So. The guy in the second story sees a man in a tuxedo in the middle of nowhere, gets scared so he freakin shoots the guy? If it WAS a person he wouldve just committed murder! Especially when the "guy" wasnt near him or coming towards him. Could NOT say it was self defense! Honestly in that story, the person who was telling it scares me more than a random weirdo walking through the bush. Because I've definetely been in the middle of nowhere before , sometimes walking around wearing weird shit..good to know some retard might shot me! I love you Swamp but that story ticked me off! Keep up the Great work though! :)
@ninjaobsessed5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that's about how I felt, too. Don't shoot people just because you're scare, especially when the guy seems to be minding his own damn business. He might've been filming a Slenderman movie with friends. Jumpin' clams, man...

I agree about the lesson but also pay attention to detail ive moved about with loaded guns/unloaded guns and i religiously make sure its not pointed at anyone safetys on and i dont got my finger on the trigger. Could somthing still happen yes but those 3 rules will hopefully keep it a embarrassing story about me blasting a tree. Theres always a risk thats why we gotta do it religiously or people could get hurt or killed

Yeah I dont know why you would shoot a guy in a tux in the woods they could have been filming a drug commercial or something.

The leaves are falling, there’s Jumping Clams as far as the eye can see. Great as ever Swamp! The scariest story was buddy dying from the accidental rifle discharge. Not sure what the lights were, maybe Fey (fae)?lights or maybe a will o wisp. As for the gentleman in the Tux, I’m guessing something to due with the occult. A friend grew up around an area with a history of the occult and he said when he was a kid ,he and his mom were walking at night along a road by the edge of town that had a field on one side and thick forest on the other.When they saw this guy in a fancy suit and carrying a brief case walking towards them. He was about 6ft from them and without looking at them or saying anything he suddenly vered away and walked straight into the woods. This was late into the evening and it was incredibly dark. But the guy didn’t have a flashlight or anything. But that apparently didn’t disuad the dude. My buddy said it was incredibly creepy and he and his mom went straight home after that. Never heard anything about the dude since.

That story #3 is just so sad. I’m not a gun owner but I’m thinking of getting one just for home protection. You just never know.
@wiggy22655 жыл бұрын
Mrsgracieteach75 honestly it’s all about weapon safety. Never put your finger in the trigger well unless you are ready to shoot. Treat every gun as if it was loaded. Safety’s on guns can fail so never rely on it.
@falllinemaniac5 жыл бұрын
Consider that the odds of negligent discharge AKA "accidents" are about zero if no guns are available. Meanwhile the odds of one skyrocket when one is brought home. Especially if the new owner is not out training regularly to become more accurate and install good movement patterns and SAFETY PROTOCOL. A willingness to fight is far more important than having a firearm on the property. Kendrick Castillo fought a school shooter with help from classmates. He didn't survive but his school did because he chose to fight and not just die.
@Mrsgracieteach755 жыл бұрын
julian lobato I agree ☝🏻 but obviously I would get proper training. I have a friend that owns a company in which trains people that want to be gun owners. We use the the gun range and so on.
@falllinemaniac5 жыл бұрын

Jumping claims! Another fine video sir. I went hunting once when I was a kid and as my dad and I sat there waiting two trees at the bottom of the hill we were on started having the hell shaken out of them. We couldn't see what was doing and no noise was made. The way they were being shaken I have a hard time believing it qas a deer shaking two trees at once. Terrible story about the hunter killing his friend. What I don’t understand is why the guns were loaded, I mean I carry a pistol concealed on me everyday (I live in Florida) with no real safety, just a holster that covers the trigger guard and I always have a bullet chambered. With hunting however I don’t understand driving with it loaded (I mean most hunting rifles hold 5 rounds), let alone a bullet chambered and without the safety on to top it all off. I never hand anyone a gun without emptying out the bullets first. I’m just saying why not wait until you take the guns out of the truck at the hunting spot to load them. Seems to me the gun was put in the truck not only loaded but with a bullet chambered and the rifle was cocked and the safety was off, that’s a recipe for a disastrous accident and it was definitely an accident but whoever loaded that gun and chambered the bullet and left it cocked with the safety off is much more at fault for the accident, not necessarily who grabbed the gun, although I would never grab a gun without paying attention and definitely would not put my thumb or finger in the trigger guard. That obviously contributed to the accident as well. Still my mind just keeps going back to the gun being loaded with a bullet chambered, cocked and no safety on. That’s extremely careless. I’m sorry for your dad and his friends. Thats exactly why I am so careful all the time with guns. I have friends who like to play around with their guns as if they have no idea what kind of repercussions an accident with a gun could have and I’m sorry your dad and his friends found that out the hard way. I hope none of my friends have to the learn the hard way like that. The first time I ever shot a gun, I realized how powerful it was, that I held life and death in my hands and I’ve never been anything but careful since I bought my first one. I quit drinking alcohol the day I bought it because alcohol and guns don’t mix, I took a gun safety class (which none of my friends have), I had to change a lot of things about myself to feel responsible enough to wield that much power on a daily basis. Accidents happen all the time and they are truly accidents but I’ve trained myself to minimize the chance of myself having an accident with a gun to as high of a degree as possible. What I’m saying is that if anyone here ever decides to own a gun, take safety classes, leave your gun unloaded (triple, actually quadruple check, most accidents happen because people don’t think a gun is loaded, usually they don’t see the bullet hidden in the chamber) but if it’s for personal protection 24/7 like mine and in that case make sure you buy the correct holster for your gun that completely covers the trigger guard, also never ever put your thumb or finger in the trigger guard unless you are aiming at something to shoot. Also never take your gun out of its holster unless you are loading, unloading, cleaning it or about to aim at and shoot something, even then be aware of your surroundings and especially what’s behind your target. If you shoot someone with a .357 (for instance) that’s coming at you and you need to defend yourself, please make sure there isn’t an innocent bystander anywhere behind them including a car driving by because that bullet could easily go through the person attacking you and hit people behind them. The reason I carry a .357 is because I could literally shoot someone through my car door without rolling down the window or getting out of the car, this would be a scenario where someone is at your car window with a gun trying to carjack you, rob you or worse. I could shoot them through the car door and they’d never even see it coming. The most important rule of all is never point a gun at anyone or anything (always pay attention where the barrel is pointed) even if you think it’s unloaded, just keep the barrel pointed towards the ground. Unless you are aiming to shoot something. That will prevent nearly any accident from ever happening, always assume a gun is loaded and that it could fire without you even pulling the trigger, even if you 100% believe it isn’t loaded. If everyone did that most accidents would never happen. I’m just glad your father didn’t fall into a deep despair to kill himself out of guilt over the accident because I’m sure some people would and that’d just create more tragedy for everyone.
