What a great haul! I used to sell handmade and costume jewelry at some of our local festivals and I painted a sign for my display that said, "Life is too short to wear boring jewelry". Sometimes just that one statement would help people get out of their comfort zones regarding bright colors and mixing and matching pieces. You both have such a creative eye for the beauty of all the things. SO MUCH FUN!

Large community neighborhood yard sales are the best. The best prices. I noticed some of your finds jewelry wise are from the 30's and 40's. Some from the 70's. We have a huge community style yard sale here and they have food and anything you would need, they have it. Great exercise all those miles of yard sales. Great finds. Some of those gems are real. Heather, the first outfit with the net hat is so beautiful on you.

Hiya! The piece you think might be amber looks like it to me (used to sell when I had a B&M shop). If you hold a black light on it , it should glow. The flower you think might be rose quartz, not so sure, but looks the rest of the beads look like serpentine (the green), garnet (the deep purplish red) & maybe onyx or obsidian (black). I am surprised how much vintage you found in the sale! Great jewelry! The 70 mile yard sale is very popular here but I have to remind everyone to be so careful. My husband and I were heading home in a tractor-trailor that my husband was driving and two men never looked when they walked across the highway. I am so grateful my husband had slowed down and was watching because those two men scared the life out of us! They were lucky we were empty and not loaded. So please everyone be very careful when attending these types of sales and walking out onto the road to your car. Great finds Heather and Dave!
