I wouldn't have thought of researching the town and event demographic to alter the supplies you bring, that's genius!! 😍

I’d like to add a #8 - you can only sell as much as you bring! Make a DREAM target gross income for your event - let’s say it’s $1k - and then bring double that amount of your product in retail value. So if I want to make $1k in sales, the goal would be to prepare $2k worth of inventory. Break that down by the demographic of the area (as you indicated in #1) and you can figure out how much of each item to prepare and bring. You may go under or over that target, but regardless, you were prepared and/or now have product for the future. It will also help you set your expectations if you have limited inventory and are just trying markets out to see what people are interested in. Doing this helped me recognize how often I can/should do markets, and revealed that I need to take more time to build up my product between booths. Anyway, love your content! You keep me so motivated! And I hope that you have the best day 🥰

3:24: Some of these venues charge three-figure fees. Anything above $75, and even below, I am expecting an event report: anticipated volume for the event, area demographics, weather, etc. I believe that is what you are paying towards. Of course, this may not be the norm, but it should be done to support small businesses. Also, some of these payment processing apps are used by many of these vendors. I wonder if the data can be scraped from their reports?

I just had a recent craft show and when it was done I literally bawled my eyes out to my mom cause I only made 76 dollars and the table fee was 60 dollars... Also got only 3 and a half hours of sleep that night so not the best this was my third craft show btw other two weren't that well either

Congrats on making the $76!!! Every pop-up is a success in one way or another. Although you might not have hit your sales goal, you probably learned a thing or two that will make your next pop-up even better! And sometimes, it's just a slower day at the market and there's nothing you can do other than stay optimistic for the next one:)

8:35 I don’t judge base of someone set up. I judge you based on how stuck up your personality is. Cause I’ve attended a bunch of pop up whether as a customer or an vendor where I would ask the vendor questions about the product or a price and the would deadass give a stank look or side eye you and will ignore you if you say hi. I would deadass walk away 😂 Now if you took the time to invest on your booth I would compliment you and ask where you get a stand but tbh idk if you invest in a stand or a table clothes with your brand name on it. The only thing I care about is whether or not you are respectful and what’s on your table
@monicarazak10 ай бұрын
Rude vendors are definitely a turn-off!! I 100% agree that your kind personality and customer service are the KEY to being successful. Paired with a good looking booth, vendors will 100% get even more people to stop by! (Although I’m just like you, I stop by everyone’s booths lol:))

I feel like it might be something youre doing on the back end of uploading these videos but every time i watch ur videos recently they load very slow and weird and the words are out of sync with the movements until i back out and redo it like 6 times and its only on your videos, nobody else’s. I jist wanted to let u know in case other people are experiencing the same thing so u can try to fix it. I’m not really sure
