I only have an issue with the phone thing. When i see a salesman on their phone at my door, i instantly lose respect for them. It tells me they dont care about what they are doing and that their phone is more valuable than my time. Im definitely going to try the rest of these though.

Only when you said “if not totally cool” you gave away some of your power and gave them a way out. The way you asked the question even suggested that. I would said, “what I’ll do, is go around look at the gutters and come give you a quick price.”

And I wouldn’t have said “we’re helping the neighbors” I would’ve actually used a name drop and maybe they might actually know that person. The guard comes all the way down and they don’t treat you like shit cause they don’t wanna look like a shitty person to the community cause obviously your doing work there. Your welcome.
