Hey I’m 63 years old and have had it since April 2014. No mods and just 74,000 miles on it. Used as a daily drive. Everyone drives to work, I have driving experiences. If you ain’t driving it in VTEC, you ain’t driving it!

I owned one for 6 years, put 130k on it. Good daily, 7 days a week 365. Effortless to drive, LSD helps so much in winter. Passes like nothing on the highway, can hang with most sports cars out there. Great fuel mileage, always made excuses to use my car instead of the wife's. Great smiles per gallon. Loved the driver centered interior. I can go on and on

I just got a 9th gen coupe a couple weeks ago as my first manual. Gotta say, I couldn't be happier. Been really nice to learn stick on this car, and it loves corners more than anything I've driven. Hope to own this car for quite a few years.

@@carlossince92 I know this is 6 months old, but..... I'm also a Subaru guy, currently in a 2019 WRX, which is great, but im thinking of drastically cutting back on expenses, including the car :-( I've considered going to a 2014-15 Civic SI if the price is right. What'd you have before?

@@zachev5512 hey im with ya the wow factor of cars go away and car payments just aren't fun. I had a honda crv, subaru impreza, Mitsubishi eclipse. Hondas are frikkin reliable the si puts a huge smile on my face. I still have a forester however i need that awd lol.

@@carlossince92 yeah living in Michigan the awd is nice, but admittedly its not a necessity, especially when roads are cleared within the day it snows. However, I wont go back to 2wd without a LSD! Thanks for the feedback.

It is obvious you liked your 9th gen more than your 10th gen Si. I think you didn't give your 9th gen enough time to really get it going like you would have wanted, then jumped into the 10th gen coupe. I know I am commenting on this video late in the game with your channel, but I have been following you for a long time now and it was good to see this video about your 9th gen. Well done.

@@Camhill182 owned a 94' rs integra, a 2000 gs integra, 2000 prelude, 08'base civic and now the 15 si coupe.didnt think id ever be as happy with it as my old prelude, I was wrong.its better in everyway.imo

Just saw ur video randomly lol I also got a 2013 honda si sedan black everything u said I agree .I only got a muffle delete,lower springs eibach 1.8 front and 1.5 and back been having it ever they came out from show room like u said I got in love with it was like love at first sight lol I'm at 58k and I average around 32mpg on highway just recently add it a K&N short ram intake and holy the vtech is amazing.

Im picking up a 2015 sedan in the morning .i cant wait to drive! My last car was a rsx type s and some 20yo girl that just got her license plowed into my rsx and the insurance company totaled it out and paid me crap so now its time for a new car!

I just picked up a 15 si sedan in white had it for about 3 months I traded a 2011 si for it but the 9th gen is the overall best si to date imo mine is stock besides some lowering springs but I love Honda in general especially the si I got a huge upgrade over my 11 si just having the lane watch and rear camera makes it seem much newer than what it is in interior is beautiful and sporty and the performance is good too what more could some ask for its good looking with the best manual in any car it’s good on gas and is extremely reliable

I love my 9th gen the power is more then enough and it’s punch for what it is I know people down these cars and yeah it’s not gonna blow you away but it moves. I don’t give mine an easy time and it’s never given me any problems

I hear you. I test drove a 2018 si. It feels really smooth, but its too bad they didnt give the new 1.5t VTEC

@@Camhill182 I think if they just made it rev higher, like say the turbo is low rpm boost then at 5500 it kicks a vtec change over high cam to 7500... That would be sick. But it won't happen... 😟

Rahim Damji they could have madenit possible remmeber the engine that theyre using in the si is the engine that came from honda fit.. difference is they made it turbo without dohc vtec as i remmember my honda fit before had a dohc ivtec 1.5 na
