When listening to the "front" simulation, it didn't sound that well to me, however, up down and behind were surprisingly good. It's still interesting enough for me to want to get my hands on it and add it to my tracks.

You can experiment with different room presets to find a sound that you like. It's also possible to control the dimensions of the room, the reflectiveness of each surface, and to filter the reflections; these are all a matter of preference. It all depends on your ear shape, the colouration footprint of your ear may not match the digital colouration footprint of the plugin used, if, they were to have a user menu to change the footprint so that it could be changed to match your own footprint it would be like as if you were there, with everything external to your head, and you could close your eyes and point to where the sound was coming from... maybe one day someone like these guys will make it happen.

You can put both on the same mix. Just render the stereo info and the binaural info separately and then recombine in mastering. It works great.

The auto panning feature is awesome heck yeah. Logic Pro has built in Atmos mixing but this tool is welcome to compete with Dolby Atmos plugins.

The stereo sounded so much tighter in a good way especially Bass and drums... And the important transients... The tech is cool.... But you'd have to be really careful when moving music. Atmos Is the one that's being required by Apple!

Analogue binaural microphones do the same job in a stereo channel, though you have to layer the recordings as they are recorded in real time. Though, digital algorithms are coming on in leaps and bounds, as shown here.

It does indeed. However, THX Spatial Creator makes immersive audio available to everyone, regardless of their DAW. It's also easy to use and integrates into the traditional mixing workflow that music producers are already used to.

The bass line in the first compasion stereo/binaural was almost gone in the binaural version, lost all of its definition.

WHY do I need Head Phones to Hear the Spatial Sound created by ths THX PLUGIN when I have the EXPENSIVE hardware. I can only wear Head phones for a short wile as they make my ears sweet and itch.

Does the binaural translate to a Dobly Atmos apon export or do we still have to make a proper Atmos mix?

Mixes are not encoded to a Dolby Atmos format when using THX Spatial Creator. The beauty of this plugin is that it allows you to create immersive audio mixes that are rendered as normal stereo files. You can upload these mixes to all streaming platforms, which is not the case with Dolby Atmos mixes. For example, Spotify does not currently allow you to upload Dolby Atmos mixes, but you can upload binaural immersive audio mixes made with THX Spatial Creator. When you listen to a binaural immersive audio mix with ANY pair of headphones, you'll be able to hear the 3D elements.

@@le_beatbox We don't have anything planned at the moment, but our development plans are always subject to change based on user interest. THX Spatial Creator provides a simple approach to easily add elements of immersive audio to mixes that are accessible to everyone with headphones. Creating a Dolby Atmos mix is a much more involved process that requires users to adopt a new workflow. Many music producers may not want to spend the additional time creating a separate Dolby Atmos mix, especially if only a portion of their audience have the proprietary hardware to listen to it. THX Spatial Creator provides a leg up in terms of ease of use, the time it takes to create an immersive audio mix, and the accessibility of the mix itself.

@@PluginAllianceTV Suggestion: I don't know if it will be possible but it would be great if this plugin could communicate with the Dolby Renderer (Native and Standalone). In my head, this would give the best of both worlds where you can render/export multiple formats from a single project.
