Suddenly 20 steps towards the beach, a long dark shadow passed two feet beside me and I just froze. The water was still shallow. 😂 All of a sudden, up popped a large seal. What makes me frustrated listening to the wild dog story is how the parents chose to soften things to the kids so they never even understood the danger. If something is dangerous, say it is! It does not damage a child. A 6 year old will understand. You don't need to lie to your kids if it's going to potentially save their lives.
@valkyr_2 жыл бұрын
This. That woman did her child a huge disservice by not stressing to her to NOT go up to random dogs especially knowing that they were strays -- and nearly got her kid/herself mauled in the process then had the nerve to act like she was so brave to save her child when it was her own negligence that got them in that situation in the first place. Even if it isn't feral; don't just wander up to random dogs.🤦🏻♀️

Was anyone else immediately irritated with the vacationing neglectful mom?? First of all, don't freaking nap while your kids are swimming in or playing by a freaking ocean! Secondly, always be cautious with any kind of stray dog approaching you or YOUR CHILD! Oh, two or three of the cute little doggies show up....drifting back to sleep is a great idea. NO!! It shouldn't have gotten to the point it even got to!! My God! Some people have excellent parental instincts, some people have regular survival instincts that can definitely suffice to be basic parental instincts....some people have children and HAVE NONE OF THE ABOVE!! Edit: the more I think on it the angrier I get! And I don't get actually mad easily (I'm just irritated usually or disappointed) but if this mom happens upon the comments somehow in the KZbin universe....you are not a super mom for your "display", you could have prevented trauma to yourself and your child but you were too thoughtless and lazy to do so. I really hope you've gotten better since the incident for your child's sake.

I'm from Australia. When I was a teenager my family used to holiday in NSW on the beach. One trip we had a holiday apartment with a balcony over looking the beach. I happened to be out enjoying the view when i noticed 2 kids playing in the sand. One of the 2 was burying the other as you do at the beach. Not long after the one who wasn't buried started running to his parents. Next thing I knew emergency services where pulling up and there was people screaming on the beach. The 2 kids were brothers. Unfortunately the brother doing the burying had dug the hole too deep and his brother had sand up to his neck. Sadly for the family their beach holiday was destroyed. The emergency services couldn't get him out in time. I watched people frantically digging to free this poor kid. Hearing the screams of his family. I never wanted to go back to that place again. To this day I think of that family. I watch my kids at all times on the beach and everywhere really.

A day at the beach can be amazing, but swim in between the flags, listen to the lifeguards and always keep an eye on your kids if you bring any. If you don't know what you're looking for, don't even go picking seashells because people can so easily pick up jellyfish when looking for shells. Don't stick your hands in rock pools and beware of where you're standing. Also the the love of God do not go near tall grass. All of these stories were great and pretty scary. But the one with the shark had me laughing so hard and it was much needed. That last story was really scary though. We were at the beach and this guy was trapped in the waves and he couldn’t touch the ground. My dad had to help him and the fear was almost overwhelming. Thanks for the stories.

Her child almost drowns and the mother slaps him while the rest of the family laughs? I guess she wonders why they never come to visit her now.

10:33 is giving me anxiety. I love animals that I myself would pick up just about anything… except the blue ringed octopus. That’s what it sounds like here. Those things are dangerous and deadly. And that’s why I respect animals especially the beneficial ones like ladybirds

So Matti gets stabbed in the stomach and you’re shocked that a helicopter comes? I feel like a helicopter is warranted in this case.

Especially since they're in the middle of a beach which might have been massive. If a regular ambulance comes it might not be able to offroad, amd that will slow down things too much
