I almost made a fool of myself. I thought that you made an error by only holding the pair of aces and dumped the pair of 10s while you were playing Jacks or better. Just in time I realized that you switched to double double. Nice catch on those two really quick quads on JOB. Of course that never seems to happen on the games that pay royalties for the 4 of a kind. Love the videos!

My shoutout as a guy whos been around the block...more than enough times im willing to admit: No dependence on machine or timing, no probability RNGs built into VP. You just pick a machine and hope for the best. I've seen machines light on fire, and ive seen 3 folks in a bank row hit all at the same time. I've also seen a full bank on dollar denomination go silent until 10k progressive. Dont assume a specific machine or time is good, just do your thing.

I don't know that particular casino, but I believe the royal is not set to hit before a certain amount. I've seen those at 6 to 7 grand before. I want to see you hit it at $4,777 though..LOL. Let's Go!!

Im no computer expert, but in my experience of playing years on the in house linked progressive IGT machines here in Atlantic City, they always seem to hit around the same number as long as no oblivious idiots bet less than the max bet, the slot mechanic told me it will re-set the machine and cause the jackpot to go higher. I noticed the $1 denom joker poker progressives here tend to hit around $4,600 or so. The 25 cent joker poker hits at about $1080-$1,150. I have hit it at less though. I've hit the linked machines about 20 or so times this year. The Pandemic I believe has given a little edge to the player with less competition. The one group I play only has 3 machines up and running out of 6.

Unless otherwise specified, I believe the progressives can keep growing. Here in Vegas,, I was playing one bank of dollar denom double double and the royal progressive was over $10k. A lady sat down next to me and got the royal on her first deal. lol Nice video!!

yeah progressive poker is all about finding value....now as far as return or percentages you might have to ask slotmassace on that one. Good judge to play the machines or not as you know what the base that it starts at is the normal pay structure and goes up by a little bit with each hand played. Ive hit 4 deuces with an ace at red rock on quarters for $954 which is a hell of a deal on a $1.25 bet. I also worked there at the time so when I passed it I would always knew when it hit lol. But ya progressives can have value but usually when they get high its hard to get on a machine.

All jackpots on video poker are RNG. There is no threshold amount. I was at wynn in Las Vegas and the jackpot for deuces on a natural royal flush was over $7800. I was dealt a royal flush on first hand with a wild deuce which was worth $100. Most people would have just held the deuce royal but I dumped the deuce and low and behold, I won the $7800. It was hidden and thats why it might have been that high.

Regarding the ‘missed flush’ 1 minute in..learn about RNG..what you do has absolutely no bearing at all due to the Random Number Generator. The more you know!
