I'm a fans of Kpop and been listening to Korean songs over 20 years now~ I'm so happy to see lots of SHINee and other 2nd gen idols included in this compilation~ If for me personally, SHINee has best live performances & best live vocal since their debut (upbeat songs & ballad)~ I listen to all generation songs, but I'm more to earlier generations especially 2nd generation, as they're the one started to set the standard for future generation from live vocals, complexity in dance routines etc~

I expect some SHINee performance, after all, their live performance is what got me into checking kpop live performances with awe (in my case, it was the 2012 KBS Song Festival, the famous Sherlock remix, i believe this was the first time they performed that version?) but ofc they have many emblematic stages :)

Ateez MAMA 2019 stage was one of the best stages of all time that had other artists turn their heads and go whoa. Also their Black Cat Nero, Nillilli Mambo/Fantastic Baby at Immortal Songs is worth the watch I think.

“The Boys” by SNSD at David Letterman - this marked the early but pivotal role in future groups at the time to make their own marks in western media. BoA already set the standard with her full English album “BoA” and Wonder Girls also followed suit by collaborating with The Jonas Brothers and being featured in their own Nickelodeon movie. “Not Today” + “Butterfly” by LOONA - the KCON in that year was theirs-the KCON was often nicknamed as “LOONACON” because of the inundating amount of Orbits who attended the convention solely/ for artists including LOONA. “Bang Bang Bang” by Dreamcatcher - the controversial lyrics was switched to suit the performers’ genders and it really conveyed a message. That alone plus the extremely hype beat made the whole performance phenomenal. (Not listed) “The Boys” by SNSD at 2011 MAMA - I personally would’ve added this one (so please support K-Ville Entertainment by becoming a patron of theirs) because this song (along with many) really symbolized their hard work. Jessica during the promotions for the song had bags under her eyes but still continued to perform with the exhausted group. Everyone was practically exhausted but they kept on pushing because it was such an important time for them especially with them hitting the western market in music with their English version of the same song. It was extremely memorable for me to witness as a teenager at the time.

Honestly all The Boyz road to kingdom performance should be on this list because they are on the Next Level and they are like one the best performers in kpop. All their performance on road to kingdom are soooo good and their performances are something I’ve never seen before in kpop and made more expectations sooo much higher when it comes to performance and they created amazing performance and me questioning how did we get to watch this for FREE! Their MAMA 2020 performance was soooooo good as well, I hope MAMA will invite them again this year bc they didn’t last year. I am Not ARMY but I think BTS MMA 2017 spring day, 2018 Idol Korean culture dance, 2019 stage, 2020 whole stage... BTS's MMA stages are legendary. For MAMA I liked 2019 stage with how they performed from 2013-2019 releases. Also MAMA 2018 Anpaman stage, Literally turned the whole Award show into their concert... Never seen 100% crowd hyping and singing the lyrics to the songs like that.

So I know it's not a big deal 💀 Also I hv been in Kpop since 2009, I hv watched literally every acts out there.
