I hope that I am not considered a hoarder, but I tend to keep things that I might need at a future date. It would be nice to have a clean, organized garage, attic or closet, but sometimes I do need something I have saved. Even if I try to part with my treasures, It is sometimes hard finding someone, or place that want them. I feel guilty throwing things away, contributing to an already polluted environment. I guess my problem would be solved if I ever decide to move, or leave my home of 31 years involuntarily.

You're not a hoarder, David, I think so many people can relate 😊 Especially if you've been living in the same place for a long time. It's way easier to get rid of things when moving often. What are the things you kept and then were glad you didn't throw them out because you needed them? I'm curious, it's often something totally unlikely 😄

That seems to be the problem, there is very little I have saved that I thought I might need in the future. The only thing I can remember saving that I needed again was an old kitchen sink. I reused it to make an outdoor garden sink. I guess I should throw out everything, but the kitchen sink.@@livelikeliz

@@davidprice1356 If throwing out would make you happy - do it ☺ If keeping the things makes you happy - do it ☺ Usually we don't miss the things we haven't needed in years though.

Thank you for this beautiful video! It is lovely. Sadly it costs money to get to where I'd love to be - a cabin in the woods, growing food, living simply - and I haven't found a way to make that happen.

Thank you so much ❤️ Yes, it's quite the irony that living simply can cost money first, even if it saves money in the long run. I would always recommend to implement the changes we can make in our current situation, even if we don't have that cabin in the woods or that perfect vege garden. Taking steps into the right direction is still something, even if it's not perfect yet. 🌻💕

You are a natural talent, keep it up! 😉👍❤ I think I have done ( and keep doing ) all this steps towards a simpler life. The most important step for me is to prioritize and take care myself ( this is like my first rule with big bold letters 😅 ) and from the moment I did that, I felt like a whole new person and this of course has a good impact also to the people that is around me! Another important step as I said also some other times is to take it slow and enjoy the little things and be grateful of what I have all the time. PS : I wish I had this countryside playmobil as a child and even now! 😅

my dream is to live slowly, at my own pace, free to choose what or what not to be my obligation. but it is stil very difficult for me to reach that dreams, because I am starting Ph.D. and IVF this year, which both of them have a lot of mental and physical infamous challenges for any human being. I just wish that God give me His strength...
