The best advice is the one about freeing your mind to just shoot whatever you feel like shooting. Super chill video, love your style!

Thank you and awesome photography. Would really like all of your photos as a side by side comparison with digital, just to understand the difference, like you did one.

The Minolta takes some good photos! Would you recommend that, or should I invest in a mju or something
@SISSI_LU3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for checking out the video! This Minolta isn’t my favorite camera but it definitely gets the job done! The lens isn’t as sharp as Olympus and it’s lot chunkier than mju. But for the price I got it for ($7.99) it’s totally worth it!

Can I leave expired films half used in camera for using it later ??

I have a 1 year old expired film. Is it still good to use even if I only have a PNS and I don’t want to overexpose it?
@SISSI_LU2 жыл бұрын
Yup you are probably fine!

Sissi! Fan from the insta. Do you think the rule of thumb of ‘losing a stop every decade expired’ works? Or should I look for something a little more specific when I buy expired film? I’m no baby or anything when it comes to film photography but I’ve just never jumped in to expired film and frankly I don’t know too much. Thanks!
@SISSI_LU3 жыл бұрын
Hi James! Thanks for checking out the video! I actually cut out the part where I mentioned about the “overexpose 1 stop per decade” rule in the final cut of the video, because it was getting too long haha. Yes! The general rule is recommended, but I usually just use a simple p+s for the expired film, and hacking the dx code is just too much work 😂 so I don’t do it. For me, I try not to expect too much from shooting expired films, so I just load it up and shoot whatever as is. Let me know how it goes when you give it a try! And remember to have fun!

was this over exposed? i hear that tip floating around and I'm not sure its true. if this is box speed then yea it looks great, ill stick to that.

will 2 - 3 years of expired film still work? not talking about antique finds
@Exxcalibur1862 жыл бұрын
Anything newer than 10 years old should basically work like new, unless it was stored badly.
