7- West Didsbury real test rout (updated 2024)

I failed my second test while changing the lane just before the Sharston roundabout. Was to take 3rd exit, had to change to right hand lane. Silly me, checked the mirrors etc, but a truck spoilt my test. My examiner was a very nice person (I think his name was Mark). Unfortunately, this silly mistake cost me my test and immediately back to the test center. I failed my first test because of same mistake (Lane change). Finally managed to get a test in Sale test center and passed with 3 minors. Videos from this channel helped me a lot as I could take only 2 lessons in Sale test center. On 16 January 2023, I passed for first time my driving with one minor mistake(one time I did not check my center mirror). The examiner took me through this test route. I was calm because I watch this video a day before my test (during my training, I did not have anough time to practice via this route) so this video was wonderful. 12:05 she entered a road and thought it was 30, but it was 20. Is there any signs showing 20? Because is there is street lights, no signs saying 20 and no speed humps how are you supposed to know?

At the beginning of the road there will be sign if it’s 20 mostly 20 signs will be written on side of the road as well

Sorry if it's silly but why did you encourage to turn into the middle lane at 3:20? Is it because cars may turn left from the opposite lane of traffic? I get that the left lane goes to M60 later, just trying to figure out if turning into the left lane would be a fault during the test.

No problem you can but after few hundred yards move to right lane by checking mirrors and giving signal
