7 TRUTHS about Portuguese, Inquisition & Goemcho Saib by Fr Nelson Lobo

Truth 1- Portuguese did not come to conquer Goa. The Goans invited the Portuguese.
Truth 2-The Portuguese did not capture the whole of Goa. Many parts of Goa were gifted to them by the local kings.
Truth 3- Many Goans the local gaumkars and upper caste natives supported the Portuguese.
Truth 4-SFX was not the first to write the letter requesting inquisition. Inquisition started in Goa after the death of SFX.
Truth 5-Inquisition was only for the new christian converts and NOT for all goans.
Truth 6- SFX stayed in Goa for only about 7 months. No way he could supervise inquisition in such a short time.
Truth 7- People gave the title Goemcho Saib to SFX and Not to Lord Parshuram because people have experienced miracles after seeking intercession of SFX.

Migration started in goa somewhere in the meddling of 17th century. Do you know what type of culture was prevailing at that time in goa before1510? If you want to know l will tell you in detail because I am a gaunkar we were part of that culture which was going on at that time of history.

St.Francis Xavier, has written the letter to the King of Portugal regarding Inquisition when he was in Indonesia Island and in this letter he has mentioned only of MOIRS and JEWS. Further Inquisition had been enforced in Goa 15 years after St.Francis Xavier death by then Portuguse Queen.The first time Inquisition was enforced in Spain

During Adilshaah's rule, only the high castes were not happy, because they were considered to be untrustworthy., as such high positions were denied. Thus the frustrated lot conspired with the Portuguese who were having a nice life under the patronage of Zamorim kings in Kerala. When the Portuguese came, there was only Brahminism and their temples were their exclusive properties, wherein the low castes were only used for their maintenance, with very poor pay. So they were dens of exploitation, wherein a few were leaving in luxury at the cost of others misery. How the word Hinduism came is a mystery just like Goemcho Saib. But, one thing is clear, the destruction of Brahmin temples was a punishment for the chicanery of the high castes. Otherwise how come the Portuguese suddenly made a U turn against their godfathers who helped them in the conquest of Goa?
