Oh my goodness! I am SO grateful to have found you. I power watched the whole series last night. I’ve purchased a ton of pigment and mica powders to make myself and my granddaughter glitter paints and was worried how to use the leftovers. You have inspired me immensely. Thank you so much! Your cost cutting DIY’s are much appreciated.

Thanks! I don't provide links to products because I don't know where a lot of them are from as I buy them second hand. Also, many of my viewers are from different countries and wouldn't be able to buy the products from the same place I do. Plus I'm all about teaching techniques, using what you already have or using what's available near you, rather than buying specific products. Having said all that, if there is anything I can help you find, let me know and I'll see if I can find a link.

Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦Thank you Natalie. I so enjoy your channel. I love the way you utilize dyes, stamps etc from charity shops- it allows us to be inventive and use what’s in our stash. Could you, when time allows, give us a list of the card stock , grip mat and glues you use. I think if one has the basics right it makes the creative process so enjoyable. Susan x❤

You could mix the wax and pigment on the glass mat. More control of the mixing. Then scrape off and pop into the pot. Wonderful techniques, and I will try these over the weekend with my pigment powders.

A REALLY cool technique is putting sone kind of glue that dries tacky. Add bits of gilding flakes( wait to spread) add pigment/mica powders and then use the rough sponge to spread the gilding flakes. Chris Stokes has a tutorial. I used mica powders in the spray starch and kitchen syran wrap technique and I got beautiful backgrounds! It didn't work as well with the shaving cream technique but I did get a few good results with Pigment powders with that as well.

I loved that quilted embossing folder on black card stock - I've hunted for that demo through all your playlists to find out how you did that. Fortunately, you did it by spraying DIY spritzer onto the embossing folder and letting it rip. It was worth hunting this down. I love this technique with the embossing folder! Now I'm off to look at all my folders, mica, and ink colors.

Love the idea of making my own gilding wax, I’m thinking I have this cheap wax seal kit from Temu, the little candle and mini ladle/spoon thing would melt the beeswax to stir in the pigments then pour the melted mixture into the little pots. I really want to do this now…

So I'm watching this video for the 2nd time because I wanted to learn how to make your gilding wax. This has nothing to do with gilding wax but as I'm watching you use Versamark ink on an embossing folder. It occurred to me that I don't know how to clean Versamark Ink off an embossing folder. Do you you use stamp cleaner? Baby wipes? Just wondering what people do because I never seem to get my embossing folders (or stencils for that matter) really clean again. Thanks for any ideas.
@nbcascards7 ай бұрын
I usually just use a baby wipe, or I submerge them in warm soapy water and give them a gentle scrub with a cloth. :)
@b0000kworm7 ай бұрын
@@nbcascards Thank you. Maybe I should invest in baby wipes. They seem to dry out so fast.
