“Not Deer” is actually mentioned in Fallout 76 in one of the Rip Daring radio plays you can hear on the Pirate Radio! There is a good chance they might get added to the game at some point in the future.

They pronounce it "Waterferd" :), I would think "ford" too reading it but I'm from the area around Waterford, PA. I've never heard it pronounced Waterford, that was new for me albeit more logical than the regional dialect.

Also being from PA its probably closer to wadderferd. Until I left PA for a few years I was unaware that were pretty well known for our pronunciation of water and the fact its weird to most.

I'm not playing 76 currently because of some awful customer support I had right after Halloween, but I have been playing it for about a year. Encountering Cryptids for the first time is always fun. For the longest time, I didn't even believe the Jersey Devil was real. Edit: my reply got deleted so I'll make sure it's seen here. Full set of legendary power armor, gone, poof. Could I just grind a new one? Sure, but the response I got from Bethesda was so tepid and uncaring, I'm just not going to play for a while. They care way more about monetization than they do about fixing the game or making it more enjoyable.

Long ago, I was inspired by Fallout 76's cryptids and thought it would be cool for a future main-line or spinoff Fallout game to have an elusive and rare creature to encounter in the wasteland called "Ghoulfoot", who's obviously meant to be a ghoulified Bigfoot. Most wastelanders would believe it's just a myth based on a pre-war myth, but some vague clues throughout the wasteland would point to some reality.

The first one seems like a scorched beast but small, a baby scorched beast most likely or perhaps mid stage mutation. The second one apparently is a "test monkey" as this art used for one of the new season player icon with the same name.

I would be down for the tailypo to show up. A creature that can speak and in stories hunted down people who chopped its tail off. In one of the stories, it killed the hunter's dogs one by one until he was out of his companions to protect him, each night it would show up and the dogs would be sent out to kill it. Each night, one less dog returned.

The Dewayo should be easy to do by just putting longer fur on the Blue Devil model with a minor head shape rework. Lore wise, it'd make more sense if it was made to hunt and kill Snallygasters. The Dewayo could be the real origin of the Blue Devils if the Blue Devils were actually feral descendants of the domesticated (and commandable) Dewayo.
