Thank you sir for the wonderful tips. In fact I bought the Basics of Biblical Hebrew written by you and Gary.D. Pratico 10 years back and learnt to read and write and talk studying from home. After studying from your book I am able to translate the Hebrew from the scratch. Very systematically written for the benefit of the readers..

Thanks, this is encouraging. I stumbled across this helpful vid while taking a break from the Pratico-Van Pelt grammar book ( in which I am in chapter 30, so approaching the end; next will have to come reading, from the accompanying Biblical reader). Btw folks: if you happen to be working from this particular book, then **DO** by all means get the accompanying four-page laminated grammar summary. It helps greatly seeing paradigms laid out on a folding laminated sheet, for super-quick reference. The chore of turning pages can sometimes tempt us to skimp on memorization and repetition and checking. (signed) Toomas Karmo, in Nõo Rural Municipality, Estonia
