Here are the steps she mentioned if you don't have the time to listen to all the talking. Step 1 starts at 2:14 Wash hair, Step 2 starts at 3:57 Deep Condition, Step 3 starts at 5:03 Moisturize, Step 4 starts at 7:36 Create a hair regimen & stick to it, Step 5 starts at 9:12 NO heat or hair straightening, Step 6 starts at 11:29 Protective Hair Styling and Step 7 starts at 12:53 Be Patient...wish someone had posted this took a long time it seemed to watch this but your hair is very pretty. Some of these steps I have abused especially step 5 but I will try to not do this as much. Thanks for your tips.

I LOVE YOUR PERSONALITY, YOUR VOICE, AND YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!! That little motivational part at the end was exactly what I needed to hear. Well, the whole video was motivational but you know what i mean XD. I keep looking on instagram and there are SO many people and CHILDREN with super long afro hair and they always leave it out and hardly trim it, and it confuses me so much. But this is my own hair journey and i am different from them. If i keep this up, i will be able to reclaim the Glorious Afro that i had in 2013 back.

Short style on you so beautiful similar to the way, I find my hair does grow fast when I wash it frequently totally agree with getting rid of dirt and stimulating the scalp. I had it it was so cute and brought out my eyes, I'm considering going short but straight rather than curly cause the products used to maintain my curls didn't agree with my skin.

Great video for newly naturals! Beautiful big chop! Great length retention since then. I don't take vitamins either. I did my big chop from heat damaged arm pit length hair into a curly bob May 2013, and now my hair is bra strap length when stretched for a length check. My hair is to my shoulders with shrinkage. Deep conditioning for as long as you want will result in limp hair, so it's best not to do that. I do the LCO method for my low to normal porosity hair. Following these tips have gotten my hair to my current length.

keylanistyles it really doesn't matter what hair type you have. The important thing is your hair porosity and density. Because someone with 4c who has low porosity while have another regimen than someone with 4c and high porosity.

It actually depends on you're porosity and how much product you use throughout the week or month.

Gorgeous hair. 🎀 So when I first started my journey, I focused on moisturizing my hair, now I am focusing on length. But during the past 2 years, I got lazy with braids( I LOVE THEM- but my hair slips out) and recently my edges started to thin. So now the focus is my edges and length. 😁
@AmberAnsah8 жыл бұрын
Thanks girl! 😘 Oh gosh I have exactly the same! I wore too much high buns so my edges are also breaking 😭 just make sure you don't braid them too tight and moisturize them as much as you can. that's what I'm doing now

Hi, I really liked your video, I already do what you said, except I'm low on patience sometimes, and instead of doing the Loc method I do Lco because I find that the cream just sits on my hair, So yeah thanks for the motivation, I was natural before for most of my life and I got tired of the detangling, didn't know about braids or straightening my hair so I just got a relaxer had it for four years got tired of it and now I just big chopped in April, never had short hair before so the struggle is real. Thanks for the motivation,
