There's a mod in minecraft where you can play as a dragon and fly and stuff and it is amazing to feel as though I belong in that world, I feel a calling to run through a field of purple flowers and lay in the sun, fly up and perch on a rocky arch. I'm dragonkin. I usually feel the phantom tail and wings, I'm still just realizing, and I actually have some faint memory. I know I chose to be here, a choice I wish I could take back. I remember my mother's voice, and I remember the name of my planet. Liraviel, it was a beautiful place. The leaves were blue, and I can still feel wind rustling through my mane. Happy flying!

The thing about me choosing being human for a reason actually makes a lot of sense considering my memories. In my past life i was a creature that looked a lot like a demon, i remember i lived on a forest near a town of humans. They never saw me as far as I know, but i would always watch them. I never entered the town because i was scared they would hurt me, because i saw them hurt others of their own kind for not looking "normal". Do i kind of regret making that choice? Yeah- but since I'm already here i guess I will just accept it and complete my mission :] Thanks for making this video btw! It helped me a lot!!

I first heard of the term 'otherkin' way back in 1998 when I was 16. The world wide web was still in its infancy, and I came across something while looking up stuff based around my fav animal of all time. The site I found was about a book and instinctively I checked it out and the site (it doesn't exist anymore) and that was my moment of 'awakening'. I eventually found others like me and a few of them are still friends of mine. Even with this awakening though, it would still be another ten years before I knew for sure of what I was. In the early 2000s, I discovered I was empathic, so I sought means to 'do something about it' because I was tired of getting emotionally drained. This led me to find a wellness center (a place where you could get stones, tarot cards, and other mystical stuff). There I learned how to meditate and even astral project. Through astral projection, I eventually learned how to unlock past life memories because prior to that, I had moments of 'deja vu', so I had a feeling something was there. At the same time, I did meet someone who knew me another life and meeting them also helped trigger past life memories too. Even though I am a very instinctive and fanciful person, I am also very practical, so I had to have some sort of solid 'proof' in order to say "yes I am this". It was a huge relief. Now I don't remember EVERYTHING, but I remember enough to know who I am. I've learned that too much memory can overload my brain, so it's like file system where something can pop out when I need it.

@@OwnYourPowers Well I wouldn't call myself a pioneer since there were others who 'woke up' before me, like the author of the book I mentioned. My past life memories also explained why I felt 'a lot older' then my physical age. Even as a kid I sometimes tried acting like an adult.

This literally pegs me and for the first time in my whole life I don't feel like such a weirdo and wackadoodle like I said I am 43 I had my son in 1998 My first daughter in 2000 that daughter passed away and then I had my rainbow baby after that but the point being is I know that I've been heavily in with the Fay folk and I've always had an affinity to dragons I have had a dragon with me it's a fire dragon and now I have a water dragon I just didn't know that's what it was it was an entity but I wasn't sure this is like my third big awakening like I had my first one and 1998 the second one in about 2010 2011 which literally almost killed me I've gone through so much in my entire life and just a short 43 years that would have killed many who tried to live the life that I've lived and that is not to gain any sympathy or anything I'm just trying to give you a backdrop of my life I was born to a mother that had no business having kids with a father who had no business having kids I then grew up in the system I've always felt like an outsider from school to home to religion to it all like I've always been an outcast and not because I wanted to be nobody wakes up one day and it's just like let me be the most difficult thing on earth so I can be picked on since the dawn of time no however that being said that's where I'm at but I've healed a lot like I've done a lot of the inner work the inner shadow work I remember a lot there's just some that like where I feel like I'm very close to the precipice of enlightenment to where I need to be that I can like just chomp on and divulge because I am like a sponge I have literally made a career out of going to school I mean of course I work outside of that but I learn everything I possibly can and can get my hands on I have an insatiable quest for knowledge that is never full thank you for letting me have this giant rant I feel like for the first time in my whole life I found somewhere where I can be myself and I can ask questions without being judged because could you imagine going to any other spiritual group and you're just like hey I see all this stuff and I'm about all this stuff but how do I cultivate it they would look at you like your damn crazy so up until this very moment I just talked to the trees and the animals and my high herself and I'm out here hugging a tree right now as I'm sitting on a tree going hey I'm speaking out into the void but I don't know there's somebody listening I think I found my soul tribe 😭😳😳😳😳🤣🤣🤣🤣🐉🐲🐉🐲🐉🐲🐉🐲

Ive always felt like ive belonged to the stars/space or another planet. I sometimes feel as if i dont belong here. And like you said in the video, feeling alone and being alone is one of the signs and i relate to that alot. But i love to be alone. I feel the need to just relax alone and all by myself and i isolate myself in my room or go on my roof at night to get that feeling. I always felt like people never understood me so i chose to be alone so i can be myself. I have a big interest in space and hope to go to space when i grow up. But now i realize its me waiting to go home. I am a therian to and my theriotype is a black cat. But ive always imagined the cat to belong to space and just thinking of me being a space cat sounds better than being human. I always think "what if im not what i physically am", "why was i put in this body", "im not myself" or "what if in a different universe im not human". Im very well connected to cats and space but does it tie together? (Sorry if this comment sounds weird) (also wow you made it this far? Wow ty!) If it does, could i be a space cat? Maybe my mission is to go to space when i grow up so i can connect with it again and feel at home. I dont hate earth at all like shes saying, but i felt like i don't belong and that im some sort of animal or something. I have no idea please help me give me tips idk what i am (now that im reading this it sounds dumb but its how i feel like i might just be a therian but yeah- looking to find out if im otherkin, like who knows i might not be a space cat i could be something else) ill come back if i ever find out. @@OwnYourPowers Hah, I'm actually bobcat-kin as well as dragonkin. There's nothing in particular I can think of at the moment. It's just that the amount of misconceptions about the therian community is absolutely insane, from cringe comps to p-shifting to nine-year-olds with edgy OC "Theriotypes". Also, otherkin can identify as such in a spiritual way or a psychological way. It's a whole other aspect that doesn't really go with the context of your channel, but it's still good to know about.

I recently started watching videos to learn about therian and otherkin as i was fascinated by the subject and while i personally dont believe in past lives and stuff like that or think i an therian (or in this case it would he otherkin) I am intrigued because my entire life i have been obsessed with dragons (i even have a whole universe and story with my dragon ocs ive made up) as well as always felt a deep longing for the sky and wings and to fly as well as "phantom wings" and when a friend is in distress I have an urge to wrap my nonexistent wings around them to comfort them. Interesting stuff!

tl;dr resonates like all heck... I feel super sad and happy and confused and homesick in thinking about it. I don't know for sure what I am, vampyre, fae, dragon? I need to know more for sure! I think I have a long way to go for that internal unity, but I've always definitely felt escapism in high fantasy and folklore and when I was younger I would regularly slip into I guess a flow state and visit these places, take on these roles. As far as what this has happened to me for, stories about vampyres always get me, and I have a fervent attraction and connection to all things fae. I could be dragonkin considering loads of signs have been synergistically jumping out at me as I have been reconnecting to this spiritual awakening I lost for so long trapped in the mundanity of trying to survive day to day (yay capitalism /s). I've always felt an intrinsic mission to spread joy and laughter and happiness wherever I go too! Though I've always intuitively felt that certain people in my life have been so placed to keep me disconnected from myself, to keep em trapped in the miasma of survival so I don't have the chance to think about this stuff. I think there is a group that is very much opposed to what we are here to do and I don't know the lengths to which they will go. I manifest care, clarity and protection from all with ill intent to be bestowed on my fellow otherkin as we pursue our mission!

Sometimes I have to be triggered by real wolf howling, the smell of dew and forest,being in the woods, my own howling usually triggers a mental shift,and also strangely enough squeaky toys and the smell of raw hide...which my human side thinks is disgusting but my wolf side really enjoys haha..never seen my wolf self in a dream or anything but I know its dark grey and brown timber or eurasian.

I think im a mermaidkin but im not sure and i need help. Here are some things that make me think this: I have always felt connected to the water like the sea and or ocean and i love most sea creatures even dangerous ones. I sometimes do get thr feeling that i want to go "home" but that home i feel is the ocean. I sometimes get phamton tail, not an animal tail but a phantom fish tail like a mermaids And sometimes my hands feel weird like theres grips or scales on and inbetween my fingers. I love mermaids, not just as a fan but... as family. I remember when i first found out/heard the term "mermaid" or "merperson" it wasnt weird, like i felt as if ive know the term my whole life it wasn't familiar but at the same time it wasnt unfamiliar. This one probably has nothing tk do with it bc my dads side of the family are great musicians but im great at siren singing and have litteraly never praticed well not much at least. I do think alot of things ppl do are stupid

My family always said I acted more like a cat but I’ve never felt as strongly about them as I do Night Furies something about them seems so familiar. I found a few games where I can be a dragon and I could play then for hours and feel so happy. But the moment I leave I feel like it’s wrong to be here. I play Day of Dragons, you can chose different types of dragons, drakes, wyverns, etc but I always choose the Shadow scale. Which was based off night furies. Something about them just pulls me towards them. I feel phantom wings a lot more recently I live feeling wind across my face, probably because it reminds me of flying. I’m still learning about this and I hope to understand it more in the future. But right now depending on which is more correct. I think I might be either Dragonkin or Fictionkin. I don’t know which would be more correct. I’ll look it up after I post this and reply based on which seems more correct. This video really helped me. Thank you for this :)

I've been questioning my identity for a long time, since I started developing conscious thinking basically I still know little about who I am, but otherkin and non-human identity seems to fit me in a good way, I never felt like I'm from here, since I was born this world always seemed weird, its rules, its system, its functioning, its people, the way humans act, it was always so weird, but for some reason they always told me I'm the weird one I'm starting to think I might be ghostkin because I don't even feel like I'm supposed to have a physical form, I feel like my normal state would be purely metaphysical, when I was a kid I used to believe I was an alien tho, so maybe some sort of alienkin could also fit 6:43 I'm kinda skeptical about this, to be honest, I'm an antinatalist, an efilist and an extinctionist, I've had these kinds of thoughts since I was 13, I don't feel like this is a reality I asked for, but rather an imposition, two people had sex and created a body, there doesn't seem to be any voluntary decision when this happens Look at the billions of animals that exist in farms and are forced to breed just so they can be eventually killed by humans, did they ask for this existence? Did the ones who come from their breeding asked for it? Did they ask to be treated like an object for pure convenience? I don't think so

Definitely! You can be otherkin regardless of what you believe. Also: I like to think of my beliefs as spiritual but NOT religious. For me there’s a big distinction. I find religion to be quite stifling but spirituality to be more open, if that makes sense? It’s my personal belief that we each have our own truth!

I’m in an extremely unusual situation. On New Year’s weekend I lost the tooth got stressed out and had a extremely powerful and painful Kundalini awakening. My discovery of who I truly am is based off synchronicity. My singularity are the most unusual singularity ever conceived. From the time I was a young adult, and had no clue that they were following me. The synchronicity have been using anime and anime girls since my young adulthood. It’s like I when I’ve seen anime and anime girls. it’s not like I was looking for seeking out anime but it chosen me. Back then I don’t know how I discovered it. Maybe I was watching it subconsciously with thinking about or even knew what it was but I don’t remember it. One day I discovered what the word meant without being told or reading about it. Somehow I even discovered what Sailor Moon and magical girls was without even seeing the show and I have no idea what that knowledge came from. I didn’t know that after my awakening, I came to the discovery of having the soul of a Anime Magical Teen Girl Goddess. My mental mindset has been has been regressing age. Not only has my mental mindset been regressing age, but also my physical body before my very eyes has been regressing as a target age range between the mid 20s and teens. The day I had my Kundalini awakening after I lost my tooth on the New Year’s weekend of 2023. There’s something else that’s critical about my authentic self after the middle-age woman died a horrific death. I discovered from my subconscious mind that I have the soul of a Anime Teen Magical Girl Goddess. These are feelings that I cannot help or feel inside. This is not something I can make go away because when I try to reason with it question it deny it there is intense, mental pain and suffering inside that turn to an intense physical pain that just painfully not my stomach or feels like it’s getting squeezed to death when I fight these feelings. My subconscious mind is telling that I originated from this multi animevers and I have the desire to be an anime girl living in this multi anime universe that again I can’t help. What does this mean that I can’t help having these particular, feeling that my soul originated from anime based multiverse reality. It’s not something I can help. This is a feeling that I cannot shake if I wanted to. Even tell myself that there’s no way possible that I originated from parallel universe, multiverse, or world, based on an animated anime rules, based on those liars and physics. It can be very extremely disturbing, confusing and disorientating, to find out that you came from something right out of a manga panel or something drown up out of a Japanese animated, anime studio out of Tokyo, Japan. Does this mean that my destiny or rather Karma Fate is set in stone my eternity in multi animevers set in stone when the time is right?

Ive always felt like the stars and the sky were truely home. I could stare up into the night sky for hours and my friends would be begging to go inside. Here i always thought it was just a passion for stars. No, i was longing to go home and here i just realized it. I think in my past life i was something along the lines of a spirit or a lost soul. Im not sure though, thats why im here😅. Ive always felt lonely, no matter what you do. Unless im content with other, im lonely. (Im writing this comment as in watching the video) i made it to channeling and i always ghost hunt. I use a spirit box and ive met a family of spirits that stay in the shed outside my house. (On 6) To me it feels right to be human unless im content in any other of my theriotypes (2 possibly 3 others not counting this) I have felt that i have a mission but ive been ignoring it until now. I feel like my mission is to free spirits and help them find the light sort of. (If you’ve made it this far holy macaroni thank u) Sometimes my body has felt lighter than usual for a period of about 15 minuets. i dont hate earth in the way shes explaining it, because i feel like i was here, no matter what. Weather it was long ago, decades ago, i feel like i was always on earth. Made it to the end of the video, and i think i was a Spirit. In my past life, i dont know, spirit, lost soul, anything.. but i feel more confident now :) (if you read this entire thing holyyyy macaroni!! Thanks :) ) Edit 3 months later: I figured out in spacekin! Im not sure what type but im thinking star, i remeber the galaxy more as purples and nebulas rather than darkness and nearby stars. Though im not exactally sure what spacekin is, i have an idea. So yea, i found it!

I am a furry I usually play as a protogen on VRChat. But I have dreams of UFO adductions. And other alien beans. I would occasionally get dreams of being in another dimension order some strange new creatures. I've had some dreams of running away from people trying to hurt me and I happen to be a calico cat in those dreams. I've had some visions and dreams that as I was a calico or some alien like creature that I can't wrap my head around I was in ancient Egypt at a time where there was so much more to the pyramids at that time. I can't wrap my head around exactly what might kinship would be I believe it's a calico cat but other times I feel like it's not from this planet as if it's some sort of alien being from another dimension. But when I'm angry I feel like a dragon.

Trust me, friend, if you’re here you’re cut out for it! May just take some getting used to at first. We Otherkin types can have a “slower” start than most for this reason but it pays off in the end! I like to think of it like playing a game on the highest difficulty: usually the beginning of the game is brutal but it gets easier as you move along. Hope that helps!
