The story his mother missing David was sad. My grandma has beliefs that when someone is close to dying. Passed loved ones would visit them, possibly to make the transition to the next life more comforting. No one else can see them but the one who is close to passing. I believe his mother was actually experiencing a supernatural occurrence and she is NOT crazy from being so grief stricken.
@matthewenfinger766
@matthewenfinger766 10 ай бұрын
Honestly that could be true. But there's no way to ever prove it. Although my brothers ex's mom spent the last few weeks of her life in the hospital and said that her deceased husband kept visiting her at night. That he kept trying to do the NASTY with her. And yes, she referred to it as the NASTY. And before anyone asks, no it wasn't someone at the hospital trying to take advantage of her. She had family staying with her at all times. So I guess it's possible her deceased husband was trying to get some loving from her or she could of had dementia and was hallucinating/dreaming. Like I said we'll neve4 be able to prove it one way or the other.

It's a VERY common thing for dying people to see pets or loved ones who are already dead. Regardless of why the phenomenon happens, it's super comforting to thinking that we will see dead loved ones before we die.

@@matthewenfinger766 There is no way to prove it as it would be disrespectful to even try to prove this. For the lady in story 2 I understand not wanting a dirty kitchen cause I'm always going and checking on the dishes even the floors just to make sure cause that area of the house gets a lot of traffic. But also as someone who is expecting to get knee surgery soon I wouldn't have taken the chance or risk just in case I made the situation worse. But I'm glad you are safe and everything worked out.

That first story just hit far too close to home for me. My parents didn't separate until long after I was out of the house, but having a drugged up mom who acted just- unstable like that was something that kept me awake at night more often than not. Nothing terrifies me more than my mom relapsing or showing up late at night at the house I'm currently in after what she did. I hope the OP in the first story is alright because I can't imagine how traumatic seeing your own parent like that was.

I think that 'David" was really present in some fashion. Dementia and the mind are so hard to cope with. But I do believe she felt something present that felt like her husband. My own mom is losing her memory and gets scattered very easily, it is very hard to watch this once super social and outgoing woman (in many ways she still is) experience these memory deficits so often now. I thank the Cosmos she still knows her children at 97, but its sad to see her slipping.

I’ll never understand why ppl call friends or relatives when they suspect a burglary or home invasion. Unless it’s a nearby cop or combat service member, the 1st call is always 911… better yet take a trip to the local arms shop to purchase a “device” with some lessons along with some ASCCI insurance.

I can't speak for everybody, but my family live right down the street and they can walk here faster than the cops can get here. If I'm afraid for my life, they can get here in under a minute with a gun. Sure I'll be on the phone with the cops but I'm letting my family know first so someone can be here faster.

The first story hurt my heart man…I understand his initial fear but I’m sure she wasn’t going to hurt either of them. She’s a homeless, drug addicted, broken woman, of course she’s going to have some sort of protection or take the opportunity to acquire some more. The fact that she didn’t respond to the police violently, and the reaction she had towards seeing her son proves that…It’s been ten years man, you’d think he would have figured that out by now. Forgive her for yourself, not for her sake, because you sound like a deeply troubled and sad person.

As a person who grew up being abused by my mother until I was taken away from her, and then being abused by her when we reconnected, I honestly am not surprised OP was afraid. Just because she is a mother doesn't make her some saint. There are abusive mothers who are violent. My mother's moods would change quickly, and she was even able to choke her own mother, my grandmother, in front of me, because of a minor argument. This woman chose the drugs and that lifestyle over her husband and child. She might be too far gone.

Seems like you’ve never had a bad addict as a parent. If they’re that throwed off, when they’re high, they’re completely unpredictable. She could be on meth and have been up for 2 weeks at that point and extremely paranoid. If that was the case and her son surprised her rummaging she might hallucinate and think he was someone else, she might recognize him and have a delusion that he is a robot that looks like him that was sent to kidnap her. Sure she didn’t react badly to the police but you have absolutely zero way to know her state of mind. Also don’t forget, she literally broke into the house. There was nothing wrong with the kids reaction. You are right about forgiving her, especially for the sake of yourself, you must do that to emotionally process it otherwise you’ll be unaware of how badly it’s weighing you down. But that mother is absolutely not entitled to anything from her child, other than basic human respect.

I’m curious as to why the mountain lion acted in such a way. I’m not an animal expert. By any means, I just know that mountain lions are generally more shy creatures, but will get aggressive if you get too close, especially if it’s a Mother mountain lion. Perhaps it was starving, or sick? Or am I just more ignorant to how wildlife acts? (I technically have mountain lions close to where I live, and I was taught certain ways to protect yourself from them If you happen to run into them on a hike, but I don’t know too much about them as animals) Are there any zoologist or rangers in the comments that can give an explanation for its behavior?

I love your videos, been watching for years. I wanted to ask if you would consider changing the bird noises at the end of the video. Everytime I hear it, it's like morning arrives, and then to top it all off, it also means the end of an amazing video I watched all the way to the end. If I don't wanna stir from bed and I don't get a let's read video next. I have to get up and pick one.(I know first world problems) maybe you would grace us with a poll to ask about the chirping birds at the end. But either way I'm always gonna listen to let's read when I have the chance.
