The question about dating between races in Russia...it is all simple, if a girl is attractive and nice, she will attract boys, no one cares about ethnicity or religion, they care about the person. I visited Russia long ago and was welcomed warmly even though I was an American, which was always trying to stir up trouble. In fact I made friends easier than in my native USA and finally I gave all my assets away and moved to St Petersburg Russia in the first week of 2000 and have had nothing but great experiences here with great friends all those 24 years. It is easier to live a good secure happy life in Russia than in the US. Although I had high income in the US, coming with only 2 suitcases and $6000 life has been more pleasant, freer, happier, zero stress, great access to culture and vast numbers of friends,I doubt I could ever go back and be happy in the US. Part of the lower stress is lack of crime and lack of debt, having almost no bills yet great social and cultural life, it would be tortue if I had to live in the US again where anything you say can make enemies out of "friends" and walking into the wrong neighborhood can be life threatening, and where money is the only love people have, yet even wealthy live limited fearful lives.

My sister (Russian, Orthodox) married a Tatar and converted to Islam. Their family recently celebrated their 23rd birthday, 2 children. My niece (Russian, Orthodox) married a Kazakh (Asian), their family has celebrated 7 years, 2 children. These are examples from our family. And now about the example of a wonderful Negro (in Russia this is not an insult, but only belonging to a race), who made an invaluable contribution to the history of Russia. Abram (Ibrahim) Petrovich Hannibal (born in 1696, Abyssinia or Cameroon, died in May 1781, Suida, St. Petersburg province). He was the son of a black African prince, a vassal of the Turkish Sultan. In 1703, he was captured and sent to the Sultan's palace in Constantinople. In 1704, an Istanbul merchant of Croatian-Serbian origin, Savva Raguzinsky, brought Hannibal to Moscow, and a year later Hannibal was baptized. Since 1756, he was the chief military engineer of the Russian army, in 1759 he received the rank of general-in-chief. He retired in 1762. Минус только один, смотреть будут тоже русские :) а тут с монетизацией тогда проблемы. На самом деле можешь вести канал на английском, просто добавляя русские субтитры - таких каналов тоже не мало, а иностранцам полезно будет посмотреть на жизнь в РФ.

The man who wondered why you should choose Russia might have meant it the other way around. He might have, on the contrary, meant that Russia was or had been not the best place to settle down compared to warmer, say, France or Britain. It's only just now that it becomes more and more obvious that the social and cultural environment in the West is crumbling but it wasn't that obvious some 7-10 years back then

Language and thinking 99% speak English. We where never a colony of British or anyone else, we are Russian Empire ! 💪😁 China is same, another Super Power that needs no English. But, of course it is always good to learn and speak multiple languages, just not necessary for most people in Russia, more like a bonus of self improvement 🙂

When I was 9 years old and in grade school we used to study something called Geography. In that subject we learned about the Earth and the various countries around the globe along with the types of weather they had. I would never go and live or stay in a country where I don't know what sort of temperature I would experience throughout the four seasons of the year. I'm used to cold in the winter and hot in the summer and would never be comfortable living in a country that was hot all the time like India or Africa for example.

In my country Gambia , we do not experience winter only summer all year and rainy season but we do have a lot of tourists from so many countries like UK, Norway, Holland, Sweden and some Russians. Most tourists enjoy the Gambia’s weather and they bought a house in the Gambia to settle down and now live there for years ))) thank you so much for watching, my dear and for commenting. я за всю жизнь сделала маникюр в салоне 2 раза, потом поняла, что мне это не подходит. так что это совсем не обязательно, главное - оставаться собой, заботиться о своём здоровье и комфорте) никто не будет относиться к тебе хуже из-за отсутствия покрытия на ногтях

My sister, just a small correction. Please, talk about your own particular country and culture because, as you know Africa is not a country, it is a continent comprising of 54 countries. Your "cultural shocks" that you relate are not necessarily true to other African countries. Relate your experiences of Russia to your own country. Things like "in Africa we don't have that" on public display of affection. "But in Africa, we don't have snow", wrong and not true. In some African countries, there is snow every year and cold is part of life, as much as Russia would be far more cold.

Africa may not be "a country"; but Africa IS for the most part culturally homogeneous, and also for the most part IS hot! Snow for MOST Africans, in the Humongous Continent of Africa, is as rare as snowball in hell! Public display of affection (hugging and kissing, etc) IS NOT an African thing. Even the invaders in the north of the African Continent are quite 'conservative' with respect to public display of affection. All Africans are Black people; and Black people live relatively near the equator and were designed to live near the Equator. She is not wrong to generalize about Africa in the areas she mentioned; because Vast Majority of Africans represent the qualities she mentioned.

Africans do need a ton of that Natural Sun Tan, melanin; because it is hot hot hot, and not snowy snowy snowy.

Those people who come from outside of Africa should not be made to think that once they have visited one country in Africa, they have visited the whole continent. You must go back to school and learn the basic history, geography and ethnically of how diverse the African continent is, then you will probably have a sense of what I am saying. I am not speculating as you do, I am talking about reality of the African continent. If what she says resonates with the situation in your country, that's well and good but that does not speak to all 54 countries. Your generalisation is the first cardinal wrong, so should always be specific. You live near equator alone together with your folks, if you so choose and not every African. I was not referring to race here, because race is but one aspect of the continent.

I speak English fluently and I find it difficult to understand persons like this girl speaking English with a heavy accent. I feel comfortable with Americans talking with them. I understand them and they understand me, but it's a torture for me to speak English with some people of Europe and Africa who think they speak good English while they do not.

You are a beautiful girl and I wish you the very best. Some 15 years ago a nice guy from Zambia helped me with professional translations and we made great friends with him. Pronunciation is really very important in English because there are too many similar words and if they are mispronounced, the risk is high that people may not get your point. But you definitely do better than many Italian and French hotel managers who thought they spoke English but they actually did not, could not understand a thing.
