I wouldn't say this isnt an invalid take but Geto at full strength would still be the weakest. The second weakest special grade, Yuki Tsukumo was able to contend and even beat Kenjaku for a good portion of their fight, pushing him to reveal his secret. She also has a lot of things that Geto does not, and is overall a stronger character.

ANother thing to consider is how Yuki has achieved the pinnacle of jujutsu in a domain expansion, while Geto has only gotten to a Maximum technique at best. Which is still strong, but is not as noteworthy as a domain. Along with other techniques such as simple domain, an extentsion technique in Garuda, and Reverse Cursed Technique

Japan isnt the only place that produces cursed energy as it was shown that others outside japan such as miguel can also receive it, along with this it is stated that in general cursed spirits are created by the sadness, hatred etc of man. The possibility of gojo not being the strongest in the world aside from sukuna is there but i highly doubt it because while he think's surpassing him is possible to surpass him he still considers himself the strongest and it's unlikely gojo the face of the jujutsu world would be unaware of them plus gojo's birth was felt world wide for cursed sensitive people (at the very least by every curse since all of them got stronger after his birth because of his birth) if another person as strong as him were alive they woupd likely need to be someone like kenjaku or sukuna who were born thousands of years ago for them not to be known

After the new chapter was released, I can safely say that Hakari is indeed special grade, Uraime doesn't acknowledge Hakari as a human but a monster, as well having a regeneration that are both faster than Sukuna and Gojo. Hakari should be considered a special sorcerer as it told by Yuta that Hakari could very well beat him in a fight (or he's being humble about it and I could be wrong about this) Nonetheless, Hakari is a third year student, he has a lot of experience than any other student and having a domain that are 0,2 second faster is pretty broken. But don't forget he gets a guarantee jackpot for every 4 loses and unlike other sorcererer who has limits when Using domain, Hakari is the only character that could spam Domain as much as he wants. Just like the narator said "When it comes to fight, Always bet on Hakari"

Theres also a theory that Yuji had a cursed technique originally but when Sukuna entered his body, he wasn't able to use it. Recent chapters we saw his arm with a different texture and his nails grew long like S1 ep1-2 Sukuna so maybe that is his CT? Then there is the case of him being a death womb so it may be blood-related too like with his brothers

The original death paintings were a result of Kenjaku in Noritoshi Kamo’s body, so since Itadori was born from Kenjaku in somebody else’s body, the chances of him getting blood manipulation is pretty much not existent.

I would say noritoshi has the potential to become a special grade. For three reasons. 1there is a reason why the lamp clan is one of the big thee families. This was a really interesting video to watch, but I do have some opinions I would like to share. 1. Sukuna is already considered a special grade, his fingers are special grade cursed objects, and since those are about of him he is technically a special grade. 2. Yuki is technically the weakest special grade that we see in the manga. Geto would have won against Yuta if he didn't split his cursed spirits, this was stated at one point in the manga. Yuki is the weakest special grade, it's only because her maximum technique was easily countered by Kenjaku and left no serious damage to him (it was also contained by Tengen's barrier but I have no idea if it has any impact on her being a powerful special grade or not). I would like to add that Hakari woudld actually rank above Yaga in terms of being a special grade. I would argue Yuji and Megumi both will become special grade. It is stated several times by Gojo that both of them WILL surpass Gojo. Gojo states Hakari, Yuji, Megumi and Yuta WILL surpass him. My last point number 3. Angel is a special grade. Jacobs Ladder nearly killed Sukuna is her host Hana (who was in a silly goofy mood) didn't fuck it up. Because she would have killed a 15 finger Sukuna in 1 shot she does qualify as a special grade. For those wondering why I included Yuji, Yuji is already boxing up grade 1 cursed spirits and has beat Mahito several times within this story, damaged Hanami (both of these with help from Todo but you can't lie his black flashes carried the fight along with Todo's CT). Then it's the fact that he can hold back Sukuna from taking over his body(the deal doesn't count seeing as he did agree to it then forgot it).

i personally would disagree on the Hakari being able to be a special grade. yes his jackpot state gives him immortality and lets him go full power with no cursed energy issues is insane and yes he could overthrow a nation, however its this fine line of how long it will take him to do that to consider it more than just "on paper he can". For example I can technically run over the world but it will take months + so many breaks that we don't really qualify that as running around the world. Or i could on paper turn a giant rock into dust with a small teaspoon but it will take so much time that we don't consider it that way. That's how i feel about Hakari. Any sorcerers with a decent enough technique and good control over their cursed energy could on paper defeat armies. But Hakari can only go for 4minutes and 11 seconds in jackpot then do it again and again and it will take so long. On the other hand cursed spirit manipulation lets getou/kenjaku take care of large areas in a short amount of time, gojo can nuke cities, yuta has rika who can level buildings easily and his boundless cursed energy (also big laser beam) and yuki could destroy the world.

Here to remind everyone that JP is GUARANTEED from Hakari’s domain. The only luck is based on the amount of time it takes to get there. Increased probability guarantees a JP. Normal mode guarantees a JP. Fast spins results in a JP or a return to normal mode, guaranteeing a JP. USING A BINDING VOW of unknown increase to dura, hakari at the end of JP tanked a CE explosion of all of Kashimo’s CE only at the cost of his arm. Again, we don’t know how strong the binding vow made his CE reinforcement, especially a strong one like sacrificing a vital aspect of his fighting style, and sacrificing the ability to open a domain, so this doesn’t translate directly to his dura, but we do know that it’s a lot more impressive than “has no dura feats.” Assuming it’s anything similar to nanami’s binding vow (difference of 120% to 80%), hakari in base is tanking a massive CE explosion with no signs of damage, and proceeding to swim out of the boiling water with no damage (he sacrificed his arm, the damage there isn’t what I’m talking abt). Nothing implies he was out of CE, low on CE, physically drained, or wounded at all by the explosion. If nothing else, that puts him at top of grade 1 in reinforcement in Base. Kenjaku says special grade is taking over a nation single handedly, not an official metric. However, by that metric, Hakari applies since he can infinitely loop immortality, tank a lightning bolt to the head, has insane CE reinforcement, and none of their weapons would do much to him anyway. Gojo also says that special grade simply means special. It could be an insanely broad term, or narrow term, but I think it means to be specifically separate from the rest of jujutsu society and powerful while separate. Which would apply to army making, Gojo being Gojo, defying concepts, and copying techniques. I also believe this applies to the only person in the history of jujutsu (that we know of) who can infinitely loop domains, has better RCT than Gojo and Sukuna, and a higher pool of CE than my sorcerer in history in JP. The only thing Hakari rlly lacks to put him “on par” with the rest of special grades is DC. Hakari can punch and kick. Insanely strong punches and kicks that can ping pong around thousand pound shipping containers, but punches and kicks nonetheless. If u think special grades specifically have to have something that can destroy insane amounts of area in one shot, or have similar effects, then Hakari doesn’t make it.

Inumaki definitely has the potential. Lack of physical strength? "Become weak" or something like that. "Die", "Crush" "Tear apart" and the battle would end right then and there. The recoil damage could've been prevented if he learned RCT. Waste of potential

He lacks a lot of things, physical combat, lack of ce reserves, domain, simple domain, rct. Learning rct helps him with prolonging the fight but the recoil isn’t gonna go away just cuz he learns rct, he’ll heal it but if he keeps using curse speech the recoil would still happen. Meaning if he spams rct cuz he keeps getting hurt then he’ll lose so ce twice as fast. Also curse speech is useless to sorcerers who see it coming cuz they can just cover their ears with ce so they won’t get effected

I dont think its so much what they can do that makes them a special grade. How easily they can take over a country and how hard it is to stop them. The reason Hakari isnt a special grade is because he can be stopped.

I think the criteria of being ranked Special Grade lies in their destructive capabilities, which Hakari currently lacks since he's just a brawler. Gojo can destroy a city with just one Hollow Purple and he can spam them Yuta can spam his love beam which is multiple city blocks level of power Yuki can create a black hole Geto has an army

But in base, she can already destroy a whole country as she can imbue mountain like mass through her punches and garuda, those punches can probably cause earthquakes too, and a punch to a building is enough to cost a disaster especially for densely populated places. + With her bom ba ye and stuff then she probably cannot be targeted herself by homing weapons. Only difference between teenage version of him and adult version is he has a lot more curses under his belt and he knows a maximum ct. Sure his hand to hand is pretty good but in terms of being able to use rct, domain, master uzumaki, he doesn’t have all that. I agree not knowing a domain isn’t his fault since that wasn’t a thing then but it is what it is. Also yuta was still a novice, he has like a year or so under his belt so fending off yuta is to be expected

Geto would have won if he had all his curses that time, but his curses were split cause half of it was causing havoc on cities. Considering the uzumaki he created only got overcome by a sacrificial vinding vow, if that same uzumaki had all his curses then Yuta would be gone-gone. Kenjaku was the one that stated this btw.

Toji only defeated a Teen Geto who was at that time a grade 1 sorcerer along with gojo, Geto who was already a special grade in the jjk vol 0 scales into apocalyptic level of destruction given his 4000+ curses in his arsenal. Also keep in mind that when Gojo and Geto were teens Yuki was most likely already a special grade sorcerer so at that time she was infact the strongest, she probably has more or equal experience to toji too. Toji looses to all special grades.
