For one, because its not a testable variable because cars aren't ran without manifolds regularly. 2... The thought of back pressure potentially cooling exhaust valves is bs! Car's with headers and turbos will have burned valves regularly, it isn't a thing. 3... Shock cooling due to no exhaust manifold is can be potential thing however is still insignificant in occurrence. There's gradual progression in temperature however, with normal driving can cause heat saturation due to the inability of heat transfer. My point, idling will not cause burned valves😂😂😂 internet mechanics

Had to fix a hack job the previous owner did. Had to pull the entire exhaust off to replace the CAT because they welded every fucking junction and bolt. Going to put it back together to realize one of the manifold bolts that connect the flex pipe to the header broke... And Honda thought it was a good idea to have a couple hundred bolts connected to the manifold for useless brackets and 5 point mounted heat shields. I swear to God I'm never working on any more Asian garbage. And don't get me started on the factory exhaust collector at the bottom of the manifold.
