If the adenium caudex is soft reduce watering to the plant, water the plant once in a week in a very minimal quantity . keep the plant in a place where it can get 8 hrs of direct sunlight. It will be fine in 20 to 30 days. If the caudex softness is very severe, remove the plant from the soil and keep in a shady place for a month.. once the caudex gets dried, replant it.

All plants come with single stem only. Let the stem to grow to 1.5 feet height, when the stem thickness reach 1 to 1.5 cm prune the stem above the grafted area. that will promote more branches. Have posted a pruning video, have a chk on it.

My adenium plant is six months old... can I prune them now? One plant has grown 5” tall and the other is 3” tall. The thickness of the stems are just 1 cm to 1 1/2 cm. I haven’t given them any solid fertiliser except for the regular liquid fertilisers that I give to other plants. Please reply. TIA.
