I had the good fortune to be able to meet and speak with Chris Botti in Kansas City. He is as wonderful a person as he is a Great Musician. I took a young man who was studying Music and we both were thrilled to meet him. During the show, Botti asks if there were any young people who were studying Music, and he quickly pointed to my friend and said, "Not you, l know you are!" And he was on cloud nine! After the concert, Botti says that he will be signing his CDs "Until the bitter end." My friend Had to have another CD, and we finally get in line. We were the last ones. I could see that Chris was so hot and l went and bought him a bottle of water. We finally get up to him, l hand him the water and both of us are telling him how much we enjoyed his show. I then hand him a CD for him to sign when Chris looks up to me and says, "It's Tom, right?" I was blown away that he could remember me from a crowd he met 4 hours earlier! Can't wait until he returns to Kansas City! 😃🎶🍀♥️🎶🎉🎶
