 2 Cor 10:10. "So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling;" - Phil 2:12 If the word means "coming" (as pretty much EVERY translation other than the NWT sees it), then your comment that "If the presence was visible, then, the need for a sign would be pointless" is moot. Let's face it --- no one but the WT thinks it means "presence", and the NWT is widely understood to be hugely biased and inaccurate in its handling of scripture. If you're going to support your argument that Jesus is already here invisibly, you're going to need to do better than a single quote from a biased and untrustworthy source. Let's examine the WT's record on the subject. 1897: “Our Lord, the appointed King, is now present since October 1874, A.D.” -- Studies in the Scriptures, vol 4, p621. Apparently, they changed their mind about this. If his presence is invisible, why would they need to do that? 1899: “…the ‘battle of the great day of God Almighty’ (Rev 16:14), which will end in 1914 with the complete overthrow of Earth’s present rulership, is already commenced.” -- The Time is at Hand, p101. So, according to my calendar, it's been 109 years and Earth's "present rulership" seems pretty much intact. I haven't seen a lot of overthrowing going on. 1916: “The Bible chronology herein presented shows that the six great, 1000-year days starting with Adam are ended, and the great 7th Day, the 1000 years of Christ’s Reign, began in 1873.” -- The Time is at Hand forward, pii (1916). It seems like they're having a little trouble figuring out what their position actually is, doesn't it? What exactly is supposed to happen under "Christ's Reign", if it began in 1873? Or 1874? Or 1914? Or whenever they come up with next? 1918: “… we confidently expect that 1925 will mark the return of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the faithful prophets of old, particularly those named by the Apostle in Hebrews 11, to the condition of human perfection.” -- Millions Now Living Will Never Die, p89. How's that working out for you all so far? Enjoying some quality time wtih Abraham, are you? 1931: “There was a measure of disappointment on the part of Jehovah’s faithful ones on earth concerning the years 1917, 1918, and 1925, which disappointment lasted for a time... And they also learned to quit fixing dates.” -- Vindication, p338. No, no... they didn't. In 1943, they said "Armageddon will take place 'within a few months'”. In 1968, they claimed that the six 1,000-year days of human history would end in 1975. I was around in 1975, but don't remember history ending. Throughout the organization's history, they have lurched from one prophetic face-plant to the next. So, why should anyone trust them when they say, after a long string of false assertions, that Jesus returned in 1914, and we just can't see him? Do you see why such claims are completely lacking in credibility? You can't just creatively misuse one Greek word in one verse and come up with an entirely new and unscriptural description of Jesus' return. Let's face the facts here. They're guessing, and always have been. They're not "the channel", and they're not hearing from God. What else ya got there, mate?

@user-xo2mp4yf7b Once he returns, why would he still need a slave? You're still focused on what you think is a prophecy, and missing the point of the parable. Please tell me -- what do you think is the point of the parable? Or do you think it's not a parable at all?

@user-xo2mp4yf7b Okay, well... This has become pointless. You're still insisting that Matt 24:45 is a prophecy, that some sort of sign of a presence that hasn't happened is necessary, and all without providing evidence other than to just declare all non-NWT translations as inaccurate or biased. Saying the same thing endlessly doesn't make it true.

Another good question is "Why do you not partake of the bread and wine?" they will say, "I'm not of the anointed class I have an earthly hope" don't asked them to explain that rabbit hole to you, just share that John 53 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. @kevinfromcanada4379
@kevinfromcanada4379 Жыл бұрын
Your point about the bread and wine is valid-all Christians are _commanded_ to keep that ordinance. However, Jesus' statement in John is not about the Lord's supper. As DA Carson points out: “None of this means there is no allusion in these verses to the Lord’s table. But such allusions as exist prompt the thoughtful reader to look behind the eucharist, to that to which the eucharist itself points. In other words, eucharistic allusions are set in the broader framework of Jesus’ saving work, in particular his cross-work. Moreover, by the repeated stress in this discourse on Jesus’ initiative, no room is left for a magical understanding of the Lord’s table that would place God under constraint : submit to the rite, and win eternal life! Both the feeding miracle and the Lord’s table, rightly understood, parabolically set out what it means to receive Jesus Christ by faith.”[1] I hope you take this correction as a help rather than a slap-down. You've made a good point. If JWs claim to be followers of Jesus, then they should, as Jesus commanded, be partaking of the Lord's supper/eucharist. So why aren't they? [1] Donald A. I'm not saying that the Bible ought to be thrown out, but it is important to know we don't have the fullness right now. The Lord can lead us and teach us directly those things that are unclear or blurry in the Bible. It is still His word. However, truth is truth and can not change, so when He adds new light, it will build on what we have, not change it 180 degrees, which i think is your point. The original founder Charles Taze Russell, never said much about the name Jehovah. According to the Watchtower, he was the Faithful and Discreet Slave. It took from 1879 until 1931 for the name Jehovah to be adopted. THAT'S 52 YEARS. 52 Years in a nameless wilderness. Again according to the Watchtower, Jesus took command of the Watchtower in 1919, if the erroneous name "Jehovah" was so important, why didn't the organisation have the name Jehovah originally ????? It then took from 1919 until 1931 for Jesus to be advised by Jehovah saying "Hey Jesus, I think my name Jehovah should be used as a name for a group of people in New York and is being operated by Mr Rutherford who has anti semitic leanings and is an admirer and supporter of the Third Reich and the Nazi Party" So, in 1931, the JWs created the name "Jehovah's Witnesses", The very same years they supported the Third Reich and the Nazi Party. The Watchtower use the name Jehovah only as a "Marketing Exercise".

Do JW’s have a works based faith? JW: “No, we don’t” Non-JW: “When someone is disfellowshipped and subsequently shunned within the congregation, what must one do in order to regain admittance? Can their prayer of forgiveness in the eyes of God be enough? Let’s first define “works”. Work(s) is that which we perform for some kind of reward. So, if that individual JW were to repent in his heart for a sin committed, would that be sufficient enough? Or do works come into play for that person to “show” repentance? JW: “…..” NonJW: “isn’t it true that the individuals prayer of repentance to God is not enough and that person must show “works” by coming and sitting silently in the Kingdom Hall for months, even years, to satisfy the elders in order to show THEM that the individual is repentant and thus worthy of the “reward” of reinstatement? JW: “…..” 😐

Im disfellowshipped. and a better word for "works" is "actions" as opposed to just saying words in your heart as a prayer and not doing anything about it. "Actions" show you mean what you say. For a disfellowshipped person, along with prayer and a letter for appeal to be reinstated to the elders of the local congregation goes the "actions" of simply showing up on time and listening at the congregation "showing" that you want to be reinstated. You say is prayer enough? I say alot of people don't even accept the "written words" of the man/King they claim to worship, let alone silent words of prayer.

If parts of the Bible have been corrupted, why should you believe any of it. 2. :) 3. If I bow down and worship Jesus, which is giving him "λατρεύω" is that wrong since "λατρεύω" should only be given to the Father? 4. What verse is that? 5. I agree. Therefore anything they teach now has the potential to be incorrect, and all JW's are following God incorrectly. 6. As I said in the Video, it's all about the emphasis. JW's use the name Jehovah constantly, but you don't see that from Jesus, it's very few, and only when quoting the OT, (given the oral traditions at the time, he probably said Adonia, but both are unproven ) Point is, he talks about himself about 90% more than he talks about the Father. Good video, jws certainly do not like questions, particularly questions that shake their deeply held beliefs. As a spiritual person, and one who follows the teaching of love by Jesus, I have a question for you. Who is Jesus' father? Christians, as well as jws and others, believe Jesus' father is the god of the OT. But, is this really true? The OT god killed Egypt's firstborn, killed an innocent baby for what his parents did, David & Bathsheba. Another example of this OT god killing innocents is found in two places describing one event, 1 Chronicles 21:14 & 2 Samuel 24:15. Also, consider what Jesus told the Jews at John 8:19, 42-44 and at John 17:25, 26. This is important when you consider the verses from the old testament which clearly identify Israel's father as LORD/YHWH/Yahweh/Jehovah. Deuteronomy 32:6; Isaiah 63:16; Isaiah 64:8; Jeremiah 3:4, 19; Jeremiah 31:9; Malachi 1:6; Malachi 2:10 Going back to 1 Chronicles 21 and 2 Samuel 24, look at the first verse in these 2 chapters. Who does it say incited David to take a census of Israel? Take close note that the verses identify 2 different individuals who incited David, or are they really 2 different individuals? When you consider 1 Chronicles 21:14 & 2 Samuel 24:15, could you imagine Jesus doing this? LORD/Yahweh/YHWH/Jehovah, the god of the old testament, is insecure, demanding, cruel, and violent. These are the qualities attributed to satan. It also explains how Jesus was so different from the OT god, even though people have been conditioned to believe that Jesus is the exact representation of the OT god. Compare the OT god and Jesus to the standard for love found at 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. Does the OT god meet this standard? Jesus does. Just some things to ponder... 2 Corinthians 11:14

Now if you want to talk about the comma johanneum, the end of Mark, or Jesus and the woman found in sin, there are many Christians scholars that have addressed that as well. But those are based on evidence, we can see due to the manuscript evidence that there might an issue. A growing channel on this is www.youtube.com/@TestifyApologetics, In regards to the NWT, there are many other translations that do that as well. @@warrengraham5419

For question (1) you're only looking at translated scripture. Or the Septuagint, which is also a translation, just an earlier one (some consider it divinely inspired, just like some denominations consider the KJV divinely inspired). Don't fall into the fallacy. Someone can criticize the English or Greek translations all they want and it doesn't delegitimize the entire Bible. Go back and read it in Hebrew. For example, Isaiah 7:14. Is it "virgin" (Greek "parthenos") or "young woman" (Hebrew "almah")? Now you must either argue a translation (the Septuagint) is superior to the original Hebrew due to divine inspiration or go seek original language to resolve the discrepancy. Your claim that arguing the English translation (traceable to Latin Vulgate to Greek Septuagint) legitimately removes the word "Yahweh" is an argument against translation, not against scripture. Clearly, the Greek scholars translated the word as "κυριος", reflecting the contemporary Jewish idea that the name was too holy to be said aloud (which Jews still practice today).

Jehovah's Witnesses teach there is no hell but the following proves differently. Jesus Himself Speaks About Hell And How Not To Go There: In Luke 16:19-31 Jesus describes a rich man that lived lavishly and a poor beggar man named Lazarus. It came to pass that Lazarus died and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom. The rich man died, was buried, then went to hell. 23 And in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in TORMENT, saw Abraham afar off and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue, for I am tormented IN THIS FLAME. 25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that you in your lifetime received good things, and likewise Lazarus received evil things, but now he is comforted and you are tormented. 26 And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that they which would pass from hence to you can not, neither can they pass to us, and would come from thence. 27 Then he said, I pray you therefore father, that you would send him to my father’s house. 28 For I have 5 brothers that he may testify unto them, lest also come into this place of torment. 29 Abraham said unto him, They have Moses and the prophets, let them hear them. 30 And he said, Nay father Abraham, but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.” LOCATION OF HELL: Jesus said in Matthew 12:40, ”For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly, so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the HEART OF THE EARTH.” Paul said in Ephesians 4:9, ”Now that he ascended, was it but that he also DESCENDED into the LOWER PARTS OF THE EARTH.” HELL IS A PLACE OF FIRE: Jesus said in Luke 16:24,”….Father Abraham have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue for I am TORMENTED IN THIS FLAME.” Jesus said in Matthew 13:42,”And shall cast them into a FURNACE OF FIRE, there shall be WAILING AND GNASHING OF TEETH.” Jesus said in Matthew 25:41,”Then shall he also say to them on the left hand, Depart from me, you cursed, INTO EVERLASTING FIRE, prepared for the devil and his angels.” Jesus said in Revelation 20:15,”And whosoever was not found written in the book of life, was CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.” HELL IS A PLACE OF TORMENT: Jesus said in Luke 16:23,”And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in TORMENT….” 24 …..for I am TORMENTED in this flame.” Jesus said in Revelation 14:11,”And the smoke of their TORMENT ascended up FOR EVER AND EVER, and they have no rest day or night….” Jesus said in Mark 9:45-46,”And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off, it is better for you to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the FIRE THAT NEVER SHALL BE QUENCHED. 46 Where their WORM DIES NOT, and the fire is not quenched.” Note that it doesn’t say “THE Worm”, it says “THEIR WORM” dies not. Jesus said in Revelation 21:8,”But the fearful and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whore mongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE, which is the second death.” Note that Brimstone is Sulfur and burns with a very strong odor of rotten eggs. The scriptures above prove when a person goes to hell they will constantly see hell, constantly smell hell, constantly feel the heat of hell, will constantly breath hell, will constantly hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth of others in hell, will constantly be aware of their own worms, they will have no rest day or night, there is no way out and it will continue for ever and ever, they can’t die because they are already dead. The following is how to not go there and it is a SIMPLE AND EASY thing to do: All of the book of Acts is what Jesus disciples said what we must to be SAVED - meaning not go to hell, which is repentance, water baptism in Jesus NAME, (Not the titles Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) and being baptized with the Holy Ghost. Jesus said in Mark 16:16,"He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be SAVED, but he that believes not shall be damned." At about that same time He said in Matthew 28:19,"Go therefore and teach all nations BAPTIZING them in the name (SINGULAR name and not name's) OF the Father, and OF the Son, and OF the Holy Ghost." Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are titles and not names. Jesus disciples never used those words when they baptized anyone in water, nor did they use those words in one sentence regarding any other topic. Every time they invoked Jesus NAME at baptism which is Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-18, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:15, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7, Acts 18:8, Acts 19:3-5, and Acts 22:16. Jesus said in John 3:3-7,"Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man BE BORN AGAIN, he can not see the kingdom of God. 5 Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man be born of water AND of the Spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 7 Marvel not that I say unto you, YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN." Being born of water is being baptized in water which is for the REMISSION OF SINS - meaning the INITIAL remission of sins and not the confessing of sins later addressed in 1 John 1:9. Being born of the Spirit is being baptized with the Holy Ghost. What being baptized with the Holy Ghost means is addressed in Acts 2:3-4, (Pentecost), Acts 8:17, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, and Acts 19:3-5 - which is when the Spirit of Christ initially dwells in a person. Nowhere in Scripture does it say it happens any other way than that way. There is not one Scripture that says a person receives the Holy Ghost just because they are a believer. Acts 19:1-5 is a good example. Paul said in Romans 8:9-11,”But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if so be that the spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, HE IS NONE OF HIS." Numbers 23:19, ”God is not a man that he should lie, neither the son of man, that he should repent, has he said and shall he not do it? And shall he not make it good?” Malachi 3:6,”For I am the Lord, I change not...” Hebrews 13:8,”Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” That means there is no reason to think that Jesus will make an exception and save someone that has not been baptized in water in Jesus NAME, and has not been baptized with the Holy Ghost. Some say the thief on the cross next to Jesus was not baptized yet Jesus told him he would be in paradise with him that day. Jesus had not given the COMMANDMENT to be baptized in HIS NAME until after he had risen from the dead and before he ascended into heaven. The thief on the cross could not have been baptized because he did not know about it. if you do what Jesus said above in Mark 16:16, Matthew 28:19, and John 3:3-7, you will be making SURE your name is Written In Lamb's Book Of Life. If you are convinced you need to get baptized in water in Jesus Name do a search and type in "United Pentecostal Church International", scroll down to just below the red box, type in your zip code, a screen will show a Church near you that will do that. Jesus said John 10:27, ”My Sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”

Just think a bit. Jesus himself ended up in hell when he died (Acts 2:27 KJV). Could it be a place of torment? How can the dead be tormented when the dead do not exist? (Ecclesiastes 9:10) Whatever your hand finds to do, do with all your might, for there is no work nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom in the Grave (hell), where you are going. Jesus' allegorical story targeted two GROUPS of people in his day. These were alive. The death was a change in condition.

If men' in this context means all humanity, then verse 6 would be superfluous. Paul is addressing the FEW who are in the New Covenant. Jesus dying for all humans is a separate issue. The remnant of those in the New Covenant and the symbolic 10 men from all nations who side with them make up JWs today. Zechariah 8:23. For there is one God and one intermediary between God and humanity, Christ Jesus, himself human, who gave himself as a ransom for all, revealing God’s purpose at his appointed time. (1 Tim. 2:5-6 NET) What was God's purpose? That the suffering servant, a human who is also divine, became the mediator between God and humanity by dying on behalf of humanity. This was not fully revealed until Christ came and died, then Jesus could take them through the OT and reveal what was spoken of him (Luke 24:25). If Jesus isn't your mediator, then you are not right with God.

So I have a question for you. Who is God the Father, and what's his name??? You say Jesus is God and I want you to answer my question of who is God the Father and what's his name. And why is he called "God" the Father and why does 1 Corinthians 8:5,6 say that to us there is only one God, the Father. It doesn't say Jesus is God. It says he's the Lord not LORD soooo who is the LORD that's God Almighty??? And watch this Exodus 6:3 says, "I appeared unto Abraham, Issac, and Jacob as God Almighty but by my name the LORD was I not known. And Acts 3:13 says The God of Abraham, the God of Issac, and the God of Jacob, the God of our forefathers has glorified his servant Jesus Christ. Soooo whatever the name of God Almighty is, is the same God Almighty that glorified his "SERVANT" Jesus Christ. Jesus isn't God pal. It'll do you good to know who and what Jesus is before you try preaching who God is. It's for that same reason that James said "Not many of you should become teachers, knowing that you'll receive the harsher judgment more than others.

Even a Christian cannot brush aside the worship of Jehovah as God. In Revelation 1:5 the Son of God called himself "Jesus Christ, 'The Faithful Witness.'" When on earth as a man he was a Jew, an Israelite, to whose nation the words of Isaiah 43:10 were written: "'You are my witnesses, ' is the utterance of Jehovah, even my servant whom I have chosen.'" Jesus demonstrated that he was a faithful and true witness of Jehovah God. His genuine disciples today must be the same kind of witnesses, Jehovah's.

LOL. As I said, JWs cannot provide answers. I said, give me _objective_ evidence that Jesus chose the GB in 1919. Did you provide objective evidence? No. Does having 120,000 congregations in 235 countries mean the leaders were chosen by Jesus? No! There are over 200,000 RC churches in almost every country in the world, so, according to your standard, that means that the RCC is the true church and the pope is the one Jesus chose. Does having a website in over 1000 languages mean the leaders were chosen by Jesus? No! The RCC provides people with their religious material in their own language too, so, according to your standard, that means the RCC is the true church and the pope is the one Jesus chose. These are _subjective_ reasons that *you* believe Jesus chose your leaders, they are not _objective_ reasons. Furthermore, even if I was convinced by your nonsense subjective evidence for the GB, it still doesn't show that Jesus chose them in 1919. I don't know if JWs are just ignorant and don't know the difference between subjective and objective evidence, or if they just don't care about evidence, but either way, your response validated my post. JWs cannot provide answers to questions that are asked.

Jehovah is not God's name. The following proves what His name really is. The Following Is Scriptural Proof Who Jesus Really Is And That He Is Much More Than Just The Son Of God. Paul said in Galatians 1:12 that he was not taught by any man but was taught by Jesus himself which means whatever Paul said was what Jesus told him to say. Paul said in 1 Timothy 3:16,"AND WITHOUT CONTROVERSY GREAT IS THE MYSTERY OF GODLINESS, GOD was manifest in the FLESH (Jesus), justified in the SPIRIT, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, and received up into glory." Paul said in 2 Corinthians 3:17,"Now the LORD IS THAT SPIRIT, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty." Jesus is speaking in Revelation 2:7,"He that has an ear, let him hear what the SPIRIT says to the churches...." And Paul said in Ephesians 4:4, "For there is one body, ONE SPIRIT....verse 5 ONE LORD, ONE Faith and ONE BAPTISM." Paul said in Colossians 2:8-10,"Beware lest any man fool you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 FOR IN HIM DWELLS ALL THE FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD BODILY." Jesus is not just part of the Godhead - Jesus IS the Godhead. Paul said in Hebrews 1:8,"But unto the SON he said, Thy throne O GOD is forever and ever...." Jesus said in Revelation 21:6-7,"And he said unto me (John) it is done, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I (Jesus) will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of life freely. 7 He that overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his GOD, and he shall be my SON." Paul said in Titus 2:13, "Looking for that blessed hope, and glorious appearance of the great GOD and our SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST." 1 John 5:20,"And we know that the SON of God is come, and has given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his SON Jesus Christ, THIS IS THE TRUE GOD, AND ETERNAL LIFE." Isaiah 9:6,"For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son (Jesus) is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful, THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, ..." Jesus said in Revelation 1:8, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, says the Lord, which is, which was, and is to come, THE ALMIGHTY." Jesus said in Revelation 2:7, "He that has an ear, let him hear what the SPIRIT says unto the Churches....." Jesus said in Mark 16:16, "He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be saved, but he that believes not shall be damned." Jesus addressed what damned means in Luke 16:19-31, Matthew 13:42, Matthew 25:41, Mark 9:45-46, Revelation 20:15, and Revelation 21:8. Jesus said in Matthew 28:19, "Go therefore and teach all nations BAPTIZING them in the name (SINGULAR name and not names) OF the Father, and OF the Son, and OF the Holy Ghost." Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are titles and not names. Every time Jesus disciples baptized anyone in water they invoked Jesus name at baptism which is Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:15, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7, Acts 18:8, Acts 19:3-5, and Acts 22:16. Peter said in Acts 4:12, "Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is NONE OTHER NAME under heaven given among men whereby we must be SAVED." Some say the thief on the cross next to Jesus was not Baptized yet Jesus told him he would be with him that day in Paradise. Jesus had not yet given the COMMANDMENT to be Baptized in His Name until after he rose from the dead and just before he ascended into heaven. The thief or anyone else could not have been Baptized in His Name because they did not know about it. There is not one scripture that says a person receives the Holy Ghost just because they are a believer. Acts 19:1-5 is a good example. If you are convinced you need to get Baptized in water in Jesus name and get Baptized with the Holy Ghost - which is addressed in Acts 2:4 (Pentecost), Acts 8:17, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, and Acts 19:3-5. I’d be careful if I were you to say YHWH (Yehowah/Jehovah) is not God’s name when He himself says it is. Isaiah 42:8. “I am Jehovah, that is my name.”-ASV You have no idea what you are talking about in Matthew 28:19 saying name is singular. The fact that the word “name” is singular is really irrelevant. This can be seen by citing examples like Genesis 48:16 which reads, “in the NAME of my fathers Abraham and Isaac.” (King James Version) Are Abraham, Isaac and Jacob one individual? C’mon. The expression “in the name of” really means “by the authority of” or “recognizing the position of.” Being baptized “in the name of the Father,” means accepting without question the sovereignty of God in our lives. Baptism “in the name of the Son,” means accepting Jesus as Redeemer, Exemplar, and King. And baptism “in the name of the holy spirit,” involves relying on the spirit and submitting to its power. It doesn’t mean the Father doesn’t have his own name. The Son does as well. (Revelation 14:1)

Worship and obeisance is the same Greek word pro·sky·neʹo. Proskyeo means to bow down. Bow down to a God or bow down to a king. Jesus Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords but not the Almighty God. So the bowing to Jesus is to a king, not God Almighty. Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess Jesus Christ is Lord (NOT God). So while Jesus is ruling as king with all authority in heaven (and earth), angels will bow before Jesus to pay homage. Translators that want to sell their bibles translate pro·sky·neʹo as worship. Jesus is called Son of God or Lord but he is never called Almighty God anywhere in scripture. The King James Version has the magi worshiping the baby Jesus. (Matthew 2:1-2) They were looking for the one born King of the Jews. Not God. Other translations use the words homage, bow, honor and adore. The King James Version goes all out to make it appear Jesus is God and to be worshiped. It is a deception. (1 Chronicles 29:20-23) David then said to all the congregation: “Now praise Jehovah your God.” And all the congregation praised Jehovah the God of their forefathers and bowed low and prostrated [Greek pro·sky·neʹo Septuagint] themselves to Jehovah and to the king. All at once bowing to Jehovah in worship and bowing to king David as lord. Bowing to Jesus as king of kings and lord of lords is not worship. Corruptions are in later manuscripts and in translations. Isaac Newton wrote about two corruptions in his work “An Historical Account of Two Notable Corruptions of Scripture.” First John 5:7 and First Timothy 3:16 See: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/An_Historical_Account_of_Two_Notable_Corruptions_of_Scripture The “I AM” is another trinitarian deception. John 8:56-58 (AV): “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am (egw eimi).” Later, in John 9:9, a formerly blind man also uses the expression egw eimi. It was just a normal way of saying "I am (he)," and is no marker of divinity. Otherwise, the formerly blind man would also be claiming Godship. Compare: biblehub.com/interlinear/john/8-58.htm biblehub.com/interlinear/john/9-9.htm Jesus reply had to do with his age, not his identity. According to many modern Bible translators Jesus was not claiming to be Jehovah God. Moffatt: “I have existed before Abraham was born.” Schonfield and An American Translation: “I existed before Abraham was born.” Stage (German): “Before Abraham came to be, I was.” Pfaefflin (German): “Before there was an Abraham, I was already there! George M. Lamsa, translating from the Syriac Peshitta, says: “Before Abraham was born, I was.” Dr. James Murdock, also translating from the Syriac Peshitto Version, says: “Before Abraham existed, I was.” The Brazilian Sacred Bible published by the Catholic Bible Center of São Paulo says: “Before Abraham existed, I was existing.”-2nd edition, of 1960, Bíblia Sagrada, Editora “AVE MARIA” Ltda Hebrew scholars who translated the Greek into the Bible Hebrew, as follows: Dr. Franz Delitzsch: “Before Abraham was, I have been.” Isaac Salkinson and David Ginsburg: “I have been when there had as yet been no Abraham.” The Greek Septuagint Version is a translation from Hebrew to Greek before the birth of Christ. Compare John 8:58 in Greek and Exodus 3:14 in the Greek Septuagint, and you will find that the Septuagint reading of Exodus 3:14 does not use the expression Egó eimí for God’s name, when God says to Moses: “I AM hath sent me unto you.” The Greek Septuagint uses the expression ho Ōn, which means “The Being,” or, “The One who is.” Trinitarians have no basis to argue Jesus is God from John 8:58 and Exodus 3:14. The KJV is a corruption. See: sahidicinsight.blogspot.com/2009/09/sahidic-coptic-john-558-and-sahidic.html How about Hebrews 1:8? The New World Translation is different from other translations. Which translation is correct? A former trinitarian that realized the trinity was false and is not a Jehovah's Witness explains it very well in his video: The Context Reveals the Truth kzbin.info/www/bejne/oauchaZ5lN5opc0 A false prophet turns worshipers from the true God to a god they have not known. Deut. 13:1-4: “In case a prophet or a dreamer of a dream arises in your midst and does give you a sign or a portent, and the sign or the portent does come true of which he spoke to you, saying, ‘LET US WALK AFTER OTHER GODS (Trinity Idol), WHOM YOU HAVE NOT KNOWN, AND LET US SERVE THEM,’ you must not listen to the words of that prophet or to the dreamer of that dream, because Jehovah your God is testing you to know whether you are loving Jehovah your God with all your heart and all your soul. After Jehovah your God you should walk, and him you should fear, and his commandments you should keep, and to his voice you should listen, and him you should serve, and to him you should cling.” The Jews have always rejected the trinity. They have never known a triune god. How did Christendom come to walk after other Gods? Would a religious leader that teaches others to serve any God other than the Father, Jehovah, be a false prophet if he includes other gods that he claims is equal to Jehovah? Trinitarians do say: "The Father is God, the Son is God, the holy spirit is God..." with no scripture that says he is 3 persons in 1 God. The bible says: But to us there is but one God, the Father... (1 Corinthians 8:6) … true worshipers will worship the Father with spirit and truth … (John 4:23) These trinitarian false prophets have been turning people away from the true God for almost 2,000 years.

In John 8, Jesus said to the Jewish leaders, "Unless you believe that I AM (εγω ειμι) you will die in your sins." This is a statement of IDENTITY. The Jewish leaders missed it the first time, they didn't understand his claim when he used the unpreticated “I AM,” and were expecting him to provide a predicate. This is obvious by their question: _“Who_ are you?”, which is a question of IDENTITY. This discourse goes back and forth. Finally, when Jesus said that Abraham rejoiced to see Jesus day, the Jews incredulously replied, "You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?" They are not actually asking a question about Jesus’ age, it is a rhetorical question used as a rebuke. It’s like saying, “Who do you think you are?” Jesus responds to this question with a statement of identity, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was (γενεσθαι), I AM (εγω ειμι)." Jesus was not simply saying that he existed before Abraham. He didn't say "I was" (ημην), but "I am" (εγω ειμι)-grammatically incorrect, theologically spot on! The unpredicated “I AM” is “intentionally unfinished, primarily because the statement is expected to be grasped by the listener/reader as an allusion to the identity of God (Exod 3). But the unfinished statement could have been finished by the Jews quite easily: ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ This verse parallels the Gospel’s first verse, ‘And the Word was God’ (1:1).”[1] Jesus was claiming to be Jehovah by appropriating to himself the self designation of God from passages like Deu 32:39 and Isa 43:10 (on this below), which are based on Exo 3:14. While JWs don’t seem to grasp Jesus’ statement, the Jews in the narrative clearly understood what he was saying; which is why they picked up stones to kill him for blasphemy (which was the “penalty for blasphemy [Lev 24:16]-blasphemy here is regarded as laying claim to the divine ineffable name.”)[2] Now, if a JW would like to argue that Jesus was simply claiming to preexist Abraham they have to explain the reaction of the Jews. If Jesus was simply claiming to be older than Abraham they would have laughed at Him and dismissed him as a crazy person (Jews didn’t kill people for being crazy). However, the reaction of the Jews demonstrates that they understood he was making a claim to deity. Why did they understand he was claiming to be Jehovah and picked up stones to kill him for blasphemy?? Because they knew their Bible! In Deu 32:39 in the LXX it says: “ιδετε ιδετε οτι εγω ειμι, και ουχ εστιν θεος πλην εμου” (Look! Behold, that I AM, and there is no God except me) and Isa 43:10 - "You are my witnesses," declares Jehovah, "and my servant whom I have chosen ινα γνωτε και πιστευσητε και συνητε οτι εγω ειμι” (that you might know and might believe and might understand that I AM). The Jews understood the claim Jesus was making. He was claiming to be Jehovah, co-equal in nature to Jehovah the Father. Furthermore, A similar Greek construction to John 8:58 is found in Ps 89:2 which says,“before the mountains were, you are.” In Greek it says, προ τοῦ ὄρη γενηθῆναι (“came to be”)… συ εἶ (“you are” the second-person equivalent of εγω ειμι). “The Greek sentence here reflects the same grammatical structure as John 8:58 and uses the same verbs to make the same contrast between that which is created and temporal and the one who is uncreated and eternal.”[3] John made this contrast in John 1 when he says that creation “came to be” (ἐγένετο), while the word eternally “was” (ἦν). As Murray Harris also says,“the timeless εἰμί points to the absolute, independent, and eternal existence of Jesus; it places Jesus ‘in God’s existence beyond time, in his eternal present’.”[4] The translators of the NWT understand the implications of this so they errantly translate εγω ειμι as a historical present, “I have been.” The NWT (1950 ed.) has a footnote that says, “It is not the same as ὁ ὤν (ho ohn’, meaning ‘The Begining’ or ‘The I Am’) at Exodus 3:14, LXX.” Dan Wallace points out that “this is a negative admission that if ἐγὼ εἱμί is _not_ a historical present, then Jesus is hear claiming to be the one who spoke to Moses at the burning bush, the I AM, the eternally existing One, Yahweh (cf. Exod 3:14 in the LXX, ἐγὼ εἱμι ὁ ὤν).”[4] Wallace demonstrates that there are several problems grammatically with seeing εγω ειμι as a historical present: 1) “historical presents are usually wedged in between aorist (or imperfect) _indicatives,_ not infinitives.” 2) This would be the only historical present in the NT that uses εἰμί. 3) This would be the only historical present in the NT that is not in third person. For these reasons, Wallace says “The burden of proof, therefore, lies with the one who sees εἰμί as _ever_ being used as a historical present.”[5] For this reason, the GB are now claiming that it is a “Present of Past Action still in Progress.” (Space precludes me from showing how this is erroneous as well.) JW’s will also object saying that εγω ειμι is used by people who were not claiming deity (cf. Joh 4:26, 9:9, etc.). This is correct, εγω ειμι “does not necessarily imply deity when it contextually implies, ‘I am (the one in question)’... [but] when ‘I am’ lacks even an implied predicate, however, it becomes unintelligible except as an allusion to God’s name in the Hebrew Bible or LXX….The absolute use of the expression in 8:58, contrasted explicitly with Abraham’s finite longevity, clearly refers to a Jewish name for God.”[6] Contextually, grammatically, and intertextually, there is no question that Jesus was claiming to be the “I AM” of Deu 32:39 & Isa 43:10, and Exo 3:14. In other words, Jesus claimed to be God. [1] Edward W Klink, John : Zondervan Exegetical Commentary on the New Testament (Grand Rapids, MI: Zondervan, 2016), ePub, 8:58.[2] Murray J. Can you show me one other place the NWT translates εγω ειμι as “I have been”? God is referred to as the “I AM,” as Bill Mounce points out, “The revelation of the name is related to the statement, ‘I AM WHO I AM’ (v. 14), where Moses is commanded to tell the Israelites that ‘I AM has sent me.’ Then, in verse 15, the divine name ‘Yahweh’ is connected to the God of the patriarchs where it is stated that this name, ‘Yahweh,’ is his ‘eternal name.’ The connection between ‘I AM’ and ‘Yahweh’” is one of verbal person. ‘I AM’ is the first person form of the verb ‘to be’ (hayâ; GK 2118; see be), while ‘Yahweh’ represents the third person form of the same verb, perhaps ‘HE IS’ or ‘HE WILL BE.’”[1] In Deuteronomy and Isaiah, God uses the simple εγω ειμι as a self-designation. If you’re going to argue that the obvious, straightforward interpretation is incorrect and that this is an example of irregular grammar, then the burden of proof is on you. You must demonstrate that Jesus is not claiming to be Yahweh in this passage. Jesus’ statement is not about age but identity, which is what the entire passage is about-read the context! In John 8:12 Jesus claims to be the light of the world. In v. 13 the Jews accuse Jesus of making an identity statement that they think isn’t true. In v. 18 Jesus claims that his Father testifies to his identity. In v. 19 Jesus tells the Jewish leaders that they don’t know who he is (identity). In v. 24 Jesus tells them, ‘if you don’t believe that I AM you will die in your sins.’ Jesus used εγω ειμι without a predicate which is what prompted the question from the Jews in v. 25, “who are you?” (identity). Jesus told them he was the same person he claimed to be from the beginning but doesn’t elaborate. In v. 38 Jesus makes another identity statement-his Father is God, their father is the Devil. The Jewish leaders make their own claims of identity-they are children of Abraham and God (vv. 39-47). Then they make an identity claim about Jesus-he is a Samaritan (v. 48). Jesus refutes that claim, making his own identity claims (vv. 49-52). The Jewish leaders are incredulous at his grandiose claims and ask Jesus if he is greater than Abraham, saying “WHO do you make yourself out to be?” (v. 53) A question of identity. Jesus says, ‘my identity is confirmed by the Father, whom you claim to know (identity) but don’t actually know him.’ (vv. 54-55). Then Jesus says, ‘Abraham rejoiced to see my day because he recognized who I am (identity). When did Abraham see Jesus? Even the Non-Christian Jewish scholar Daniel Boyarin recognizes that Jesus “clearly claims to have appeared to Abraham, presumably in the theophany at Mamre. Abraham, of course, rejoiced, received the Logos (Jesus) handsomely, and was saved.”[2] The Jews then ask, ‘how can you have seen Abraham if you’re not even 50 years old?’ Jesus responds by making an identity statement about who he is, saying ‘because I am Yahweh-the ever present one.’ In making a contrast with Abraham he makes an identity statement, which forms an inclusio to the Jewish leaders questions in vv. 25 & 53, “WHO are you?” You need to pay attention to the context. @@BasicBiblicalTruth Jesus’ statement identitfied himself as being there before Abraham was born. When the Jews said he is not 50 years old how can he say he was there before Abraham was born. I am or it was me or I am the one. The context is how can he say he was there before Abraham was born when he is not even 50 years old. The other context reveals Jesus is not God. If he glorifies himself his glory is nothing. How do your so-called experts explain that? In the beginning was the Word. The Word had a beginning. The Word was with God. The Word with God in the beginning. And the Word was A god. The beginning is not the beginning of creation. It is the beginning of the Word. What is making you think it is the beginning of creation is the way it is translated in some versions of the bible. If the Word was the same God he was with then you might think the beginning was the beginning of creation. The Sahidic Coptic text reflects an understanding of Scripture dating from before the fourth century, which was when the Trinity became official doctrine. The earliest translations of the Christian Greek Scriptures were into Syriac, Latin, and Coptic. Syriac and Latin, like the Greek of those days, do not have an indefinite article. Coptic, however, does. Those ancient translators realized that John’s words recorded at John 1:1 did not mean that Jesus was to be identified as Almighty God. The Word was a god, not Almighty God. Coptic John 1:1, Assumptions vs. Facts coptictruch.blogspot.com/ This is what it says in part: Nor did the Sahidic Coptic translators write "the Word was a god" out of ignorance of Greek grammar and syntax. Koine Greek was still a living language when the Sahidic Coptic translators did their work, and by then Greek had been a part of Egyptian culture for 500 years. If anything, it is likely that those Coptic translators had as good or better an understanding of the living Koine Greek as do scholars today. So trinitarian translators render John 1:1c as “the Word was God” to bolster their false doctrine. The true rendering of John 1:1c is “the Word was a God” so “In the beginning was the Word” means the Word had a beginning. After the Word was created we read: All things came into existence THROUGH him, and apart from him not even one thing came into existence. This is what we see at Colossians 1:15. He is the firstborn of all creation and THROUGH him all other things were created. The “other” is implied since the Word was created before anything else came into existence. In John 1:18 Jesus is referred to as the only-begotten god. Trinitarian translators hide this fact by translating it as only-begotten son but if you check the interlinear you will see: biblehub.com/interlinear/john/1-18.htm How can the Father, Son and holy spirit be one God if that one God is an only-begotten god? The Father is not an only-begotten god. The holy spirit is not an only-begotten god. There must be more than one god. Jesus must be 'a' god as the true rendering of John 1:1 states. Where is the trinity formula stated in the bible? Some trinitarians use to point to 1John 5:7-8 but that is a corruption now admitted by trinitarians. Some trinitarians point to Matthew 28:19 but it does not say they are three persons in one god. And it does not say they equal in eternity, power, position, and wisdom. It is only found in a man-made creed. The Athanasian Creed defines the Trinity. There is no reference to this creed in completed form until hundreds of years later!. Athanasius had been dead for five hundred years when it appeared.

Ridiculers in “the Last Days.” One feature of the sign marking “the last days” would be “ridiculers [literally, players in sport (of mocking)] with their ridicule, proceeding according to their own desires [“own desires for ungodly things”; Jude 17, 18] and saying: ‘Where is this promised presence of his? Why, from the day our forefathers fell asleep in death, all things are continuing exactly as from creation’s beginning.’” (2Pe 3:3, 4) Obviously, such ones do not heed the advice of Isaiah 28:21, 22, warning of the grave danger of scoffing at Jehovah.

Jesus' words should settle any doubt as to who only should be worshiped. (Matthew 4:10) Then Jesus said to him: “Go away, Satan! For it is written: ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and IT IS TO HIM ALONE you must render sacred service.’” This was in response to Satan asking Jesus to do an act of worship toward him. The 'TO HIM ALONE' is obvious. It excludes Satan and Jesus. The word worship which is the Greek proskuneō is used regarding many individuals in the Bible. Mt. 18:26 - So the slave fell down and "proskuneō" him (ie the King) Ac. 10:25 - And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and "proskuneō" him. Various translations use words such as homage, bow down, repect etc for the Greek word for WORSHIP. However, as Jesus pointed out, Worship regarding sacred Service should only be Given Jehovah.

How does Jesus' citation exclude Jesus? So Jesus said that only God is to receive our proskuneo. Peter refused to accept proskuneo from people, the angel in Rev 19:10 refused to accept proskuneo, but Jesus accepted people's proskuneo. Why? Because Jesus is God. Does Jesus receive sacred service? Yes, he does! And there will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His slaves will serve Him; (Rev. 22:3 LSB). Now the antecedent of αὐτῷ can be both the Father and the Son (the Lamb), but it must be at least the Son (the Lamb). Who do Christians serve? We serve the Lord Jesus, from whom we will receive a reward (Col 3:24). The GB are false teachers "do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By their smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of the naive." (Rom. 16:18 NET) But Jim and Matt do not comprehend these things because they are children of the devil and blinded by him. If they were children of God they would believe that Jesus is God, but they will confess themselves that they are not born again (children of God).

In Exo 24:1, Jehovah says, "Go up to Jehovah." HERE ARE ALSO SOME QUESTIONS I BET YOU CAN'T ANSWER. ..1 Corinthians 11 v 3 says THE HEAD OF EVERY MAN IS CHRIST, THE HEAD OF THE WOMAN IS THE MAN, AND THE HEAD OF CHRIST IS GOD, SO IF THE HOLY SPIRIT IS A PERSON, WHO IS HE THE HEAD OF? # 2, IF JEHOVAHS NAME WAS NOT REMOVED FROM THE BIBLE, HOECOME, AT PSALS 83 verse 18 in some KING JAMES VERSION BIBLES it says JEHOVAH AND OTHERS SAY THE LORD? I HAVE a King James version Bible in my hand right now that says at Psalms 83 v 18, THAT MEN MAY KNOW,THAT YOU ALONE WHOSE NAME IS JEHOVAH ARE THE MOST HIGH OVER ALL THE EARTH, and another one say WHOSE NAME IS THE LORD. THE LORD IS NOT A NAME, IT IS A TITLE. #3 IN REVERLATIONS IT SAYS THERE ARE MANY GODS AND MANY LORDS IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH SO ARE THESE GODS and LORDS , TRUE GODS and TRUE LORDS, or FALSE GODS and FALSE LORDS? #4, At Matthew 7 v 21 the King James version Bible says, NOT ALL SAYING LORD, LORD WILL BE SAVED, And at ROMANS 10 v 13 it says ALL WHO CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED. Which one is the truth? #5, WE KNOW THAT JESUS ROSE UP IN THE AIR AND DISAPPEARED THROUGH THE CLOUDS ON HIS WAY TO HEAVEN, Acts 1 v 9, IF SOMEONE IS GOING TO HELL, WHICH DIRECTION WILL THEY GO?

What do they achieve? Opening the hearts and minds of people so they can see the flaws in the JW religion. Jim with all due respect, I hope you realize you're proving my point. This content exposes the false teaching of the religion, by addressing contradictions within their own doctrine. This is how you come to the truth of the matter, investigation. If the doctrines and what the Bible says do not harmonize, something is wrong, and it aint the Bible. This is why we have courts, and testimonies, analysts, investigators, lawyers etc. Are you saying I shouldn't ask these questions? If a Witness comes to my door, should I just accept everything they say without investigation, and avoid tough question? If you think I'm wrong, feel free to respond to these questions. You can leave a comment, or if you want to talk about it, just shoot me an email. Just gonna be honest, your responses are Ad hominem attacks, and it shows you don't believe you can answer these questions, it's upsetting, so your response is to accuse me of being this terrible person wasting me time, instead of defending your faith, very contrary to 1 Peter 3:15. Is this the behavior of Jehovah's Witnesses? I honestly hope you prove me wrong. @@jimjuri6490

Question #1: If Jehovah's name is removed why believe any of the Bible? Answer: The original King James Bible written in 1611 removed God's name from the Bible. 407 years later, in the year 2018, the King James Bible was updated and put Jehovah's name back in 6,792 scriptures where it rightfully belongs. It is called the "DIVINE NAME KING JAMES BIBLE." DNKJB. Are they wrong? If Jehovah allowed His name to be taken away He knew when the time is right He can always put it back. Question #2: What evidence is there Jesus chose the slave in 1919? Answer: Unless you can calculate the dates and numbers of the Scriptures involved in 1919, you will never know. Here are the dates and numbers: The coming of the Messiah will take seven weeks, and sixty two weeks - DANIEL 9:25-26 "A thousand and two hundred and sixty days." REVELATION 12:6 "A time, and times, and half a time." REVELATION 12:14 Even Daniel did not understand what Jehovah commanded him to write but Jehovah told Daniel to write it down anyway because it may not be for Daniel's time but for the end times. Besides even Jesus said not all his followers will understand his teachings. No matter how hard Jehovah's Witnesses try to explain, you will not understand anyway. Question #3: Why don't you worship Jesus, all creatures do? Answer: Jesus himself told his followers very clearly that those who worship him instead of worshiping his Father become his enemies. MATTHEW 7:21-23 Question #4: Who is your mediator? Answer: "There is only one mediator between God and man. Jesus Christ." 1 TIMOTHY 2:5 "Now there is no mediator where only one person is concerned, but God is only one." GALATIANS 3:20 Question #5: Has the Org ever taught anything incorrect? Answer: The Bible has all the answers to all your questions. So you are the one who teach what is incorrect. Question #6: If so important, why didn't Jesus use Jehovah? Answer: Jesus did pray to Jehovah to make His name, Jehovah, known. And Jehovah answered Jesus' prayer and said He will glorify His name, and many people heard it. In turn Jesus told his followers that His Father's answer to his prayer was for them to hear. JOHN 12:28-30 Not only did Jesus pray to his Father to glorify His name but Jesus also taught his disciples that when praying they must first pray for the Father's name to be hallowed and sanctified, first, before praying for anything else. LUKE 11:1-2. Jesus always pray to his Father JOHN 17:1. Before Jesus was killed "he pleaded to his Father with tears and outcries to save him from death." Jehovah did hear Jesus' plea and saved Jesus from death by resurrecting him back to life, because of his "obedience." HEBREWS 5:7-9 In turn those who do not "obey" Jesus will not benefit from his sacrificial death and everlasting life. JOHN 3:36 Question #7: Don't understand the question.

Answer #1: The original King James Bible written in 1611 removed God's name from the Bible. Fact: This is factually untrue what you said. This was a Septuagint tradition, going back over 2000 years, because the divine name’s characters YHWH are Hebrew in nature, and do not translate to greek. All early manuscripts have “LORD” instead of YHWH. Answer #2: "A thousand and two hundred and sixty days." REVELATION 12:6 "A time, and times, and half a time." REVELATION 12:14 Fact: It is the “Faithful Slave” who claiming these scripture are related, but they are unrelated. Creating prophecies about yourself, doesn’t make you a prophet. I can do this too, anyone can. Doesn’t make it true. Answer #3: Jesus himself told his followers very clearly that those who worship him instead of worshiping his Father become his enemies. MATTHEW 7:21-23 Fact: That is not what Matthew 7:21-23 is saying in any way. You seriously need to be careful, and read the scripture carefully. It is a sin to say a scripture is saying something it isn’t. You also didn’t answer the question. All creatures will worship Jesus, as Scripture says, why don’t you? Answer #4: "There is only one mediator between God and man. Jesus Christ." 1 TIMOTHY 2:5 "Now there is no mediator where only one person is concerned, but God is only one." GALATIANS 3:20 Fact: More than one. God Mediator Mankind. Also, again, you didn’t answer the question. Who is your mediator? Answer#5: The Bible has all the answers to all your questions. So you are the one who teach what is incorrect. Fact: Again, That’s not an answer. The answer is yes. Hundreds of doctrines are radically changed. Charles russel, Rutherford, and Fredrick Franz would all be labeled apostates comparing their beliefs that they taught as truth, and the “truths” the current slave preaches. All these men and more, for the past 120 years, claimed their words “accurate knowledge” Answer #6: Jesus did pray to Jehovah to make His name, Jehovah, known. And Jehovah answered Jesus' prayer and said He will glorify His name, and many people heard it. In turn Jesus told his followers that His Father's answer to his prayer was for them to hear. JOHN 12:28-30 Fact: You really need to read the Bible, as nothing said here is what the gospel’s teach. Jesus came to seek and save the lost, and die for the sins of man. He did NOT teach people to use God’s name, he instead taught them to treat God as their Father, pushing for the personal relationship. Making his the phonetic name known, to the Jews, who already knew God’s name, is silly. Name, as in nature and character, that God fulfills his promise, the promise of the messiah.. There is only one name under heaven by which we are saved, and one name above all other names. It is the name of Jesus we call out to for salvation. Question #7: Don't understand the question. Fact: And this breaks my heart. Do you talk to Jesus? Do you cry out to him? Do you lean on him for hope, peace, salvation, joy, confidence, is he the anchor for your soul? Going back to Matthew 7:21-23, what is actually being said, It’s not enough to know about Jesus, but you have to know him personally. You can learn facts about Jesus, but do you have his number in your phone? ( poetically speaking ) Jesus knows the heart of everyone ( rev 2:23), he is the one who will resurrect us ( John 6:40), he knows all of us. For him to say “I never knew you” He knows who we are, all of us. It’s knowing on a personal level. It is impossible for a JW to have a relationship with Jesus, because they are forbidden to speak with him. You think I’m wrong, I can give you some watchtower links. I say this with Love, the fact that you didn’t understand this question, should scare you, make you think, and consider you have been deceived by false teachers. Michelle, I know you probably love being a Jehovah’s Witness, but you have been lied to. Go check out my other content, doctrine by doctrine, and you’ll see.

@@jahtruthdefender Thanks for the reply, but that is not what I’m presenting. I trust the Bible, after deep evaluation. I’m pointing out the JW contradiction. The argument from Witnesses, is that there was a conspiracy to remove the name. Firmly believing all manuscripts were corrupted by apostate Christians, while at the same time believing the Bible hasn’t been corrupted. The question can’t be answered, because agreeing with either side, disagrees with the other. So, I’ll ask you, has the Bible been corrupted, yes or no.

@@LightoverDarkMinistry : I believe Google can help. It were the Jewish scribes who took God's name out and replaced it with titles. Even today, many Jews refer to God using a substitute HaShem. @@timd3895 : Th subject was God's name. Who alone declare God's name in all the earth. The Witness that God has raised in these last days. Isaiah 43:10. Jesus asked his disciples to be his witnesses to witness that Jesus was the promised Messiah. Acts 1:8. Acts 3:15 whereas you killed the Chief Agent of life. But God raised him up from the dead, of which fact WE ARE WITNESSES. Jesus himself is a JW. Revelation 1:5 and from Jesus Christ, “the Faithful Witness,” John 17:25 Righteous Father, .... these have come to know that YOU SENT ME. 26 I HAVE MADE YOUR NAME KNOWN to them and will make it known, God is indeed the one who saves. But he uses various individuals to carry it out. 2 Kings 13:5 So Jehovah provided Israel with a savior to free them from Syria’s grip, Just matching the word savior would make plenty of people and angels into God. Thomas never meant that Jesus himself was God. On realization that Jesus was an ANGEL from God his saying is understandable. If Jesus himself was God everyone would have been flat on their faces unable to look God in the face (Exodus 33:20). Ever heard of people behaving in some casual manner in the presence of God?
