Whenever I ask the Universe to fill me full of love and light, it instead adds more problems to my life which then fills me full of hate and anger. This makes me very apprehensive on whether I should ask the Universe for anything ever again.

The hardships you will face. The tests. Daylight always arrives at the right time. Not the "right" time for you (self with a small "s"). Hold on. Have faith and love in your heart. Find the strength daily to remain grateful. This life, even when darkest, is outrageously beautiful. Yes this is what happened so I spend a lot of time in prayer fasting meditation spending time in Scripture walking being able to plant flowers I like waterfalls serving helping others I have dreams like all the time and when I'm around electronic devices it mess up
