I just rely on the good faith principle; I believe there are more good people than cheats in the world and I'm putting my trust in them to do the right thing. For low-cost products, it's not a big deal. This is why I keep all my Notion templates at a lower price point and offer high-end consulting instead.

You can't prevent it, I wouldn't worry about it since it's out of your control

So you can send emails to clients but not email marketing/newsletters as there’s no unsubscribe button. Look into the can-spam act of 2003. I would recommend using an email marketing software.
