Good Points, some things I never thought of. To take better care of clothes and make them last longer, I never put some articles of clothing in the dryer and wash in cold water; it keeps them from fraying and fading. It is imperative to find a good barber which can be surprisingly hard to do. One thing that makes a guy a standout is a great haircut and nicely trimmed facial hair (if you have any).

A lot of this depends on where you live. Minneapolis is not NYC, or LA. It doesn't take very much effort in the "Twin Cities" to be one of the best dressed in any room. Around here, dressing up is wearing two hoodies. Regardless of where you live, however, the one tip I would offer is. "Don't buy cheap". I'm not suggesting that you spend $200 on shoes, $200 on a cashmere sweater, $125 on chino's, or even $85 on a polo shirt. What I am suggesting is to do a little homework, try shopping "factory outlet" brands, and slightly higher end stores. Above all, make sure your shoes and clothes are clean, fit well, and compliment each other. Simple!...and don't forget to smile, it doesn't cost anything! : )
