Apart from PvP seeing a slight improvement at top levels, the game is quite unchanging throughout the journey. Classic is stale and predictible. Edit:I realize this comment may look negative to the untrained eye. Actually, this is appraisal from my side, as it is what I expect from the game and what I find enjoying about it.

When he killed an enemy, he actually gained 70k hp. Basically, every enemy and npc he killed, actually healed him for 70k hp, so people were basically being killed by his shadow bolts constantly and in fact, every time he killed an enemy he would actually gain 70,000 hp. So he was basically actually invincible. There's actually these videos of rogues killing people with the worst weapon in the game and without any gear. In fact, you could actually beat people with the worn dagger, which is basically the worst weapon in the game. This is how strong this build was. In fact, you could actually kill people without any gear on and actually using the worst weapon in the game. Okay so you're basically telling me that the raid boss actually gained 70k hp whenever he killed an enemy, and rogues can actually kill people with basically the worst weapon in the game?

Mildy interesting fact: You could throw snowballs on friends in PVP and some dudes did this, interrupting your casts and attacks as you fought. I don't know if they ever changed this but it was annoying. I contacted a GM and he basically laughed in my face. Cyberbullied by your own team 😂.

A guild mate was being to dick to people who got killed by the slimes you had to run in-between after Patchwerk and before the next boss (Naxxramas). So I had the raid leader switch me into his group, and I hit him with a snowball right as he was crossing the path of the slimes... his ass went on the ground and he got killed. Needless to say he shut up after that :D

There was one hilarious troll move where a warlock would wait until Baron Geddon casts his timebomb debuff on the warlock's voidwalker, and then TP back to Orgrimmar/Ironforge, and resummon the Voidwalker in a jam-packed auction house, which would then explode after a few seconds and kill hundreds of people. :) Fun times. using l337speak as a workaround to communicate with the opposite faction was fun too.

We as great Horde friends, kitting Anachronos off Tanaris, Azuregos off Azshara, some of the green dragons off Ashenvale, Dr. Weavil from his isle in Durotar’s Coast, or Omen all the way from Moonglade, to Orgrimmar... sometimes all of them together just for the lulz... yeah, those were the days... In Vanilla dying actually had an impact, because repairing your equipment wasn't cheap. Heck, most of the time I didn't even have money to buy all the skills. I tried to make money by mining, and if I remember correctly, you could get like 10-20 silvers from a copper stack (x10 Vanilla), and ore veins didn't hold nearly as much ore as they do now. Yes, I was a total noob, and the game was hard, but I loved every moment of it.

Actually, with the C'thun floor thing, it was only if the entire raid had the same lack of issues. There were a few people who didn't get banned for getting pulled into it, they had patcher logs that used it because of several people who didn't cheat and got pulled into the raids via warlocks. Those that ended up pulled in and didn't know it, if I remember right, still got a suspension for it though, but not a ban.

But it stacked exponentially, and after couple ticks it would do stupid damage. It also spread. We spread it all over northshire abbey and stormwind until we got a 1 day ban. It was fun :p

i knew about the blood plague, i was actually leveling at the time, my dad just told me to stay in desolace for a while, thats where i was leveling at the time. i didn't realize there were quarantine setups though. would be interesting to see what players would do if this happened again present day, maybe do that as a weeklong event so they can get data for epidemic study purposes? allow an opt-out within the game if you really dont want to deal with it?

I absolutely love this video! It reminded me of my classic days when World of Warcraft first came out. I also remember every single one of these things happening in Stormwind. The Lord kazzak in Stormwind was a nightmare I remember having to log off and come back later because it was such a mess. Corrupted blood as well that was pretty aggravating. And oh my God the wreck bomb was awesome because my friend was a paladin at least a stack his up to Great numbers. And I've always hated robes because of their abilities!

A few errors; Kazzak enraged after 3 minutes, cuasing him to enter Supreme mode. It gave him a bouble and made him spam this shadowbolt, this is what made him unkillable, not the fact he regained health after killing people. There are BiS items in Aq40 besides C'thun such as badge of the swarmguard. Also, are you sure they were banned permanently? If so, please submit a source.

You also should have mentioned how the top guilds on every server were selling Blackwing Lair and aq40 runs for gold. All in preperation for The Burning Crusade... Plus if you did not have the gold they would tell you to go buy it online and then get back to them... I was a stupid kid with plenty of money so I was dumb enough to do it. As soon as the burning Crusade came out all that gold became waste it because all the items I got we're useless! I learned my lesson and never did that again! But that did not stop them from continuing to sell runs for the latest Raids right before a new expansion came out...

That last one seems like blizzards fault .. if there is an exploit in your game and people find it it's not the gamers fault it was there.. it's depressing to me because wow takes a lot of time and dedication imagine being in that raid you had spent so much time on your character and just because you all found a way to go through the map everyone loses all that progress all the money that they spent on the game wasted ... Seems disrespectful on blizzards part honestly.. it's not like skipping bosses is the equivalent of robbing a bank ..

The exploit was NOT in the game. You had to delete a file, so basically change the game's code, that's cheating, period. A player should know that's not a way to proceed. Yeah that's also a blizzard mistake making it happen, but c'mon, it was impossible for such a huge game to not have exploits to cheat. Anyway I'm agree that a perma ban was kinda heavy as measure, one mouth ban and deleting all the c'thun loots and some gold from their pcs would have been fine.

*sigh* Stop referring to 'world of roguecraft' as if that was a real thing. Just watch the videos, not one of these "fully geared" opponents had a pvp trinket equipped. No one is attempting to actually fight back. It is staged. I'll say it again for the slow folks out there; the content was almost entirely staged, planned out from ICQ chatrooms to get the opposing faction in on it. Rogues were really good, but they were by no means Gods, even with thistletea and prep.

It did however remove stun, and the rogues are putting in the vast majority of their damage while their target is stunned, not while the target is incapacitated by a sap or a blind. Yet, despite this fact, no attempts are made to trinket these stuns.

in relation to the Doom Lord Kazzak, when i 1st started in BC, one day i logged in and hearthed from SMV to Shatt and instadead, when i rezzed and died again i decided it was a good idea to take rezz sickness, and Doomwalker was going apeshit in Shatt, turns out an Alliance guild were inspired by the Kazzak video and had tried it wit all BC bosses to which only Doomwalker still acted this way, 3 hours later Dath'Remar (OCE) went down to reset this boss! man wish i had recording software back then, soo much cool shit missed out on! BC Druid tank "Shit left my pvp gear in the bank, let me take off 5 pieces of gear so i actually get hit to make rage"
