This Senate President statement should apply to the Nigerian National Assembly salary. Why shouldn't the Nigerian National Assembly earn 70000k. The representative of the people should be on volunteering basis and not a life time job.

Good discussion.... This is exactly NIGERIAN workers case, the GOVT and elites, needs to build estates for mid classes and low classes estate's, not too far and easy access by roads, rails, etc. And subsides the transportation fees after removing subsidy.... Eg, transport to work and fro is 2,000 . Give a train rides to and fro to be #800/ 1,000... And the businesses will benefit from workers ability to earn and buy normal goods like foods, clothes, soap, soup, toiletries, supplements, medicals, school fees, and taxes many more......

Unreal...Multiple d average cost of a meal + pure water × 3 times a day x 31days. Add daily transportation. How do they pay accommodation even if it's face-me-i face you? Utilities?
