An awesome way to make your own Cotton stems (in case DT runs out or they are hard to find elsewhere) is using cotton balls and the dry potpourri that comes in a bag which you can get at Dollar Tree or anywhere else... It's usually scented & DT has vanilla which is what I use. I take out all the ones that look like slices of fruit that dried out, lol, I don't know what they are called, but they have a pointy end and are brown... But if you take 4 of those and 4 cotton balls & start gluing a cotton ball onto each side of one of the dried fruit looking thing, then glue a dried fruit thing to the cotton balls you glued on each side of the dried fruit thing and keep going til you glued all 4 to make a round cotton boll I think they are called... Lol, it's really hard to describe it but if you know what the cotton stems look like just use the dried things from the dollar tree potpourri and cotton balls to make it... And you can either stick a twig in the center to make a stem, or glue it to a wreath like that, or even use wire and floral tape for a stem it comes out awesome either way and I know this bc I've tried all ways! Lol!

Wreaths are you favorite thing to make! These were lovely! I have a black door! So most of those wreaths would look perfect! I make wreaths for all seasons & give them as gifts for my friends. I loved the Home sign! I’m not into the “farmhouse rustic” trend for the most part-I like brighter colors, and some tasteful bits of sparkle. So I’m excited to finally see a DT DIY that I can adapt for my own style, instead of just endless milk cans, red trucks, etc. (It’s hard when you’re not that into current trends, lol.) It all looks nice, though, and that last wreath was especially beautiful!

Megan when you glue down fabric with the spray or mod podge ball up a piece of plastic wrap and use that to smooth it out! Works amazing on the wrinkles and doesn't stick one bit

Just a suggestion for the swag... use a dollar tree ruler cut in half. You can then hot glue or even staple down the sprigs of greenery and cotton. You can paint the ruler to blend in with the colors you are using. Great ideas as usual!

Glad I found your video.. I just bought 4 4 ft. long fall strands of leaves, 3 different kinds at Goodwill at $99 a piece, and now I know what to make . It's a little late, but I haven't done any decorating for fall.. They had a huge barrel of these strand's, some with berries and some with cone's, such a great find..
