@gabouchar997723 күн бұрын
@@scubasteve2189 It's not a bad feature if it's optional. I remember in Call of Duty: Advanced warfare, if you pressed the reload button twice really fast, it would trigger a faster reload animation where the soldier would throw the mag out of the weapon instead of taking the mag and putting it back in his pockets. Your reload speed was faster, but you'd lose the ammo that was left in it. I've always wondered why no other shooting game used that feature. I always thought that it was a great option to give, and a great detail to have. Now I haven't played Helldivers 2, but if that's always the case on every reload, that would drive me mad.

I adhere to these rules, and many others, so strictly that I realized that I'm actually a member of a gaming-based religion. I'm 40 years old and have never willingly fast-traveled, and have read every single word of in-game lore books, usually multiple times. Thanks for listening to my Ted Talk, I have to go now to get tested for autism.

God… so right! I follow all those rules specially if I like the game. Here are others l follow: 1- Find every gear and hidden item of the game; 2- Level items and char to max level before hit last boss; 3- If there a new game +, make sure to play again to get the missing items / boss / whatever is left. If I remember anything more, I update this message.

Rule #1 (If your talking about rules that MUST be followed). Read the manual before playing so you know what all your options are and how to use them. Do not plug it in and just jump in because that would just be shear chaos and folly. Me: Installs the game, tosses the manual back in the box, start up the game, skips the intro and dives right in. "I got this. After all, how hard could it be?"

Damn. Feel like I got called out. I've done all 7 of these with nearly every open world game I've ever played 😂😂😂

Two stupid rules I couldn’t escape while playing FFXI 1) no one would party with you below level 10 - which was the useful way to get through early missions more quickly. 2) everyone would go to exp camps to power level so high there was no exp to gain from the dungeon and then they would solo the boss. Whereas I wanted to gain my exp from defeating the enemies on the way to the boss, gaining items in the process, for sale or crafting - because if the enemy gave no exp, the drop rate fell to almost nothing. Drove me insane that everyone I met was always trying to strategy guide and skip through the game instead of … just playing it 💙💙💙

Oh God so many # 1 Pickup of all loot # 2 Starting a game over because it's a "practice run" # 3 Saving waaaay too much. Having a million save points by every cave, doorway, quest marker # 4 "I have to finish" getting way too into the game to where you don't play anything else until you "finish"

Something I've been annoyed with in Pokémon, which can be considered a rule Pokémon players should follow, is a rule stating that you shouldn't waste the Master Ball you get on something common and easy to catch in the standard balls you have access to at the start of the game.

I am a little less fanatic about the 'talk to everyone' and 'read everything' rules as I once was, but when I leave something unread or someone untalked to, I feel a little guilty about it So, very valid list!

If things can be broken, break them; if houses/buildings can be entered, go in them. Explore everything before moving on, even if that means you have to zigzag your way to the next area. Check. Everything. Oh, and you must pick up everything, even if it's junk. You can always sell it at the next town.

Fast Travel Rule #5: It depends on how well the developers made the open world. If there's random encounters or some points of interest along the way, then no fast travel. If the world is huge but empty, fast travel time. It's similar to side quests, you don't want to miss out on the random encounter/treasure along the way.

1) I only follow rule 1 if the campaign forces you, by locking characters or abillitys for the PVP behind the campaign. 2) Only if your a completionest like me. If your a speedrunner, it's the opposite. 3) I used to do that, but do it alot more selectively now. 4) Nah, I allways go in guns blazing, and only do stealth if that gun is a sniper riffle. 5) I ocationally do the fast travel thing. 6) For me, it depends on how much hp I'm down, and how much invontory space I have left for consumables. 7) I love lore, but I've never heard of this rule. I just let fan theory channels do it for me.

For Number 2, its usually being enforced by the game itself as there's Point of no return to former place or there's time limit to the sidequest itself

As a casual gamer, can I request that you add the names of games somewhere where you show gameplay clips? I know you often mention themn in the script as well, or they are very recognisable like Hitman, but in some cases it's hard to guess which games they are from. Thanks
