I love the Lego games, but honestly the older ones that didn't use the movie audio clips were better. Lego Darth Vader pantomiming "I am your father" by holding up a picture of Lego babies and pointing at Luke will always be one of my favorite moments

Agreed entirely. I stopped playing the Lego games for a long time, only to rediscover them through youtube videos after a certain point and be really confused by them suddenly having voice acting.

They've kinda started doing both. I think they now make it without dialogue in mind. In the new Star Wars game you can turn off dialogue and replace it with the mumbles but it's actually a lot more fun to have it on.

While I like the creativity of the pantomimes, I also love Lego Lord of the Rings and the creativity that they use to insert gags on top of the very serious dialog. It's really fun.

You've almost singlehandedly kept me from going into misery hibernation (I'm sitting inside alone everyday, w/only out-of-state friend texts, my Series X & PS5 for company. Oh, the book is waaay more brutal. Here’s some examples: Dennis Nedry is blinded, disemboweled, holds his own intestines for awhile, collapses, then is eaten with his last thought being he hopes it ends soon. John Hammond is eaten alive by compy’s, which in the book are venomous. Remember that guy’s death in the Lost World? Exactly that. During the raptor chase in the visitor center, Alan Grant yeets a baby raptor at the one chasing him. It’s disemboweled and eaten quickly.

I never knew what happened, because the sounds freaked me out. I'd just fast forward to when the lawyer is on that floating platform. Making my friend watch it with me made me realize it wasn't nearly as scary as I thought it was, and I've been fine with it since.

As a result, I've never been more disappointed by a film than I have been by Jurassic World. Has none of what makes the original 3 so special to me. Fun fact: In the Lego Star Wars: Complete Saga game for the xbox 360, if you're playing through the game in its two-player co-op mode, the fight level between Obi-Wan and Anakin actually has each character played by one of the players. You have to jump through the whole level's worth of parkour obstacles together, and then when you reach the last platform you _both_ get a boss health bar, and have to fight each other to the death. It's weird, but a very cool little surprise if you ever manage to make it past the lava pit platforming with the game's hilarious 2-player camera movements.

The one that always stood out to me (not in the video) is Kylo ren using the force to torture Rey in the movie to extract information In the Lego game he’s tickling her with a feather

Should do a followup about how some of the Lego recreations are even more messed up than the movies they're based on. Like Obi-Wan defeating General Grievous. The movie version is pretty brutal, with Obi-Wan burning Grievous' organs with a laser blast. In the most recent Lego Star Wars version, Obi-Wan instead catches Grievous' head after it pops off his malfunctioning body, hurls said head into the air, and blasts it. All while still saying "So uncivilized"

Ayyy a LEGO games list! This was right up my alley XD (As much as I got confused with the footage of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga being described and labelled as the original LEGO SW game from 2005 in the video and now seeing The Complete Saga listed in the description...! XD To be fair, TT Games had to do things a few times over when it came to SW...AOTC's Geonosis Arena and ROTJ's Battle of Endor being prime examples, as they were each created ground up, no less than three unique times!)

Speaking of unicorn meat, instead of Voldemort sucking on a dead unicorn's blood, Lego Harry Potter 1 - 4 had him hovering menacingly towards the unicorn with a knife and fork.

Lego the Hobbit. The part where Gollum beats, kills, and then eats the Goblin that fell with Bilbo, gets changed to where a stunned Goblin helps you escape Gollum.

Lego The Lord of the Rings DS doesn't contain the pinball coffin (It's a VERY different game to it's console equivalents), but it does have the Nazgul being scared off by giant plants, owls and swarms of angry bees.

The title cards for each listing are basically unreadable for some of us visually impaired viewers. I have very little trouble with your videos in general, but the cards with the number, title, and pun are so bright that I can't read the white text at all. I know the green is your signature color, but even a simple outline to the text would really help, I hate missing out on the puns! Thanks for your work and time. 💜

The chicken-as-an-arrow laying an egg bit in LEGGO Lord of the Rings for Borromir’s PG death is a reference to Rambo parody movie Hot Shots Part Deux where there’s a comedy bow-and-arrow fight and their version of John Rambo runs out of arrows so grabs a chicken (who lays an egg on the villian’s chest from it’s position inside his chest after getting shot with it).

Fun fact about Nedry's death scene: in the book that the movie is based on, it's *even worse.* The book goes into quite a bit of detail with how the dinosaur toys with him, how he cannot see anything, and just how painful his end is.

As someone who played countless hours of the original Lego Star Wars games, I gotta say the Lego games really went downhill after they started adding dialogue... The early games had a perfect mix of storytelling, simple humor and great gameplay

I had a teacher in maybe 5th or 6th grade science that used a Laserdisc (yes, it was in the 90s) copy of "Indy and the Holy Grail" in class once. We had some physics problem to figure out, what I remember was something about trying to cross a deadly pit using a selection of items. She would play the "He chose poorly/ You chose wisely" scenes depending whether your answer was feasible or not, including the part when the guy ages rapidly.

I was hoping for the part in The Temple of Doom where instead of getting his heart pulled out and burned alive, the glut for the sacrifice just came back up having everything but his boxers burned away. That was hilarious

From lego clone wars, the torture scene (Grievious torturing a jedi I can't remember the name of) is toned down to "keeping the cup of coffee just out of reach", but on the other hand, Grievious killing the mon calamari jedi was more traumatic than in the series.
