I could see that you were struggling but I wanted to respect your situation and didn't want to say anything about your partner not giving you more help. I didn't know your situation so I didn't want to say anything that might be offensive. But as a woman, you should never have to feel that you are taking care of your children without help. It's difficult but you have to take care of yourself first, because if you are not happy, your children will not be happy.

@@Thatonegirl989 I worked with men whose partners had young children and sometimes they would find all kinds of reasons not to leave work at the appropriate time so they could be there for the children. I'm lucky my dad was the total opposite. He was really present. Plus, my grandmother and other family members helped my parents when they had to go work. So extended family was a God send.

I definitely noticed the depression on you girl. Unfortunately men don’t help how they should when they should and especially when the kids are really little! My husband and I broke up a week before my youngest turned 1 and we were separated for a whole year because he was useless to us at that time. We’re back together now and let’s just say he’s now the dream partner lol but long story short I get it! You can’t depend on people who aren’t being dependable. Good for you you needed it ❤

I’m not sure if you have this same issue. But sometimes things take baby steps. Maybe get a content schedule and figure out what you need to do that fits your schedule. Maybe make a video about you doing a content calendar and post that on multiple social media (American saying: kill 2 birds with one stone). Or maybe a motherhood series while you do your hair 🤷🏽♀️. Or cleaning and cooking. People actually love content like that and it goes viral on KZbin shorts and TikTok. So glad you still consider us ❤.

Hey girl, I've been praying for you. I had a feeling about motherhood getting hard. I also have two, I think we were pregnant about the same time. My two are also about 4 years apart. And also trying to do a side hustle and keep my sanity. So yes, taking a break from things is necessary. Once the kids get a little more Independent, then it gets easier. My two are now almost 7 and 2.5, and I'm 36 and tired. But I am finally feeling I'm getting over that hump. I'm proud of you for coming back but I support any and everything you do. You choose you boo. I'll also say one of your videos were the reason I even attempted my side hustle and it's actually making something now. So thank you. Stay strong girl and stay positive ❤

This feels so strange for me to write but I am sure we are living parallel lives! I started following you years ago when I started my curly hair journey and you were the only youtuber I could find that had as much hair as me and a similar texture! I also had my first baby early 2020 and then I had my second at the end of 2022. Your story of losing yourself and finding yourself again resonates so much and I really appreciate you sharing. I struggled with the birth of my second and went on survival mode because I had no help. The doctor said it was depression but I know now it's because I was just so burnt out from caring for my babies basically by myself! I left my job last year and started a business but took a break from January up until about a week ago to recover and get my shit together and now I feel better than ever, but I still have further to go. I hope you continue on your journey and wish you all the best ❤
