I had an Amiga as a kid! Even had the 1MB upgrade lol. Alien breed, Alien breed special edition 1992, monkey island and Indiana Jones were the greatest games x

my older brother bought a A500+ i think in 1990, then i got mine in 1992 from my first wage. i was actualy the first one who owned a A1200 in the netherlands, got it two days before launch.

Ohhh, those were the days! A500 + extra mem, all the games you mentioned and more. The GFX, the music, having friends around the house for a bit of gaming...good times, I'll always have fond memories of this machine.

I've started to do some retro programming on the Amiga to understand how is its chipset working, and it did have some cool tricks up its sleeve! I was surprised how easy it was to recreate the animation of some games without even pushing the limits of the machine.

I never owned an Amiga, i went to SNES after my C64. I cant believe how amazing the graphics and colours were on it. I really missed out. Cant wait for the amiga 500 maxi to come out now.
