Love your videos! I'm looking into getting an rb25 for my 280z soon and rebuild it like you did, just wondering where you got your rb25?? Keep up the good work! 👍

Are you planning on replacing the oil pan? Mine is dented just like that, was thinking of taking it off and putting a new one on even though I'm not having any problems. Didn't expect to see it stuck on so well like that.

+Drinky Crow I might... depends if it clears my sway bar or not. I've read that there may be clearance issues
@LosingandMakingExcuses8 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the other few RB swaps I've seen have a dent from sitting into the sway bar. Mine has like maybe an inch or two clearance but my hood will scrap the engine on occasion so I think it's sitting kind of high overall.

+Drinky Crow oh OK. What engine mounts are you using?

Do you happen to recall the size and length of the bolts needed to put the rb on the engine stand?

Rubber belt, Iron block? I think I'm liking my SR20DET a lot better.

Iron block and timing belts are superior to the pathetic aluminum block of the SR. Remember the RB started a engine designed for a performance car while the SR20 was an engine out of an economy car Nissan decided to strap a turbo on and put in the Silvia. They should've stayed with the CA18.
