Big reason support classes are not played often is because it can be stressful dealing with immature players. When things are going wrong the support classes are the first to go in-front of the verbal fire squad. It's not fun having someone chide you because you couldn't save them in time and this doesn't just happen to bad healers either. I've been in groups where the healer had done a an outstanding job through most of the dungeon. Then one players dies because they were being stupid and I get the kick vote pop up from said player. It honestly takes someone with thick skin to play a support class and handle the mass amount of flack they get from immature players.

Yeah. That's one of the reasons I quit healing. Plus they just changed it to the point that it wasn't fun for me anymore. I want to play the game to relax, not be stressed out & having to try to switch targets, try to heal with 2 second upload delay only to have the person die a nanosecond before the heal could land. Then the players stand in crud or don't move out of the way of things, run away from the tank with adds instead of bringing them to the tank, or don't pull adds off of the healer so heals are getting interrupted. Tank pulls more than he/she can handle, doesn't taunt so healer is left trying to heal everyone at the same time as well as heal themselves, and runs out of mana. Or tank pulls when healer is low mana. Then everyone blames the healer for not healing enough. Or blames the tank for not being able to taunt adds that are too far away to taunt bc the players are running around like headless chickens out of range of healing & away from the tank. Oh, and special shoutout to the people who get one of those aoes on them that follows them and go stand on top of other players when they are supposed to get away from them. LOL.

So true. My main is a tank, but I'm learning to use DPS talents with her specifically so I don't have to tank in dungeons for exactly this reason. 😂😂😂😭

I quit healing altogether myself, One guy dies because I couldn't heal him fast enough and here comes the kick spam, another was someone took some damage because I ran out of mana and he did his best to try to get me kicked even though he didn't die.

As a healer myself, a lot of the time I just stopped caring. Mostly due to the toxicity of DPS players in general. 'I died from a mechanic I had to avoid, blame the healer.' 'I pulled a bunch of trash packs ahead of the tank and died? Healer sucks, cuss them out, insult them and harass them.' 'I ran out of buff food, obviously the healers fault.' Yes, playing a healer can be fun, with the right people, or in some cases the group is just completely silent. I like those ones.... But a rather staggering amount of people are incredibly vocal, and prone to blaming every single hitch on something that the healer should have been able to 'fix'. Even in situations that they have no control over, like DPS standing in fire.. So, a little sympathy for your healers folks, sometimes when I'm waiting in que, I also tend to forget I was qued, and when it pops up, my attitude may have changed from a '.. Well maybe it'll be nice' to... 'Yeah, I'm not willing to put up with harassment right now.. thanks, but no thanks. -hits decline-' Or I'm not getting a que bag, which softens the blow. Respect your healers folks, a lot of us have become cynical over the years.

i have a lot of respect for healers, i played dps a lot and tank for 1 dungeon, but i would never touch a healer because youre basically the caretaker for 4-24 suicidal children, and holy shit that sounds like a lot of work...

Then you have the tanks who don't wait between pulls & who pull when you tell them you are low mana or who pull too much & get mad you can't heal them through it bc they don't have sufficient mitigation & HP. Or even worse when they can't keep aggro off of you & you are getting slammed but they expect you to heal them. Then there's the dps who run away from you out of range or los and run mobs away from the tank so the tank can't taunt.

@@mycats7321 yeah i had that type of tank in my last few dungeons, ironically only in the dungeons after i entered tbc, and we wiped a few times, and blamed it on the healer or the druid who never played a druid before and has to learn how a feral druid works...

@@dielaberbrudergaming6288 It's so annoying when they do that. They refuse to recognize that they are the ones causing the problem because they lack patience or a sense of strategy. There is no tolerance for players who are new at a particular class or who are having to re-learn because of massive changes to how the spec works. I used to enjoy healing, but after they kept changing things & my internet service got progressively worse, it was just no longer fun for me. I ended up having to get a new ISP but my only options out here are a really crappy satellite with tech support in India who can't understand simple concepts & who lie about everything or crappy satellite with American tech support who are apologetic and understanding, but can't really do anything on their end most of the time. Since the upload times are inconsistent, it can take anywhere from 1.5 seconds to 10seconds for an instant cast spell to go through. On bad days it can be more than 30 second delay.

You forgot kill stealers, people running around low level areas killing things that take too long to respawn that are important for quests or just normal mobs so people can't farm

It's 2019 and I DO NOT HAVE a microphone. Some idiot in Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, was trying to talk to me, even saying "ok, you won't talk to me ?" NOT EVERYONE WANTS TO USE A MICROPHONE FOR WHATEVER REASONS. Maybe i am a mute and cannot talk, anyone thought of that ? or a an old person who doesn't want people to know their age. Or whatever other reasons. Stop assuming if you have no proof. PS : i have no cellphone or any other mobile crappy device.

Female WoW player here with no microphone. I'm not even fully sure what Discord is and I"ve never voice chatted with a group or raid, unless you count being on the phone with friends while we're playing together in game. I play both male and female avatars and my gender has never been an issue. It just doesn't come up.

I have a microphone headset just don't like to use it sound from my speakers is better and never liked wearing a headset. I'm a guy who always rolled male characters but for classic I rolled a female toon for the first time to change things up. My guild mates know I'm a man but pug groups don't but I don't flirt with them either. I can't say my toon has been hit on or anything but a few guys in pug groups have blown my character kisses and such also it seems people are more willing to randomly group with you but also explain things about the game that I didn't ask. Been an interesting social experiment.

@@TheAtkey I remember playing a female toon in UO back in the day. Dude just gave me the best weapon in the game at the time, I didn't ask, didn't flirt, didn't even know him! Dude just came up to me in a dungeon and initiated trade. It was weird actually. Kinda stopped making female toons after that.

any skinners out there probably hate the players that while you are farming mobs to skin come along and start tapping with aoe everything you are killing and then don't loot so you can skin, that's the moment when I wish there was a option to kill your own faction

yeah in the old days the loot would switch to free to loot before the critter vansihed so you could loot it and skin it ... not anymore though ... heck then they have the gal to say they want gold .. i tell them all that trash you killed and left those greys behind on ... well i just made your 10g on it ...

I also hate when you have someone who follows you around when you are trying to skin & as soon as you loot, they start skinning your mobs. Sometimes they will just stand on the corpses and wait and wait and wait. Same with mobs that can be mined.

I'm female player too but I play male character, and people really have problem with that, for some reason. A Man playing female character literally told me I can't play male character lol. When I asked why he plays female char then, he said that if guy plays fem char it's normal but girl playing as male char is wrong lol. People are sometimes really werid.

I hate being that class (like hunter) that gets a lot of hate in the dungeon, like one little mistake like dragging two trash mobs they act like you've just killed the whole dungeon and killed their account. Like once I had a tank arguing with our healer and slowing the rest of us down, I told the others that I'll happily pipe up about how stupid it is to argue over a level 40 dungeon and who's stronger healer or tank but sadly I'm a hunter and it'll just make things worse having a hunter tell them to stop acting like kids. At least that joke cheered everyone up. (Minus the tank)

I hate dps who pull in a dungeon or raid. I play tank and my job as a tank is to pull an appropriate amount of mobs without overwhelming myself or my party (i play pretty casually with friends so I never go over the top with my pulls), but when the dps i party with through dungeon finder or whatever just runs ahead and pulls everything in sight without stopping it INFURIATES ME! Don't be that person, know your roles and stick with them. PLEASE!!!

yea, if im playing a tank, odds are i am not very comfortable(i main rogue). i will move slower than the people who do nothing but tank, and i certainly wont have the gear to stand up to 4 packs at once. you start causing wipes because you weren't being patient, and thought it would help to pull 2 extra packs of mobs, i WILL instigate a vote-kick against you for pulling. that said, if its something that was an accident(IE an AoE clipped a patrol, etc), i won't go after you, unless its a constant issue

As a tank main I have to agree that DPS facepulls are the worst, especially when the DPS CONSTANTLY RUN AWAY FROM THE TANK. With BFA aggro the way it is, grabbing aggro isn't as simple as one or two globals, and if the DPS runs from the tank, not only is that effort chasing that mob down, but the existing mob I've pulled is also losing threat because I can't face two directions at once. Really makes me wish I could lifegrip some of these guys, let me tell you. And worst of all, this isn't a once in a lifetime occurrence. This shit happens all. the damn. time.

My pet peeves are the Un-Tank (the Warrior who appears in the group with two swords and mediocre armor who manages to take damage so fast that I cannot heal him) and the Racer (another Warrior who treats the dungeon as a time trial, runs constantly so the healer can't possibly heal him while aggroing everything in sight as he races by them).

I really hate when I'm doing amazing at tanking and the healer is whining about things going to fast when they aren't being efficient ( healing you while pulling, not knowing when they can drink) like pull big, end combat, let everyone drink who is lom then start a smaller pull that you can basically solo. Alot of healers don't know this tactic and act like you are over pulling.

I am a married 29 year old woman, (Drae Hunter) something i hate the most is when people realize I AM a girl, the pervs come running in a dungeon. I often have to run with my husband (Pally Tank) and my husband didnt get it until it happened while running a dungeon together. This guy was gross, even made the other members uncomfortable and got worse with rejection. The whole "nice" guy routine, on the dungeon chat and privately. Thats when my husband had to say something and when he didnt stop, he got booted. I got him blocked too. The group ran so much smoother.

In this case your using yourself as statistical evidence to prove or promote women gamers make up a very large population which in this sole case is meaningless because 1 person does not make up a large number of women players. I have never seen any evidence that women make up a large population, only your word, which is flawed because it contains no context or evidence however I do not necessarily disagree with you your probably right. I still occasionally get kiddies in Stormwind or Orgrimmar whispering me and begging for gold and items or armor. They're always low level (below level 50) and end up haveing to be blocked because they wont take no for an answer and get salty when you tell them to go find another person to beg to.. Lol

One day I was bored, and this dude was asking everyone he could for money. He eventually got to me, and I said ok. We opened trade and I put in 1 copper. He said he wanted a few gold. So I made it 2 copper "That gud?" I asked. He said he needed gold, so i closed the trade, reopened it and put in 1 copper again "1 gold yes?". At this point you could tell he was getting annoyed, and told me he needed gold. So i took the copper out, put in 1 gold. His side lit up green, but I didn't click accept. I waited till he said something, then closed trade. I reopened it, and put in 1 silver. He closed trade, and I proceeded to follow him around trying to open trade with him until he blocked me. Saying things like "You need gold yes?" "I give gold now" "want still gold?".

I have always been a casual player. I progress my characters enough to experience the story. If I want something legendary from a raid, I wait two or three expansion packs later so the raid is easy to solo. A mage of mine recently acquired Dragonwrath. The WoW players I hate the most are the elitists. High and mighty, holier than though. Constantly belittling the less skilled instead of giving constructive criticism. My example was back during Cataclysm. I join ZG via the dungeon finder. I enter and the first boss is already dead. Second boss. We kill it. Get msg "Hey DK pick up the DPS." Next boss is killed. My DPS is better than before, but still... "Your DPS is shit. Don't bother playing WoW. You suck at it." I am then kicked. I check the battle logs and look up their names. They were all part of the same guild and had top level gear. Probably the same hardcore raiding elitists who think "I don't care if your only child just got bit by a black widow. You are raiding tonight! I'll admit that it is not cool to beg for gold, but back in BC I did a beg that got me 1000G. Me: "Ret pally looking for pell grant for equestrian Ph.D." Giver: "That's the most original beg I have ever seen."

We had one of these guys in a raid not to long ago. Had to fill a last DPS spot, so grabbed a pug. He ended up bitching the entire time, talking shit and complaining about people standing in stuff. Our raid leader got tired of it, and started sharing the logs that showed him taking more damage from things he shouldn't be standing in than anyone else. Also shared logs showing that he died the most, and at the time 8 out of 10 of the b-rezzes that had been used, had been used on him. Then he directed his anger on the healers, blaming us for his deaths. I replied with "Well, if you'd learn to not stand in shit, I wouldn't have let you die".

sad thing is hunter pets can and do tank a lot of stuff "right pet does help too".. works well in most dungeons.. raids not so much.. player tanks hate it though because #1.. most hunters dont have the right pet.. and #2 it makes the tanks feel replacable.. and #3 most hunters have pet on wrong settings... healers dont like healing pets either.. most think pet healing is beneath them.. at least these are what ive experianced.. including successfully pet tanking dungeons with my hunter...

Leaving after 1 wipe. No problem. As a pally, druid or a mult spec with healing, tank and dps, we (the group) can wait for about 5 min and if no one shows up, I change specs and take over tanking or healing. If I am a hunter, I let my pet tank. One group, slow going, until a tank arrives. Sorry, if I left growl on, I usually try to remember to turn it off. If I am a priest, I switch to holy if the priest leaves. Therefore, if you have a multi spec toon, just learn to play all your spec or at the least have it setup for these situation. I had a time when I was down in a lvl 30 dungeon and the tank somehow lost control of all the mobs. As a druid, I took over the tanking before they killed the priest 2 times that happened and the Healer asked me to tank and we switch. After the dungeon, I gave the new tank some pointers on how to tank really good for the future. This was the nice tank and he was new to tanking. Another time the same thing happened and the tank left. We waited and I switch over to tank until the tank can be found. I tank part of the dungeon and the new tank took over and we went on about our business. I had another one where the tank wasn't setup and I switch my pally to tank spec and took over. I was very happy to help out. I normally got the tanking and dps down. The point here is to have your spec setup just in case the issue above happens. By the way, one time another the tank and healer left, and I tank the small mob as a Mage. I got a way with it using my frost spec and running. LOL. I get a 0.o from one of the player... That's some fun times.

you missed out those players usually found on pve servers that have maximum gear but want to duel low level players and if you cancel the duel they'll spend a hour or so emoting spit at you, or until you ignore them, where they'll return with another maxed out character that just emotes spit at you.

Yea... but you can't really judge off those stats. Meters have a limited range, and it's not that hard for people fighting to be out of range for your meter to record them. Getting kills can sometimes be all luck. When my DH had just barely hit 110, i went into a BG and ended up with 8 kills. Way out geared by most everyone else, i just got lucky with the killing blows. The next BG, I only got 2, yet was 2nd on DPS.

I've been in a match with something similar. A prot pally was arguing with a priest, and ended up with the prot pally linking the heal meter he had. The priest was near the bottom on his list for heals done, where as he (the pally) was up near the top, not at the top, but near. On my meter though, the priest the pally was arguing with had more healing done by far than the pally did, where as the pally's heals was near the bottom. Meaning I spent more time around the priest than the pally, which also means that the priest didn't spend enough time around the pally for the pally to have an accurate meter for the heals of the priest. It's stupid to go off your meter as a gauge for how much someone is taking part. For the meters to be accurate, you have to be close enough to EVERYONE AT ALL TIMES. Which is completely impossible in battle grounds, thus impossible to have accurate meters that show how active people are. People who think the meter is a good representation of effort being put in by other people.

i think the issue with fewer healers and tanks is something i have come across in my D&D group, but we have a workaround - we figure out who is playing what prior to the campaign start, and more or less cycle, "brew, you get first pick, you healed the party last campaign" etc. in WoW, unless you know a group you can join from the getgo, you don't have that, and quite often, it becomes assumed someone else will fill. See overwatch, how often do 4 people immediately lock a damage dealer instead of a mercy, reinhardt, etc? in WoW, its accentuated by there being very few healer and tank specs, but a lot of different damage dealer specs, making it much easier to find a path that fits your style as a dps. after a while in the game, i found if i need to tank, i can pull off prot paladin, and if i need to heal, i can pull holy priest, but i still tend toward my rogue, because i like annihilating someone from the shadows and slinking away while they bleed out with a knife in their kidney. There are 6 tank specializations, 6 healer specializations, 11 ranged dps specializations, and 13 melee dps specializations. personally, i had to dig deep to find i could pull off one of the 6 tank or healer specs, but i was pretty easily able to meld into several different classes : Assassination rogue, Arms warrior, Fire mage, Marksmanship hunter. its alot easier to pick a damage dealing spec and feel good with it, because there are twice as many of them as healing and tanking put together. not to mention questing in the world. few people want to deal with switching between two specializations for a dungeon and have to switch back later. so alot of people just go "ill stay in ret and DPS through the dungeon". it can also throw a wrench if someone has been playing a lot of one spec, and suddenly needs to play a completely different one at maximum capacity(mythic+8 healer who has been playing shadow priest for the past 4 weeks) 6 - no, ganking is killing another player in the world through underhanded means. i might use cheapshot on a mage who pulled 4 adds while questing because it was funny. though i get what you mean. i avoided being that guy(prior to the pvp scaling, now its more or less a level-ish playing ground) unless you actively provoked me, or killed someone i told i would help out. you are referring to campers/griefers. as my dad put it, getting ganked was earning your stripes in the game. and you can return fire should you choose. i had one case, still remember it 13 years later, i was leveling my orc warrior, i was maybe level 45, and i was getting chased by a level 42 and i think a 55 or something, i dont remember exactly, but it was under 60. my dad happened to have his 60 troll rogue in felwood, so he told me to just keep running past him, and as soon as he starts attacking the big guy, i turn around and waste his buddy. we nailed them both, great times. "Welcome to Gankfire Peninsula, you are reading this as a ghost with a 2 minute res timer" vanillas pvp system helped out quite a bit here, via the dishonorable kill system - you touch someone who is too far below you, you get points taken off, and can lose pvp ranks. now, not all gankers were into the ranking, but it could really drill you if you were a rank 10 pvp guy and went on a spree

Um, I will agree with everything except your numbers for girls. Actually...RP servers ((cant speak for the rest)) are split pretty evenly on gender. I mean OOC gender, I am on the Server Wyrmrest Accord, been on it since its launch. I am a GM, have raided and rped....and your VERY wrong on the percentage of girls. Now that being said, you MAY be right about the girls in places like gold shire...dancing/flirting and playing V card to get stuff being guys much more often than girls. However speaking OVERALL, the server is like 45% Female, 55% Male. My guild was actually more like 70% girls ((who talked IN voice chat)) and stayed away from the Horny guys. Girls actually enjoy a good story, playing out a char like in a book just as much ((and in some cases even more)) than guys on the rp servers. They just dont normally ERP, or prostitute themselves as often as guys will pretending to be a girl for the perks. YES there IS perks and YES this gives real girls a bad taste and bothers a lot of them.

...and you will know us by the Trail of Dead yes lfr and lfg is what you think it is. What it takes away is basically people needing to act like human beings in the game. Without lfr lfg one you need to be a high enough level to get to where you want to play you have to make friends with others and they may even need to escort you there once there the group can use a summon stone to get other friends there you have to work together and grow as a group and be nice to each other or things tend to fall apart you also tend to communicate much more with each other which tends to make more friends and breeds more friendly people with lfr lfg anyone can rage quit pick a person to blame for wipes or just put the group through the ringer on a never ending treadmill of lets go faster mob after mob after mob one tenth the feeling of adventure ect. Loose the lfr and lfg and the community is changed instantly to me. :)

In all honesty I’m fairly okay with every change blizzard has made except for lfr lfg and levels caps almost comes maxed out when you buy an expansion. If I had an extra wish it would be no level caps at all with an infinite amount of power being able to be obtained by time spent grinding in game but that would usher in an extreme change in game play. I earned every level on my human warrior tank from day one starting at level one so that character is special to me. I feel all the characters should have to start at level 1 and lastly this whole zone adjustment they are adding in on bfa from what I have heard just sounds like most of the last bit of the fine tuned level of fear of agroing mobs from exploring will be turned into more of a chunky zoned experience but I will see. Some of my best memories where wondering down into stranglethorn vail and seeing a tiger uncloak and wreck my world leading to giggly paranoia when I would hear that roguish cloaked sound effect anywhere near me and running and screaming away in fear being reduced to begging for help in escorting me through just so I could make it to that next precious flight point so I could bypass the horrors that was that jungle in the hopes of just exploring more of the continent no telling how many hours I spent swimming on the edge of the continents only to be horrified at the moment of realization that a fish was capable of killing me swiftly and I would be transported to some unknown graveyard so I explored quite a bit in ghost form too lol. There are some reasons that there are so many DPS players instead of healers and tanks, that weren't ever mentioned. And those are the people who have memorized every mechanic of every boss of every raid and dungeon and if "anyone" tries to be a tank or healer that doesn't have that same level of knowledge, those elitist players do nothing but call them noobs, insult them, call for them to be kicked out of the group, etc, if they make so much as a single mistake that may lead to failure of any kind. So, yeah, you are going to get a lot less people wanting to put themselves through that kind of abuse by these players that have nothing else in life except WoW and then start bitching that people aren't stepping up as tanks and healers. And heaven forbid those same players help others learn the correct and effective way. To be fair on the healer rejecting the queue, sometimes they are doing it for the satchel. If the satchel isn’t there as a reward, I myself will decline the invite. I know it sucks, but there are times I’m doing it just for the rewards. What I don’t do is just sit on that toon until the satchel pops up. After declining the invite, I switch toons and on the other side of the issue.

I play a blood elf healer as well as a hunter and both are my mains because I can't stand it when there are seemingly no healers online...but I also like being a healer because you are a vital key of the group and if someone pisses you off as a healer, just stop healing them and let them die. I've only had to do this twice and both were directed towards tanks cuz they were being dicks. It brings me joy to let them die once and learn their lesson to not dis the healer :) (I promise I'm not sadistic or crazy)

When you are leveling up and trying to get starting gear to make questing easier running deadmines at 25 is a real bummer. It's not really the tanks fault for getting a dungeon with gray mobs. And they just gank low levels to cope with that and boost their egos also because killing a player that can't defend himself because of level difference is the best that can do in PvP. Basically if you are a max level player and you manage to fight with ganker, you will be surprised how these guys unskilled and undergeared are. Of course there is a one type of ganker that is not like that, I call them "Alt avenger". This guy is basically a guy who was so annoyed with getting his alt killed by opposite faction players, he decides to log in to main and just literally hunt down opposite faction players on area where he got his alt killed, is either all of them or just these who kept killing his alt. They usually kill once and then go back to alt in hope that opposite faction players understood to not attack his alt.

I don't know about everyone else, but the guy who leaves after the first wipe usually being the healer and tank makes sense. When I first started as a healer I couldn't handle the negativity after making a mistake. Everyone would rage over the wipe and blame the healer/tank; whether or not it was justified . So after a while if we wiped I would exit WoW and try again and learned that way. I know it is frustrating for everyone else; but that negativity makes the role worse to play and other than this one issue I loved playing healer. At present with how leveling is it's not as bad due to the difficulty of dungeons but a few expansions back I can attest that this was a major reason as to why people would leave, although this is just my opinion.

I will, i have on one occasion, have left the dungeon before it starts as I had misjudged my own timing outside of the game. I definately apologize for doing that during the moment before a dungeon starts.

LMAO, people been saying WoW is dead since 2008. Games like Guild Wars 2, Conan, Rift, Elder Scrolls Online, SWTOR were ALL supposed to be the "WoW Killer" and yet Warcraft is still goin. As far as ganking goes, that STILL goes on in Legion. Try playing a fresh 110 alt. You've got 2.7 million hp and getting pummeled by guys 10 mil. Not to mention their artifact weapon is maxed, with nether crucible talents and yours is not, so you're not even in the same league as them. Ok, you're not getting 1 shotted. You still have 0 chance of winning and die in 4-5 shots though. Its not gonna change till BfA when all the ganking sh!tlords can go fester and rot on one shard.

I still have special fondness for the time I was playing SW:G & "met" a WoW dev. He was playing SW:G for research & asked me what I liked/disliked about it & then told me he was working on "the best MMO in history" or something like that and said it was going to be called "Warcraft". I have to say that ESO is fun. I love the graphics in it but I miss some of the features WoW has when I'm playing.

Last night I was on my higher level night elf hunter in hillsbrad when I came across a rather low level undead rogue on the road, the rogue stealthed the second they saw me to avoid a fight but I wasn't about to kill this rogue. I did however want to show them how useless stealth is against someone twice your level so I ran around him for a little bit so he could see that his stealth had no effect. Then emoted a wave and was on my way :)

So, I started to get into Rping like a month ago, and I'm glad I kinda dodged a bullet. I was Leveling a Human Priest to be a Scarlet Crusader for RP-Ing. Thankfully, I just had to ask for gold and I needed it for transmog. And someone game me the amount I needed! Makes me happy that people aren't just like "Nope" and sometimes actually help you :D

None of these are actual types of players that I hate. I don't really care much for them. For me the most important thing is the experience I have with the game. So I hate when I try to take things slowly and everyone just wants to rush through dungeons and raids. I get that 99% of people have played dungeons so much they don't really care, but some of us do. Why can't Blizzard just add an option to choose whether you want to speedrun a dungeon or take your time with it and enjoy it? That has to be the most annoying thing for me

I agree with all your choices here, except for the healer one, as I find since there are fewer tanks and healer there wanted more and maybe have to wait for all of 10 to 12 mins to get in a dungeon or raid and dps who are a dime a dozen have to wait 15 to 30 mins in the finder and afk out cause of the long wait.

With wow I have had the complete opposite effect when sometimes waiting for a queue to pop on game and it’s the tank that usually declines or a DPS most of the time these days the healer is usually the one that is ready first but that’s just my opinion on what I’ve seen playing the game

I actually am a female playing Wow and I don't have a microphone because people cannot understand my Scottish Accent. Your argument is a little bit flawed. I have better things to be spending my money on than microphones, like kids clothes for my kids, or food, household bills. Wow for me is just a way to relax and have fun. I do not go into any heavy raiding because quite simply, I don't have the time for it. I have been playing since 2007. I have no male characters, mine are all female. There was this one time where a guy would not leave my mage alone. This was back when I played alliance and had a human mage level 39 at the time. I had no mount so could not run from him and very little in the way of gold. It was ridiculously hard to get gold back then, unless you bought it and even then, I certainly was not wanting my account to be banned so never done it. He kept asking for 1g plx, 1g plox, 1g pls whilst following my mage around. Well, getting a bit pissed with this guy I decided to get up a mountain as far up as I could go in Loch Modan. The guy was still following me. So I jumped off, used slow fall and he went splat because the dafty also followed me and jumped off. Knowing it was a heavy corpse run for him, I happily blinked away as much as I could and he never found me again. This was when you needed slow feathers for slow fall and it could not be cast on anyone other than the mage. So guys, don't follow us around. It's really creepy and all you will get is, a hefty repair bill, a corpse run and you certainly will not get this girl.

Just because YOU don't have a microphone and being an oddity doesn't make his reasoning flawed. There are always people who don't have a mic but the majority does. If you spend 15 USD a month in subscriptions and do dungeons and raids you should be able to buy a mic for under 10 USD.... I could understand it if you play on a private server very casually and you're poor that you don't have a mic. But someone who pays a subscription and doesn't have a mic shouldn't be playing the game too serious. If you feel so much discomfort being on voice you shouldn't play a MMO to start with. Your argument is flawed for saying I have better things to spend money on than a mic when you pay over ten times the amount for an annual subscription while wasting your time on a game when you have a family to take care of.

Had a ganker issue today for first time, he was camping a quest boss for people to attack, I get there as he's attacking a lvl 56 druid with his lvl 73 warrior and kills him but I go in after and with full boss aggro and my pally kills him and he tries and trolls me killing boss for about an hour, killed him once more though but died like 6 times lol, I'm level 44.

I have played since vanilla and while I have had a mic at times in the past. I usually do not use any voice chat programs, and currently DO NOT use or own a mic for my computer. Not everyone desires that level of interaction.

i tried playing tank or healer, and enjoyed playing them...when i was successful. unfortunately, both roles seemed to be a lot more difficult than playing DPS, and messing up usually caused the party to wipe(or get angry messages from the players you fail to heal). it might be easier for most; but if there are others with similar difficulties, or don't want the party to get angry with them, they might prefer to avoid playing the role altogether some parts might take a group to practice with in order to learn the role(be it pre-made, or lfg; though the latter might be less forgiving); but when i tried running healer in Legion or BfA, i was literally getting kicked for bad performance, and i eventually gave it up for running DPS; if i couldn't keep up with the regular dungeons, even after looking through guides, and playing through the role up to that point on more than one char, there was no way i'd be able to keep up with anything higher i'm not very skilled or experienced, so it might explain why i've been having trouble; but if others have been having similar difficulties, it might explain why there aren't as many i've heard there's a way to practice this with NPC's at a higher lvl; but i think you have to get to a certain point to try it, and i'm not sure how well it prepares you for higher tier dungeons/raids if they have a reputation for difficulty, or having greater drawbacks for failure(like causing the party to wipe, or angering a lot of players), others might want to avoid trying them if they're not very confident in their ability

For one I am a real female that plays WoW, though I don't ask for anything (unless I plan on paying for it IE out questing and run out of a mat I need I'll ask guildies that are near an AH if someone will grab it for me and send it COD, or from a vendor and send it COD) also as for the entitled casual, I admit I am a fairly casual player (would love to get into heroic and mythic raiding but when your guild is too elitist to even try and help you learn it's quite difficult) but I don't get mad because someone else has better gear than me, what DOES annoy the hell of me is when doing a raid/dungeon and EVERY DAMNED BOSS drops nothing but gold and AP for me......it's like come the hell on I helped kill this at least throw me a bone here and give me ONE upgrade!

Yeah, I get crap RNG on the gear. I once lamented about how I couldn't get into a dungeon to try to get better gear because my ilvl wasn't high enough and was accused of being lazy or something and not willing to work for better gear & told to go do the quests. I had done the quests, I just didn't get drops that had better stats than my older lower ilvl gear & the upgrades I did take still didn't put my ivl up. I ran 10 dungeons in a row and did not get a single gear drop. Working on the world quests now to try to build up my gear, but it's still frustrating being locked out due to ilvl (especially when it's only like 1 or 2 points off).

One of the worst players is the elitist. They think the game should be as they demand it and anything else is dumb and should be removed from the game. Nixxiom fits into this category. I like his videos but he has no consideration for casual players. He recently did a video where he bitched about the command table in Legion because Blizzard said there was going to be something similar in BFA. He said it was a bad idea and he doesn't use it and he doesn't know anyone who uses it. So Blizzard should just get rid of it. I use the command table and so do many other casual players because you can use it to make gold. I have 11 toons and I make enough gold to pay for 3 months of wow time each month. If not for the command table I couldn't play the game as I am poor. Nixxiom Bitches about LFR and Raid finder saying they should be removed. He says Raid finder difficulty is WAY too easy and needs to be removed. HE DOESN'T EVEN USE THESE FEATURES! They have no effect on his game whatsoever and he bitches about them. Some of us aren't in big raiding guilds and don't have tons of friends online. But he keeps bitching to remove everything casual players use because they are not as good as him.

I indeed don't agree with Nixxiom when he says this, as i also said in one of his video i think ( or maybe it was someone else video ) that I don't understand why some ppl complain about LFR, if u don't like it, just don't play it ! But Nixxiom is still good, there is far far worse Elitist out there. u can't even imagine. now Believe me, i Play normal and heroic more than i play LFR, i am just too lazy to do it coz every time LFR came out, the gear it offer me is already under the average ilvl i have ! Like i was already 940+ when Antorus came out, and it's LFR offer 915 base gear, like even if i get titanforge it wont be useful for me :| But i think it's a good thing to have for casuals. Also about Mission Table, i am soo agree with you. I got 6x lvl 110 Alt, and i get 2 Token worth each 1 months from gold missions, I only play game, i never farm in the game, i don't have the time for it, so gold missions give me the gold i need for my subscription and some extra to save up ! and let me buy that 500k gold Lightforged mount for example. In BFA i might have to farm a bit tho, i want that sweet big ass Dinosaur 5m gold AH mount, it might take me 2+ years with my low farming time, but it's worth it :D

WRATH2501 I agree and disagree on some points. LFR and the Mission Table are both extremely 'casual' features, but you can also make the point of relating them to Battle Pets and PvP. Because these things exist, people feel the 'need' to do them or are drawn in by it to do something they don't want to do, for a reward they might deem 'worth it'. Or, they'll complain about items titanforging up to Mythic levels, etc. But, my personal experience is I do all of the content, and I do it because to a degree I'm being a completionist with Legion. The Mission Table is a great feature, allowing you to get reputatiom tokens, typically 500 rep for an ordinary 100%, and an extra 1500 for 200%. I also Fish, all the reputations for it to exalted with for Legion, even the Battle Pet unlocked PvP reputation, Talon's Vengeance, I am working on and just got to 2k Honored today. I also have middle ranked Prestige 6 on my main. I also pug raids, I've earned AOTC and 961 ilvl equiped, mostly BiS, nearly 1500 ranking in 2s, 3s, and RBGs. I'm not trying to toot my own horn about how much I have done, but I wanted to use it as an example of what these two things help to accomplish. Mission Table grants rep, and gold for dabbling in it, LFR gives lower geared players a chance to see the content, and if you ever have a quest to do something in a raid, LFR has you covered for the quick credit with minimal effort. They both have a place, but I can see why people don't like them. If it's not content they want to do, but rewards them heavily for doing it, then there isn't any wonder why they speak out about it. But, coming from someone most would consider 'hardcore', these things have a place and I enjoy them. The game is better _with_ them.

The point of table command is not make gold thats why is useless as a game feature and dont get the wrong idea, I use it a lot for making gold, but thats not its purpose and makes it a failure as a game feature and Blizzard shouldnt be using it more, and the problem with LFR is that it should be an intro to start raiding but is way to easy and normally people dont learn anything when it comes to real raiding and the problem is that lot of people just want real raiding without learn anything before like they do in LFR, I personally use LFR in my alts to give them a little gear or to get an extra try to get Aggrmars Sword and mounts but thats is a little the problem, you shouldnt be receiving rewards equal or even better of real raiding rewards because its unfair to people that dedicate more time to the game, and thats the point more time dedicated to the game (an goofing of, doing nothing and ERP dont count) deserve better rewards in gold, mounts and gear

Elitist is someone who only likes good players and if you're not a mythic raider or 2600 in arena they will want nothing to do with you.

I know I'm way late to the party, but I want to explain why I don't tank even though I really want to. I feel like there's this really big responsibility that the tank has to sign up for. The tank usually has to know the dungeon or raid off by heart, and he needs to be fast as well when it comes to dungeons. I tried 4 or 5 times to tank but then I get either the DPS or the Healer complaining that I don't know where to go, or that I'm too slow. And that's just for dungeons. Raids are a problem for me as well, as you have to tank the boss, swap to the secondary tank, know every mechanic, so on and so forth, and in some guilds, if you don't do good, you're getting kicked out the raid. I really want to tank. Guardian Druid, Blood DK, Brewmaster Monk and even the Demon Hunter, I find them extremely appealing to play, but because of the reasons mentioned above, I'm intimidated to pick up tanking.
