These are called "backronyms", and they're a scourge upon mankind. One of the most painful tasks I ever had as a developer was when a manager would come up with an AWESOME acronym, and then ask us to plug in random tech-words to make it work. Needless to say, there were usually two sets of words for every backronym: The one we put on the documentation, and the one we used in-team to describe said manager.

Ouch. I tried making an actual acronym for a level up system and the closest I got was VESTCPH clearly couldn't go too far because it just being a letter smash at the end. Vigor (physical strength) Energy (magical Strength) Speed (for physical speed) Tempo (magical speed- btw magic and music are closely related here) Cover (phydical defence) Protection (magical defence-need to find a music word for it) Health... Health. This was hard enough to get a word in without restraints and now thibking what y'all have to do just hurts.

Kind of reminds me of ARKS from Phantasy Star Online 2- it stands for Artificial Relict to Keep Species, which is made worse by their space mechs which are called A.I.S., which stands for ARKS Intercept Silhouette, so the full acronym for that one would be Artificial Relict to Keep Species Intercept Silhouette

SPECIAL is in every single Fallout game since the first, it's literally the name of the entire Stat system that forwent the GURPS (Generic Universal Role Playing System) system of stats, for example it's on the machine in Easy Pete's cabin that you assign your stats on in Fallout: New Vegas.

well, one of my professor made a special program that he called "STR.A.G.E." an Italian word for disaster or bloodshed that generate the most difficult test immaginable, the acronym stand for : STRumento Automatico di Generazione Esami (automatic instrument for exam generation).
