Great video as always. You're spot on with all the reasons. I haven't flown my Mini 3 Pro or Air 2S since I picked up my Air 3 two months ago. Wind resistance turned out to be the game changer for me. The Air 3 and joining your Flying Film Maker Course have been my best drone investments.

Air 3. Or actually maybe wait for the Air 3S that looks from leaks to be coming out in the next couple months. I think you'll miss the wind resistance (and maybe speed?) from your Typhoon on the Mini 4 Pro.

Check out my video comparing it to the Air 2S. It’s not quite, but the noise is less annoying than the Air 2

I got my Air 3 in February and absolutely love it. It’s everything I need in a drone. I’d recommend if you’re interested to wait until the upgrade comes out. But the price of the Air 3 is coming down so if you’re not willing to pay the upgrade price, you won’t be disappointed in the Air 3.

Yep it's a great drone! The A3S should be coming soon per leaks. Looks like it'll have a bigger sensor for the wide cam at least. So I'd say definitely will be a great upgrade.

Was debating between a Mini 4 Pro and the Air 3...used to own a Mavic 2 Pro which I absolutely adored. This video made the decision so much easier! I didn't know the Air 3 was the zippiest, I thought it was the Mavic 3. Anyways, amazing work on these videos, keep it up!

I'm jealous of this drone, bought an Evo lite+ about 3 months before this drone was released, awesome drone no real complaints, but only 2 firmware updates in the year I've had it. The air3 has had quite a bit more firmware updates, any drone I buy in the future is definitely gonna be DJI..

Yeah DJI drones are great! They do push out updates a lot more frequently. I’ve only used DJI drones for the most part because they’re just the best value overall.

Maybe you can help me. I want to use the mini 4 pro or the air 3 mainly to compliment my other cams for motovlogging. I mainly want one of these for awesome shots, but I also don't want to over spend. I was seriously considering the newer Hoverair x1 pro max but the price compared to mini 4 pro and air 3 makes me think i should just stick with dji. Other than that, it will be just vids and pics of my city for b-roll in my vids.

What I would like to see on the new Air3S 1.Full sky capture for Panoramas 2. 4 / 5g option 3. Usb C socket in the batteries 4. Bracketing for Panoramas 5. Dolly zoom Features 6. Interchangeable camera 7. Gimbal lens hood 8. Active automatic retractable Gimbal protection 9. Solid-state batteries Graphine, maybe 10. Insta360 Sphere compatibility. 11.The ability to use it as a handheld stabilised camera. 12. Built in silent fan. 13.The ability to shoot 6k AKA 5.6k video 14. A 3 stage rate switch, which would change the sensitivity of the sticks. 15. Film presets similar to the Fujifilm camera's 16. A RYYB Cameras with sensors. Well I am just dreaming of course 😂

You really DON'T get a lot of other upgrades with the Mavic. The Mavic has 7x, it's not as good as the other sensors. It has adjustable aperature, but only on the main lens, and you're gonna be using NDs anyways. It's slightly bigger, but the Air 3 is still more powerful and has the same wind resistance anyways. It has the Pro controller but it's really much different than the newer O4 RC2 with the Air 3. It's got a 1" sensor, but the hardware and software with the Air 3 and it's 1/1.3 sensor is comparable. It's sensor is 20mp, but the Air can do a pseudo-48mp image. Then you get better performance, flight time, more antennas, better transmission system, in a slightly more compact size, and at half the price with the Air 3. The Air 3 also has more built in features/functions in the firmware. The Air 3, I feel is a pretty objectively superior drone. By that I mean the DRONE, as in the airframe and hardware/software in it. The Camera module, eh, the Mavic 3 Pro definitely seems superior on paper. In practice, the output is pretty competitive, and the aperature, 7x, and 5.7k are features that you won't really miss and don't use all that much. 4k is perfectly good, aperature on a drone isn't nearly as useful or necessary as in a mirror less camera, and 7x is just a need novelty and an aid to navigation or targeting. Most work will be done eith the 1x and 3x. Don't get me wrong, the extras are COOL, but not for 2x the cost, plus some other downgrades and on an older gen drone and occusync tech. There are pros and cons, and for that reason I feel like the Air 3 and Mavic should be withing a similar price point. It's funny because it feels skewed as if the Mavic is OVER priced for what you get, and the Air is UNDER priced for what you get.

as the title says...it's your favorite...but that doesn't mean it shoots the best...comparing with the Mavic 3 classic...the quality of the videos...especially the ones at night...it doesn't excel in this chapter .. washed out and dull colors compared to a Dji Mavic 3 which is older than her

I agree it’s just MY favorite. I didn’t claim it’s objectively the best drone out there. That would probably go to some 100K plus cinelifter drone rig. And even then, it’s not the best drone for some people because some people need a small portable drone not a huge one that takes an hour to get flying. 😀
