welcome back to my channel, so I made this video in the hopes of helping out those who are incoming psychology majors. First of all, congrats!! I'll try to make more psychology related content before med school starts and the system eats me. Second, thank you so much to my new subscibers!

@merakidb if shifting is really what your heart wants and nakikita mo sarili mo sa field na 'to, it's definitely okay to shift ☺️ I'm currently in my first week with two major subjects na and I'm enjoying it kahit may hint na agad ng difficulty. At first, di talaga maiintindihan ng parents/guardian natin kahit ako nahirapan din magsabi. I just hope na kapag desidido ka na talaga sa pagsshift, you'll have the courage to approach your family about it and I hope they'll understand you. Walang masama maging irregular at wala rin naman sa pabilisan makagraduate, ang mahalaga determined tayong matapos ito at makapagtapos. Nursing gusto ko but sadly di ako nakaabot sa cut-off rate which is 85% at 81 lng rating ko sa admission (sorry lutang noong nag cat 😂) kaya im planning na mag bs psych na lng dahil sa tingin ko close related sila sa nursing (for me lng ha) through observing the mental behavior of a patient kaya thanks sa vid mo ate at buong-buo na talaga loob ko na mag bs psych 😊

Hello! as far as I know it depends anong university applyan mo if may quota yung BS psych nila. Sa UST alam ko kasi may ranking yun pag USTET tapos based sa sa grades and entrance tests so if you dont do well sa grades make sure you do well sa entrance exams :)

Hello!! honestly (coming from a no strand person hahaha di namin naabutan), wala sa strand yan. Pagdating mismo sa college, new lessons lahat so di ko naman nakita yung edge ng mga nasa STEM kesa sa HUMMS sa lower years. so Ayun dont be discouraged kasi you can average sa HS tas excel sa college like me :)

Suggestion ko po per topic - ilist niyo po yung important points sa chapter/book - state important themes/ theories from the prof as well -use quizlet online din kung nahihirapan sa topic Hope that helps po 💕

Hi Cedric! for now sa pandemic alam ko walang entrance exam sa mga colleges. Sa UST rating scale ang gagamitin nila sa admissions. for BA psych included na dun ang Statistics at Behavioral Measurement na meron din sa BS Psych. The difference is may mga subjects like more on sa Sociology and Human behavior sa BA Psych whereas more on sciences sa BS Psych like physics and zoology ganun :)

Hi Lily! honestly, ganyan din ako. Kinalimutan ko ata halos lahat ng science subjects ko in HS hahaha. Don't worry, lahat naman ng minor subjects mo like organic chemistry, or physics they will be lenient with you since alam naman nila di niyo talaga major yan. Kung nairaos namin, mas kaya niyo yan!! focus ka sa majors mo hehe, kayang kaya ipasa yang minors wag ka kabahan :)

Hi Eponine!! if psychologist 4 years college 2 years masters take the Psychologist Boards to become a licensed psychologist :) so 6 years if psychiatrist naman (doctor sa utak) you go to med 4 years college 4 years med proper take the Physician Boards 4 years residency ata for psychiatry so mas matagal hehe

What to wear : something smart casual lang, like shirt with collar or blouse (basta dapat apropriate) How to speak : speak firmly and clearly, wag mabilis magsalita baka sa kaba you trip over your words and the more you speak fast, mas halata na kabado Introduce yourself : Say your name, previous school and siguro add a fact na di ka nila makakalimutan for example, My name is Bea po I'm from UST and I am very passionate about psych. like show na eager ka talaga for this Course. na dream course mo toh ganun hehe. hope that helps!

Hello!!What to wear : something smart casual lang, like shirt with collar or blouse for girls tas polo for guys (basta dapat appropriate) How to speak : speak firmly and clearly, wag mabilis magsalita baka sa kaba you trip over your words and the more you speak fast, mas halata na kabado Introduce yourself : Say your name, previous school and siguro add a fact na di ka nila makakalimutan for example, My name is Bea po I'm from UST and I am very passionate about psych. Why Psychology? say na, you have always wanted to study about human behavior (how they think, feel and behave) and your goal is to become a psychologist that your school will be proud of. like show na eager ka talaga for this Course. na dream course mo toh ganun. sabihin mo, you are very hardworking and persistent, na kahit di ka natanggap before you are still pushing for your dream. hope that helps!
