For Apna Desi street food, Birmingham is the best. From Coventry Road, Alum Rock Road, Stratford Road and Ladypool Road - these places have the best Desi street food imaginable. I love coming to Birmingham from Nottingham which is 45 miles away and less than an hour drive. Just before Ramadan, I came back from a holiday in Portugal (Madeira, to be precise) landing at Birmingham International Airport and straight from there we went to Stratford Road to get some street snacks as it only takes 15/20 minutes from the airport along the A45 on a nice, clear day,, ate the desi snacks in the car and then drove home to Nottingham

@@DanishVlogsster I come to Birmingham frequently - on average 3 times a month, also lived in Birmingham for a couple of years long time ago. Plus it is pretty close to Nottingham. So I know Birmingham has the best desi food having been to many of these places for the last 30 years. Leicester is great for Gujarati/South Indian cuisine and about 30 minutes drive from Nottingham so I am very lucky that I have Birmingham and Leicester close by but to be fair Nottingham has a lot of desi food places compared to other cities like Bristol, Liverpool, Newcastle , Stoke, Southampton, Portsmouth so I can get a lot of these street food here in Nottingham too but nowhere near the level like Birmingham. After Birmingham, I will say Bradford is the next best place as well as Ilford or Southall in London
