Spot on! I have a Corbin for my 21 RKS, I’m 6’4”, 270, it’s amazing. My buddy gave me a tour pack when he sold his Road Glide Special, dead set against it, now can’t live without it! Upgraded to Legend shocks, improvement is noticeable. Better traction, acceleration, stopping, and cornering. Also upgraded to a torque cam, I feel my bike is set for many years to come! Love your vlogs, keep ‘em coming!

I rode my bike for decades with HUGE discomfort. Ache, pains, terrible whining noises, lower fuel mileage, slower acceleration and terrible handling in the tight twisties. Good news is: She left me after 25 years and now the bike and my rides have never been better !!

Just home from a 750k ride to the Gateway Lakes and back to Cranbourne on my Street Glide Special. I'm very happy with the stock seat and have added a back rest for my 66-year-old back. Very comfortable with the highway foot pegs fitted to the safety bars and as you've said, cruise control is a bonus. Living the dream.

The biggest thing i find with alot of people is they dont choose the right bike for the riding they intend to do. That will make a big difference in comfort, a bike that fits you well helps to. Find clothing/gear that a) fits you and b) fits you in your riding position, if you can do that there's less to annoy you while riding.

Great vid Aymen. I agrree with a lot of your recommendations. For me 14" bars were the biggest comfort addition, I also have to agree that saddle bags have also been a great comfort. Never had them on my Softail Standard but needed to carry some luggage for a bigger trips. Awesome addition and allows me to carry wet weather gear or remove items of clothing when hot to increase comfort through clothing choices. Keep up the great work and stay safe.

On my sportsters I fit mid controls. Larger bikes I like floor boards. Foot position is as important as seat, handlebars ect. For the pasenger a sidecar is total luxury. Mine fits removes in 20 minutes. Sidecars are like a totally new riding experience. Finally the diamond pattern indicates you have great taste.

Yes, after having CC for the first time in 2013 (Triumph Trophy), it's a must have for me thereafter, got it put on my 2018 LR and it's standard on my Pan AmericaS. And I never thought I would want heated grips, especially being in Sydney, but man, stock on the Pan America and for the first time ever it means I rode all winter with summer weight gloves - just great feel, less bulky and so much more comfie as a result.

I've had 3 Corbins over the years. I think they are made to last forever. Every one I had was probably six years old with over 60k miles on them and I sold them all on forums for half what I paid from them and the new owners still thought the seat they bought was like new. Some people complain about the stiffness, I liked it, but if your suspension is really taut, it might become a paddle. That could be a bigger deal now, with so many bikes coming with suspensions made to road race on finely manicured European race tracks. They aren't exactly plush and compliant.

I have found the stock Harley windshield on the batwing of my ultra limited was a major factor for my fatigue for long rides. I changed it to a clockworks windshield (dark smoke color) and wow what a difference! It also improves handling as the faster I go the front end seems to be better planted on the road. Also deflects bugs better up over the head. The bike handles much more stable in higher winds also. Handle bars and suspension will be my next upgrades. Have a "butt buffer" for my seat,(gel pad) makes the stock seat more comfortable. Awesome video and look forward to the next. Keep the shiney side up!!

We all agree in the seat and suspension for comfort! So my question is why do we have to put an extra 3-4K on an already expensive motorcycle? Harley should pay attention to this!!
@OldNotDead-Club Жыл бұрын
Good question... but I have found all bikes I have owned from all brands can have better seats. Most bikes I have owned and seen can have better everything. I don't think anyone has to purchase better anything - the beauty of a HD is that you can - there is "stuff" avaialbel

I have the thrashin pull backs and they are fantastic. However i tried many of there handbars and did not like them for the harshness (since they are solid mounted) i now have ODI v twin alloy bars on the thrashin supply risser. Absolutely epic change. The flex in the alloy bar takes away the bumps. Highly recommended this combo. Also I added the hand guard looks killer

@OldNotDead-Club G'day Eamonn,gets hot here in Queensland too, the lowers have adjustable vents that help, or I pick the cooler times of the day to ride.

Seats can be expensive these days because of the gels and foams that are used. Yes you can get a cheap seat on the internet, but a cheap seat is cheap foam and it will break down quickly. Also, cheap seats don’t typically seal their thread lines. So if it rains, the foam inside the seat gets wet and it breaks down even faster.

I don't have a lot of comfort features that Aymen mentioned, but the things that serve me well are: (a) Air cushion ... $38 on Ebay, best bang for butt. (b) Metzeler Cruisetec tyres (or Marathons if you can't get the Cruisetecs). (c) Footboards (standard on my bike ... As an ex-TZ250 racer, I really appreciate footboards on my H-D. (d) Earplugs (helps kill the wind noise) (e) Headsock/balaclava .. I can put my helmet on without ripping my ears off :) (f) Summer gear for summer and winter gear for winter. (g) Baby wipes (to clean the bugs off the helmet visor).
