Once I was walking on the train platform of my local commuter train, I was focused on my phone so I could play music on my headphones......clearly not obeying the warning signs all over the station to say pay attention around you and not your headphones........I was crossing the tracks at the proper crossing area to get to the parking lot when in a split second I looked up to see the train I was just on headed right for me. I immediately stopped and took steps back!!!! I legit almost died and it would have been my fault! Pay attention folks! No song or text on your phone is worth it.

@@deanjo57790 Most European countries don't have dedicated school buses. That looks like a normal route bus. Here in the UK for example, when I was at school the school buses were run by the local bus companies. The ones used for school runs were identical to those used for other non-school routes. There is no way to tell that it is a 'school' bus. Most these days have a destination of x school, but they run on the normal route timetables, so they are no different than the usual bus service, they are just set at times for the kids and kids have priority on them.

I have to say, massive props to the driver of the lorry. He was going at a fair pace and to anchor up without losing his rig was mightily impressive. I'm sure he remembers the sight of the kid more than his own bit of skill, but it can't be left unsaid. As for the motorcyclist, as sound as he was for protecting his girl, he shouldn't have been putting her at risk in the first place. not really. At that point in time where the truck almost hit the kid before he started running away was pretty slow. There is a video from the uk where a truck hit a kid at 30 mph and the kid went FLYING, he survived, THAT was luck. In this video, it the truck flashing his lights and sounding his horn and the reaction time of the truck driver wasn't on point, then yes, he would of died. So the luck wasn't due to him running away, but from the reactions of both truck drivers, they are the heroes in this video. The only thing running away prevented was impact. If he didn't do that he would of being hurt, yes, but dead? no. Watch the video again, and you will see that where 'impact' should of occurred the truck was doing 10mph or less.
