Loved it G as always. Your enthusiasm is a wonderful thing. As is your relationship with Lucy, it is obvious you are meant for each other. And at 5:24 when you were bouncing on the seat...squishy boobieees!! Sorry, I know its corny but I couldnt resist. Blame it on my age.

Another great video G, and great to see you on my local rail network again! I don't know if you are aware, but when you are getting off a 777 you can press the button to open the door before it goes green. You can even press it before the train stops, and the door will still open.

Remember visiting F.... Former Simonswood Station a wild G appeared. That when you were doing the North West Series that was ages ago! But was easier to visit them in order from the starting point than going back and forth like a headless chicken with their knickers around their neck as they got no head! lol Great video.

Great vlog G, Back to my old stomping ground, nice to see you on the 'scary' Merseyrail underground, to be fair you didn't look that scared anymore. Nice views across the Mersey to the Wirral and Hilbre Island is a stop off for winter wildfowl and wading birds, you can walk to the islands at low tide (takes about an hour) Nice to see you got to ride some Busy Bees but it will be a sad day when the last of the PEP's make their final journey (It was the same when the 502's/503's where replaced by the PEP's)

Hi G , great to see you in West Kirby . As you love parks we have a really nice park here called Ashton park with ducks and geese on a large lake. The track bed of the West Kirby to Hooton branch line runs through the park. This is called the Wirral country park. You might like to visit sometime. It would have made a wonderful preserved railway but is now enjoyed by walkers , cyclists and horse riders and is a haven for wild life. Thanks for your videos as I've always loved trains too.

Hooton , Rock Ferry and one of the Birkenhead ones can't remember which are the most interesting ones on the Wirral as they have mysterious tracked platforms which don't seem to be in passenger use although I have read some really early ones use the Rock Ferry bays.

Those 777's are very smart - I do like the design of those. Very modern. Nice to see a bit of the Wirral too as my folks used to have friends there, and were frequent visitors to that corner of Merseyside. I do like Liverpool, and I'm glad you and Lucy enjoyed your Merseyrail adventure!

The class 507s and 508s are so much better than the 777s, the 777s are not only uncomfortable but their reliability has been so bad recently that they've made it into the Liverpool echo
@nigelkthomas9501 Жыл бұрын
The seating isn’t quite as bad as Thameslink! One issue I always have right moan at is the lack of tables. Why can’t a proper standard layout be provided? Comfy seating with plenty of padding and seating with tables that align with the windows. There always seems to be far more focus on the less necessary aspects like plug-in sockets, wi-fi and accessibility. It’s tantamount to decorating a cake that’s not been cooked properly.

i dont know about reliability but the 777s are so mich more comfortable than the 50X

Which Merseyrail train do you prefer. The Class 507, Class 508 or the new Class 777 that Stadler built for Merseyrail. I have to say that the Class 777 are very nice modern trains and it’s about time that Merseyside needed new trains to improve better services. And to accommodate more extra passengers who use Merseyrail and live In Merseyside. Plus the weather looks really nice and calm.

It's the Wirral Peninsula. Wirral comes from Old English and refers to trees that once grew in the area.
