I was trying to tell people man. I really did my scouting of the rookies this year as I was super intrigued who we could get at 8. I was even more intrigued when I watched Dysons interviews and just how mature his attitude towards the game was. This kid is a sponge. He’s so willing to learn and get better, the Defensive discipline is unbelievable for a 19 year old and he truly understands .5 passing to a tee. He’s selfless, he doesn’t need or want to hold on to the ball, he just wants to find his team an advantage. That mentality is so invaluable when pairing with guys like Zion and Ingram. If he keeps this up I think you need to look at starting him. Kid just doesn’t make many mistakes out there, that’s what you need alongside the firepower we have.

One thing underrated about this game. When CP3 was in foul trouble guarding Dyson, Dyson would attack CP3 whenever he got the ball. He had the veteran instincts to know not only was CP3 too small to guard him, but CP3 could not afford to pick up another foul. Dyson’s IQ is so good for a rookie and has shown no fear of stars or big moments

Without Herb… with multiple players having bad games (CJ, Trey, JV at times), generally not playing great at times… our ceiling is so high I can’t see it 😂 And we still have enough assets to take some1 on earning around 25m, without touching the rotation. Insane Maybe a segment during the week u look at whether we wanna make a big move bcoz we look like contenders already. Maybe an older player who has 2 years on their contract so will coincide with other players coming forward. Here a lot of Bojan or Olynyk or buddy hield. Nothing specific but preferably a shooter

Jake, id like you to go back and watch the whole game again and this time, pay attention to the Suns players faces as they get sub out. all the guys that walk off the court has this "beaten look" on their faces. they looked TIRED... well i would assume so because they are getting pounded between JV and Zion down low. then when they think they are safe guarding a guard instead of helping down low, POINT ZION is activated which now sending Lord Zion out to continue to pound the $hit out of these Suns players. its already TOUGH for any dude trying to guard Lord Z but to also have the rest of the Pels players contributing to the attack, it can break a grown man will to continue. you already saw Booker waved that flag and did NOT want anything to do with round 2, sitting out because of a hammy injury.
