Here are some important facts that most people don’t know about. The Corporation, aka the organization of the JW created their first custom made new world translation “bible” in 1950, which contained the NT. The KJV that they were using before then was giving them a lot of problems, which is why they needed cease all use of the KJV, and to create their very own custom made “bible,” which had drastic changed all in which were done to support their key doctrines. Over the years they came up with the many Newer Revised Editions, one of which was the first complete nwt that contained the OT and NT in 1961. Since then newer revised editions have came out. Here are the rest of their New Revised Editions in order: 1970, 1971, 1981, 1984, 2013… all of which contained more and more changes like verses removed, words removed, words changed, new words added, commas and periods moved around, verses restructured, parts of chapters removed, etc.

We are encouraged to read the Bible everyday, and we have many scriptures quoted in our publications, so we read and learn from the Bible a lot. Especially if we do our own personal study :D

For example: When your first president Charles Taze Russell falsely predicted that Armageddon would arrive in October 1914, was your religion "The Truth" then? When Russell had no choice but to move Armageddon to April 1918 (to buy some additional time), was your religion "The Truth" then? After Russell's death, when your second president (Joseph Rutherford) was forced to move Armageddon to 1925 (to buy even more time), was your religion "The Truth" then? When Rutherford then firmly declared that "Millions Now Living Will Never Die", was your religion "The Truth" then? (Note: less than 400,000 humans that were alive worldwide when Rutherford drclared this are still alive today) When Rutherford then declared (in 1935) that the number of anointed had already reached 144,000, was your religion "The Truth" then? Beginning in 1966, when your 4th president Frederick Franz and several of his District Overseers began to strongly suggest (in at least 8 District Conventions) that Armageddon would probably arrive in the fall of 1975 but not much later than that year, was your religion "The Truth" then? When the Awake! magazine (May 22 1969 page 15) warned teenagers that they will "never grow old in this present system of things" [and would, therefore] "never fulfill any career that this system offers", was your religion "The Truth" then? When the Watchtower magazine (January 1, 1989) falsely predicted that Armageddon would arrive before the turn of the century (before the year 2000), was it "The Truth" then? (Note: don't bother looking in the JW library... they quietly changed the wording to read "in our day") In 2013, when David Splane of your governing body blatantly changed the definition of the "Generation That Shall Not Pass" to now mean TWO (2) Overlapping Generations, was your religion "The Truth" then? In March 2020 (well over 1,500 days ago) when Stephen Lett of your governing body made the firm declaration (on JW Broadcasting) that "we're living in the final part of the Last Days - undoubtedly the final part of the final part of the Last Days - shortly before the last day of the Last Days", was your religion "The Truth" then? In 2064 (40 years from now) when you're sitting in another Regional Convention listening to another talk re-assuring you that Armageddon is still just around the corner, will you finally wake up then? I'm just asking.

@@alfred5048 I do not know much about the certain parts you mentioned, but I do know what we teach and believe now. In the past I know many people believed they knew the exact time of Armageddon, which didn't happen, causing them to break off from jws in frustration. But we are taught from the Bible that we don't know exactly when it will happen, nor should we try and guess at the date. The reason we call this the end of the last days is because of what's happening in the world. We turn to 2 Timothy 3:2-5 and Matthew 24:6,7 which describes what the world would be like in the last days, perfectly depicting our world now. Especially with all the horrible reports of wars that are on a much larger scale than when the Bible was written. And it describes what people would be like in the end very accurately
