Recently my wife noticed that my eyes were like those of wildlife rehabber on KZbin. He has central heterochromia with the same colours in the centre and the outer ring. Before this I no term for my eye colour as it can change with different lighting conditions. The only actor we've seen so far with this colour combination is Harry Lloyd and only because he had a close closeup in a Dr. Who episode. Colours -> Centre: amber Outer: varies between warm and cool green depending on the light. I think it has to do with the way light is scattered in the low melanin outer ring.

I have dark brown eye's that can sometimes change and vary to a bright amber almost gold like color I also have a multi color ring that blends from grayish to purplish tho blue with hints of green, they were mainly brown when I was younger and didn't have a real noticeable ring, but about 8 years ago (in my mid 30's) I had some corrosive cleaner sprayed in my eyes (no permanent damage) less than a month later at a concert multiple people commented after a few I had to go to the toilet to look in the mirror, that was the first time I know of my eyes not being dark brown.

4:01 Im not kidding. Several years ago I was teaching a year 8 class in Melbourne Australia, when I was shocked to notice the eyes of a young man sitting in the front row. He had the most spectacular eyes Ive ever seen and must have been a genetic glitch. He had a lovely dark blue eye colour like a navy but the limbal ring was light blue!!!! Emerald green...which I really do have. My eyes are hazel and have changed colors. In my 20's they turned green. Went back to hazel after a few years. In my 50's they turned blue. Now in my 60's they are still blue but are changing back to hazel. I went to the doctor and he said it was normal for hazel eyes to change color. Can I control how they change by what I eat?

I have central heterochromia with dark silver eyes with light gold rings. My Mom had light green eyes with copper rings, my aunt has dark green eyes with chocolate rings, another aunt has light blue eyes with hazel rings, my grandmother had light silver eyes with yellow rings... I'd say it runs in my family. All of us had spots of sectoral heterochromia, or partial heterochromia. Only one great aunt had complete heterochromia, my grandmother's sister, with one green and one blue eye. My mother's side is Native American, DNA tested... and yes we look it, lol. Great vid.

Is Silver Eyes the ((new)) Grey Eyes?!👀 When I was a kid, I was told that I had Hazel Eyes like my mother, so I never questioned this for most of my life, and would always put down for my Drivers License and things like that, every time that I had Hazel Eyes, but now that I’m older, I finally took the time to actually look at my eyes, believe it or not they turned out to be a Grey Eyes like my grandmothers!
