70 Gallon Tank Install on F350

Installed a 70 gallon fuel tank on my 2016 F-350 Long Bed from S&B Filters. It was an easy install and the support from S&B was amazing. They have videos that show the whole process and everything is included with the tank for your application. I was able to do this in about 5 hours even while filming it. I did not use an automotive lift and only used a jack to lower and raise the tanks down and into place. The instructions come with the EZLink and were spot on. I just didn't read them before trying to calibrate the truck. About 1 week after sending the equipment back a representative called to make sure I didn't have any issues or needed help with anything. I highly recommend S&B Filters.
I hope this helps anyone that is thinking of installing or having this installed on their vehicle. It hurts initially filling up but, now I don't have to worry about trying to weave through a fuel station while towing. We can get to our destination, unhook and go into town and pull in without the 5th wheel attached.

I think my new F350 crew cab long bed with a 48 gallon tank was the smartest thing for did. I would love to have one of those monster tanks, but sometimes it’s nice to keep things factory during your warranty. My 48 gallon is perfect for long fifth wheel trips.

Our tank was actually 35 gal from factory. Understand the warranty factor there. S&B actually gives a lifetime warranty on their tanks as well. Thanks for watching.

How many miles were you getting before on a tank? Any idea how many you'll get?

I get around 440 miles with my 39 gallon tank. 08- F 350. I can hardly afford to fill it from empty. Can't imagine the cost of 70 gallons

That was my thoughts at first, but realized most of the time we would end up filling a couple times a day just to make it where we were headed. I was still spending the money on fuel but had to stop more often. Thanks for watching.

2011-2016 models can get 56gal. 2017 -2022 60gal per their website. sbfilters.com I contacted them before buying to ensure which one to order. They have great customer service and called to make sure the install went well. Thanks for watching.
