this was a bitter sweet review for me..would love to try Civet nuit or Faghia..or Ottoman Empire or Al Taif...but they are all so hard to acquire bruh..I mean, I haven't bought anything in probably 2 months and really want to get into this new world...but it's almost impossible to get em 😢

It is a tough nut to crack 🌰 You basically have to grab new releases at the time they come or buy samples from a place like Sealed essence ...it's also a very expensive rabbit hole 🐇

Well they are one place to check and they are legit but expensive You could also try Ebay or Mercari but buy from reputable sellers only...nothing worse than dropping 100s of dollars on a frag that has been tampered with in the secondary market

What, almost a two hour video, this is awesome! I almost ended up choking out a full hotel with Antiquity, turned out it's potent okay and after two sprays you could have smelled half hour later where ever I had walked hahaha. Also it doesn't take kindly freezing weather and smells something close to a yeast so when I went in to a gondola some chick was outright holding her nose the whole way down and whining to her friends hahaha. Man was I embarrased but it was funny evening. Even at the restaurant I had to eventually go back my room and scrub it with soap and just then it tamed to a tolerablea and enjoyable level for me and my table. That 5ml decant will last me years :D

With reference to your Opium EDT from 1978, the latter formulations were different from the 1978 original because IFFRA would add more health and other restrictions to the original formulation. Hence the latter formulation of Opium lacks the original scents. I remember trying out the sample bottles at the department stores in 1978 when Opium was labeled a feminine fragrance. The original Opium has proven, to me, to be a top unisex fragrance.

Once you go artisanal it's hard to go anywhere else. The number of amazing artisanal houses has exploded lately- Phronema, Elixir Attar, Adi Ale Van, Lost Tribe, Jinkoh Store, Folkwinds, Heartistry, Phoenicia, Ucca, Jinx, ....etc etc.

Yes it's full bottle worthy...but the oud doesn't come out for real until the late dry down 4 to 5 hours in...hence it's beauty first with the rose 🌹 then the beast late with the oud
