It’s pretty good and WAY easier, although I’m playing on a really old Howarth from the high school I’m going to next fall and it’s super out of tune@@Zekes_Oboe

If you go to school, ask your director if your school owns one, if not then ask them about other directors in the district. or if you're in college ask the orchestra director or band director

I’d say if there’s a local dealer you can start there. Otherwise, there’s a place near Chicago called Oboe Chicago. Hope that helps.

One of the best ways to obtain information regarding all of the wonderful English Horns made (past and present), as well as a realistic viewpoint on all things double reed, is to contact Peter Hurd, also known as "The Oboe Whisperer." Peter is incredibly honest and never gives advice just to enrich himself, as he is more concerned in people obtaining the best oboe for THEM. You can find him with a Google search.
